Every day thousands across the world become victims of violence, whether domestic or political, or due to any other reason.

Violence is seen as the only way to make audible the voices of the 'victims' to their 'tormentors'.

History shows how the British feared the revolutionaries...n how the Revolutionary Movement speeded up the process of India's Independence.

Yet, history also shows the consequences of violence.....the bombings of Hiroshima n Nagasaki left so many dead, n they left many more maimed for life....Their future is bleak as for miles around so many future generations will be born handicapped.

Daily we hear about people getting killed or injured in blasts, in india and as well as in other countries.

There has been a marked increase in the number of suicide bombings in the recent years.

Why are the youth killing themselves and others by becoming human bombs?

Aren't they educated or intelligent enough to realise they are putting so many lives at risk?

Don't they realise the long-term consequences of their actions?

Now our Cadet Naina Singh Ahluwalia is going to take a similar step...she's all prepared to become a human bomb...What will be the consequences if she does manage to kill Lala(though we all know that she won't do this)???

Awesome..........I applaud this........hahahahaha!! Maaro maaro.......Lala ko lali(ekta mai😆) se pyaar ho gaya.......pehli nazar me pehla pyaar ho gaya.......dil jigar dono ghayal hue......aur naina ki wajah se lala bhagwan ko pyaara ho gayaaaaaaa aaaaaa aaaaaaa!! 😆 😆 😆

Speaking on a serious note..........I think Violence is taking a toll on the every day activities..........Specially among children........At such a young age they are being exposed to violence,,

Ask any small kid what his favorite show on tv is "Wrestling"..........pat comes the reply........And they watch that horrid "Chinchan".......who i think is cute........but that cartoon is incredulous.........That character doesnt listen to anyone and is a handful, driving the entire school n surroundings mad........hehehe!! That lil brat is one of the most favorite cartoon of most kids today.......nd those young minds love to emulate what they see.........And emulating chin-chan is soooooooo not good!!😕

And on top of that..........video games...."contra"...emm...i think thats what my bro plays.........and all those violent shooting games.........

Because of this exposure to violence all around..........the tolerance level of kids is already very low and they get provoked toooo easily and think its cool to fight !!

And the entertainment industry is earning quick-bucks making violent films......and media is playing the devil's advocate by highlighting such stuff.............adding to the paraphernelia !! gosh!! i wonder whats on store for us!!😕

Either Stop this or suffer the consequences........We are already beginning to suffer..........A 13 year old boy in gurgaon shot down his classmate ,and the revolver used was his dad's pistol which was lying in the tv closet...........the parents are absconding..........And the important issue..........The child fired 5 bullets........just look at the level of anger........Just a verbal fight, a normal bullying turned into a brutal assasination😕.........Is this the way we are trying to become modern n hip.......!😕That child is not one bit guilty.....can u beat that,......not shameful of what he has done......he shot a person 5 times in front of soo many others.....the others kids who witnesses this event are under severe shock............Does anyone realize the impact it may have on them..coz this is sure to remain etched in their memory forever,.........It may soo severely affect their psyche......And that killer is un-apologetic.........How can u let him roam around in the society......u cant even give him a death -sentence...coz he's a juvenile..........But seriously , Whats going on????????😕🤢

well i would like to take the case of naina here. she was not planning to be a suicide bomber. she was planning to bomb only lala. frustration and failure do provoke people to take extreme steps like naina did and the consequences is seen - lala did not die. sameera was injured. not even once the great naina singh ahluwalia bothered to think that along with lala other innocent lives could be killed. u cannot and can never use violence as a soln to protect and innocent by killing an innocent. u r only ruining other people's life and u'r own. it will not take long for everyone to realise to put two and two together and realise what naina is upto and i am really worried for her future now. but such things do happen in real life and this is due to the fact that humans r no longer able to control their emotions - due to the stressful life they r leading. if we do not want people like naina to resort to violence then they should always be given good support and love and enouragement to think positively. leaving them alone to do as they want will always result in something dangerous.

Thanks for participating in the 'discussion' guys.

Thankfully Naina didn't turn out to be planning a suicide attack....but what she has done has put Sameera and other people in danger.

Violence has never been a solution...it has only brought grief and destruction.

Violence is extreme, but so is the situation faced by the cadets today.....Lala is a disease that can't be rooted out in any other way.....so isn't violence required there?
Maybe this is the question raised in Naina's mind and that is why she took this extreme step.

Yet, everyday we read about all these incidents in the newspapers, watch the news on tv....but still the incidents of violence are on the rise...why?
N it's not just the illiterate people who are involved....kids n people from good homes, like in the case Vandu mentioned, are involved in violent incidents. They know the consequences of their actions...still they act upon their basic instincts..

I guess we still don't have the right to call ourselves civilised if this is the case.

Hello

Congrats -- to amail1601 --on openning / posting such a super topic.

In any serial that begin so well, I find all the scrpt writers use violence midway. it does reflect a very poor reflection of the society and the surruonding which we live. there are other better means of getting a person to book and deliver justice. this avenue is never used by the Director and the writers.

Very Sad indeed.

L R L was different and great in the first half but once the deviation took after Rajeev Khandelwal left was too huge and very sad and dissapointing.

well as u have mentioned - all depends on our basic instincts. as bhargav and naina rightly pointed out in one of the epi - the thin line that seperates from deciding what is rite and what is wrong is nothing but our own conscience. naina is just following her conscience but rite now that conscience is neither rite nor wrong but just guilty of ending up killing an innocent. u can lie to the world and god that u have done nothing wrong but the truth is that deep down the heart u conscience will always nag u and u know u r wrong and the day u accept it u will no longer need to resort to violence. but that never happens now does it - as they say - to err is human.

agree wid u. i never expected naina to actually try killing lala in public when she knows that other innocent lives can be killed. she knows that sameera is injured now. yeh army mein rehkar bhi apne emotions ko control nahin kar sakti? what happens if young officers like naina r send to battle field - will they ever be able to accept the bloody facts there? pata nahin the dj's have done wrong in portraying naina's char this way. a real army officer would never do such a thing.

Thanks Manzz....it's good to be back in a discussion..n I really missed you Anu...you always give great points in discussions 😊

I agree with both of you completely...firstly, there is no need to resort to such violence...yet, as Anu said...it's a reality of life...these thigs do happen, n I applaud DJs for showing such things...though they have overdramatised it....but that's creative liberty.

And I agree that there is just a fine line between right and wrong, n kuch cheezein right ya wrong hokar bhi nahin hoti(a bit confusing concept but I know all you intelligent people will understand).

Like I said before...maybe some things are right in the short term...like killing Lala, but what are the effects in the long-term? Corruption will still continue...the criminal chain will run with a new head...Naina will be tried n punished, the other cadets n good people will be demoralised....KMA's reputation will be spoiled completely.....

We are discussing all this, n so do other people when they hear of such things...yet they resort to violence. This is a major failing that needs to be corrected.....Many solutions are offered, but nothing has stopped them ever....and even drastic consequences have never stopped them...God knows where this will end.

Pleasure, amail1601.

Very True, you have a point there. reality of life. But is it neccessary to show and deal the problem this way? is there not better way ? I am sure there are more subtle ways of getting things done.
