Mansi, i think the character of Abhimanyu is interesting but the scenes they are giving him are not allowing that to be visible.

Is that what you mean?

Or do you think Abhimanyu himself is both interesting and boring?

[But i still don't see why Music is so relevant to KMA, its boot camp not band camp ]
absolutely ........what is a band gonna do in KMA where the cadets wear SHORT SKIRTS n the civilians r in n out of the camp like its a park 😉

I too thought 'short skirts???!!!' when i first saw it... but then i realised this was a very stylised representation of the army.

n GAURAV is the most stylised guy........ speaks well, dresses well,acts well,is intelligent has unconventional looks, he has a stiking appereance even if he stands in a crowd he will stand out.... UNLIKE SOME PPL. .... aur kya chaiye? television main aaj kal sab aise vaise hi hai 😊

I think Gaurav is stylish, not stylised...

as for most people on tv being aise vaise, i agree... but there are still a few exceptions to the rule. And Gaurav is definitely one of them. 😃

First of all, day before yesterday's episode... it was great to see Gaurav speaking Punjabi... dekha Teena aur jojo, thodi si Punjabi toh hum Gaurav se bhi seekh sakte hai 😉 😆... cute and warm scene... i like Abhimanyu's warmth a lot.. Samay was warm too but it became visible much later in the show... earlier he was intense and then very intense 😉 😆... but post tumour he became warm as well... whereas Abhimanyu is already warm... the kind of guy who has no hassles with the world, the kind of guy you want as friend.

I think Abhimanyu's intensity is also visible on the fore now a days.... in yesterday's sword fight.... haven't seen today's episode yet.... I think in this serial... Gaurav has been given a variety of dialogues.... and till now he has been doing justice to all these lines..... right from Kabhie Kabhie.... fikr to dhuein mein.... to punjabi dialogues..... to that comic tome in the entry scene./... Samay did not have this variety.... He was intense , very intense.... and he did superbly well ... now as Abhimanyu ... Gaurav is proving that he is good at lighter lines as well.... equally good.... I am enjoying these light things also....the way he said... " Kabhi Kabhie mere dil mein khayaal aata hai...kya raj ko Nandini yaad aati hai..."....

and he has better scope in the physical scenes as well... than ADHM.... I think he used his body and physique very well in the sword fight... He was looking damn good.....again you can look very silly also doing sword fight in 21st century... in jeans and vest...Also he was too good looking in that famous hunting match..... I think LRL team is upto encash his persona, his voice , his passion (AB)... 😉....

They have given him so many dialogues ( sometimes redundant also)... but he did his part very well... concept of the scene is weak at times... but as far as he was concerned ... he did his part very well...😊

Mujhe pata hai Teena you're saying 'Par love story kab shuru hoga? Mujhe Samay waapis chahiye'... patience beta patience... tumhaara number aayega!!

As for the class room scene... again, i thought Gaurav did it well without going over the top... again it had the potential of him looking very foolish... especially with all the prophecies and predictions... uffff.... obviously the people who write this have no clue what goes on in a music class... unko bolo sur... taal... if its instrumental then for guitar its strings... a, a minor, b etc... music class sirf emotions pe nahi chalta...

Hey I think class room scenes are going very well... I also have no idea about a music class... but I think its entertaining here...😃

To come back, yes Teena i know what you mean by the resemblance to Shashi Kapoor... i too liked the way he constantly changed his tone... i liked the phone scene with his dad... there was an edge of impatience but there was also indulgence... you do this everytime but you're my father and i love you too... its the way grown up kids are with parents... especially when the relationship has had its difficult moments... i think Abhimanyu joined the army because that was one of the few places where his father would have very little influnce... perhaps there is also a little bit of guilt at having abandoned his home... though i'm not too sure about the guilt, will have to see if that emerges later.

Shvetal.... I think we should take back our words..." Aur kuch bhi aata hai..." which we repeatedly keep on saying when ever he recites AB's dialogues.... I think he can do other things as well... I loved the way he talked on phone ... His tone while saying.." Yes your highness..." with respect and then..." I will call you back..."... and then immediate change when disconnecting the phone... and finally Shashi kapoor style.." Cadet Singh.." I have always loved the voice modulation in his voice and tone... and its his great asset...😊

Teena chahe tum mujhe joote maar lo, mujhe ek aur baar Samay ko nahi dekhna!!

Main tumhe joote nahin maaroongi darling... I think we can give Samay a break.... because I am getting more variety in Abhimanyu... Shades of Samay come and go in his character...like I could see Samay's intensity in the last expression after sword fight.... but I think Abhimanyu is more entertaining.... and Samay was very intense.... 😊
