Hi. This won't be as long as usual since i'm feeling unwell. Just wanted to post something to start a discussion.

First of all, day before yesterday's episode... it was great to see Gaurav speaking Punjabi... dekha Teena aur jojo, thodi si Punjabi toh hum Gaurav se bhi seekh sakte hai 😉 😆... cute and warm scene... i like Abhimanyu's warmth a lot.. Samay was warm too but it became visible much later in the show... earlier he was intense and then very intense 😉 😆... but post tumour he became warm as well... whereas Abhimanyu is already warm... the kind of guy who has no hassles with the world, the kind of guy you want as friend.

Mujhe pata hai Teena you're saying 'Par love story kab shuru hoga? Mujhe Samay waapis chahiye'... patience beta patience... tumhaara number aayega!!

As for the class room scene... again, i thought Gaurav did it well without going over the top... again it had the potential of him looking very foolish... especially with all the prophecies and predictions... uffff.... obviously the people who write this have no clue what goes on in a music class... unko bolo sur... taal... if its instrumental then for guitar its strings... a, a minor, b etc... music class sirf emotions pe nahi chalta...

By the way, army codes of conduct do not exist so that civilians trust the army... these people know little about class rooms and even less about the army!!

To come back, yes Teena i know what you mean by the resemblance to Shashi Kapoor... i too liked the way he constantly changed his tone... i liked the phone scene with his dad... there was an edge of impatience but there was also indulgence... you do this everytime but you're my father and i love you too... its the way grown up kids are with parents... especially when the relationship has had its difficult moments... i think Abhimanyu joined the army because that was one of the few places where his father would have very little influnce... perhaps there is also a little bit of guilt at having abandoned his home... though i'm not too sure about the guilt, will have to see if that emerges later.

Then of course that initial moment of charm with Naina... 'sight for sore eyes'... waise thats the first time i heard that expression on tv... and the immediate change once she told him about Rajeev being Naveen's killer... the initial reaction was shock... And then the sword fight... yes there was shock, pain and anger but i thought there was also bewilderment... 'usne bola maar do aur tumne maar diya? how could you do that to your best friend?'... i think that is going to be Abhi's attitude...

Also this was the first time that there was an intensity to Abhimanyu... no wonder he came across as a good actor... intensity is always more visible, more impressive. I hope he does not stay intense all the time though... while it would be more fun to watch, it would also be a repetition of Samay... aur Teena chahe tum mujhe joote maar lo, mujhe ek aur baar Samay ko nahi dekhna!!

I really like Gaurav's scenes with Raj and the one where he sized up all the cadets from one hand shake. I like the freshness that he brings to the cast and i think he is inspired by SRK in Mohabbatein, the casual music teacher with a purpose. His eng. accent is really good too. But i still don't see why Music is so relevant to KMA, its boot camp not band camp 😆

I agree with most of what you are saying... but SRK in Mohabbatein, nooooooooooooooooo!! 😆 😆

As for music, just thank the lord that the script does not ask him to teach them Himesh Reshamiya songs... as long as its only an instrumental band 😃

Seriously speaking, agree with you on the accent... dont know about the freshness since i haven't seen season 1, so will take your word for it. 😊
