Naina, maybe you hadn't understood it yet. He's dying. Do you understand? HE'S DYING. AND HE NEEDS YOU.'

There's a man in here who swallowed cyanide FOR YOU! AND IN TWO WEEKS HE WILL BE DEAD.. GONE.. LIFELESS.. AND ALL YOU CARE ABOUT IS YOUR STUPID FIGHT?'

But still I'm here, you know why? FOR YOU!! SO THAT THE PERSON YOU LOVE WILL HAVE SOME PEACE BEFORE HE'S DEAD

You know what? Don't come for your Raj, don't come for the guy who you've loved. Come for Captain Rajveer Singh Shekhawat, your teacher and mentor of KMA, without whom you mightn't have survived. Come for a dying man, Naina. Come

She still didn't understand. Everything seemed to happen too fast for her liking. Captain Rajveer coming back.. her engagement broken off.. their fight.. Huda's sudden phone call.. him swallowing cyanide? And dying?

DEAD.. GONE.. LIFELESS..

No, he was right. She had to go. She had to talk to him, she had to see him before anything happened.

A tap on his shoulder startled him into reality.

'Huda.'

'What?' and then he spun around. She had come! Maybe he did manage to talk some sense into her, but still.. she had come! He jumped up.

'I've come Huda. Not for Captain Rajveer, but for Raj.'

He smiled slightly, not even caring about the fact that his heart was rapidly breaking into million pieces.

'Go right in. I will leave you both alone.'

She smiled.

It was an apprehensive step. Slowly she gathered enough courage to go and knock on the door.

'Yes?'

She stopped dead in her tracks. This man was not captain Rajveer, this man wasn't Raj. This man seemed to be drowning in a lake of sorrow. She almost thought that it was the wrong room when she heard him call out her name. His voice was nothing like before. The authority, respect and love it held were all gone.. what remained was a layer of shallow wooziness mingled with despair. She turned back and smiled.

'Hi.'

'How are you Naina?' his voice seemed to break with every word he spoke.

'Good.'

'Good.' He echoed

It was as if they were complete strangers not knowing what to do in the presence of each other. The room was so tense that you could cut it with a knife. at last, she couldn't restrain herself and blurted out, 'Why?'

'Why what?' he seemed confused

'Why did you go kill yourself?'

'I-- '

'No, listen to me. Why did you think we would never make up? Why did you think you have to die in order for me to be happy. Don't you know how much I love you? Don't you understand how much I can do for you?' All restraints broken, she was now crying freely. 'Why do you always have to act the hero? Why Raj Why? WHY? I love you so much, more than my entire life or anyone else. Don't go away from me, I'm begging you, don't go. Please don't go Raj. Stay with me. We can have a nice house.. and kids.. and we could--'

'Naina.. shhh' he silenced her bitter babbling. 'I have to go, don't you understand? But you have to promise me something.. move on okay? Don't stay moping after I'm gone.. otherwise I would never have peace. Move on Naina.. and don't cry over me. I'm not worth it.'

'You are worth everything I have, Raj. Don't go.. I wont let you go Raj.. I WON'T LET YOU GO. Don't die ..please don't die.'

'Naina.. I love you. Promise me you'll move on?'

'Promise.' She was now sobbing bitterly wetting the hospital sheets.. her heart wrenching sobs mixed with his quiet ones wracked their bodies, as Huda stood outside watching them. he was about to turn back when a movement caught his eye. Captain Rajveer was looking at him. He silently gestured towards Naina and raised his brow questioningly. And Huda smiled back, silently promising that he would take care of her, no matter what. And then he left both of them alone.

'Raj.'

'Hmm ?' his voice was getting slower and wheezier..

'I don't want to go home. Can I stay with you tonight?'

'Of course.. Lay with me tonight?'

She smiled and climbed beside him, murmuring 'Don't go Raj' as tears were falling freely from her eyes. He took her in his arms protectively with any last bit of strength he had .. and they both snuggled closer.

'I love you Naina.' He whispered into his hair, long after, when she was finally asleep.

'Naina…' he held her closer and drew a peaceful sigh. He was finally at peace again, he thought, looking at the sleeping figure beside him.

He died in his sleep that night.

and please tell me how it was.. i wouldve cried if someone enacted this for me.. but plss tell me if it was good or bad.. as usual the bold are the flashbacks..

and there is not much left to the story, I'm afraid.. but if you want, i'l continue a new one after i finish this. and please tell me if this one is bad then i'll discontinue

that was awesome.but raj died i cant believe that but i know u maybe having something better in store for us and in life there is not always a happy ending.its only in ekta's serials where a persons dies and comes back after a plastic surgery.but ur fanfic is mindblowing and plss continue soon.i am eagerly waiting.
