Amrita tells Prateek not to drag their children in their arguments. Prateek remains adamant that after he separates from her, he'll take the custody of both kids. Kabir arrives there & asks Prateek about the debit card he used to pay at the restaurant as it's the same card which Trisha used to withdraw money from the ATM, after she disappeared. Kabir asks him how he acquired this card from Trisha. Prateek denies his allegations but Kabir continues to question him. Prateek yells back & empties his wallet in front of him. Suddenly, Trisha's card appears from his wallet & he's shocked to see it there as he has no knowledge of how it got in there. Kabir says that if he's telling the truth then someone must have kept the card in his wallet to frame him. He gives time to Prateek to think & recall who all have easy access to his wallet & who could've planted the card there.
At the Grewal house, Kushan cooks lunch. Lavanya sees him setting up the plates at the table & asks him to stop doing such tasks which aren't meant for him. She tries to boost his morale again & says that he's a talented architect & should be only seen making designs & not food. She criticizes Prateek for not recognizing his worth. Kushan fondly tells her that she can still teach Prateek a lesson for what he's done by quitting the Swaika Industries. He tells her that Prateek needs her to run the company but once she's gone, Prateek will suffer.
Prateek recalls entering his own PIN while making the payment & comes to know that Trisha's card therefore, had the same PIN (combination of their birthdates). Amrita arrives in the room & Prateek tauntingly questions her if she too believes he kidnapped Trisha as ACP Kabir said so. Prateek tells her to go on & support Kabir instead of him. Amrita says that she's got no words for his accusations as she's only concerned about her daughter who's been gone for 1 month & during this time she's discovered a lot of new things (like his affair with Neha). So, she doesn't really know him that well & can no longer trust him with anything.
At the police station, Abhay says that it must be Prateek who would've kidnapped Trisha as he's highly insensitive. Kadam informs Kabir that Ansari (the man who owned the houses where Trisha was kept) died 6 months ago in Dubai from alcohol intoxication. It was a case of suicide according to the police since he was in depression & lived all alone. Kabir tells his team to investigate about any other residential properties Ansari owned & also asks them to find out any information from media, social networking sites, newspapers etc which mention his name. He also tells them to find out if Ansari was related to the Swaika family in any way.
Meghan & Bobby join Lavanya & Kushan for lunch & compliment his cooking skills. Kushan asks Lavanya if she's made up her mind yet on whether she'll quit Swaika Industries or not as he wants to start a new life with her, far away from the Swaika label. Bobby & Meghan support Kushan. Sonali visits them & tells them about Trisha's debit card being found with Prateek. Everyone is shocked. Kushan laughs at the news & says it's Karma & now he'll be paying for what he's done.
Lavanya calls her assistant & tells him to get the maximum number of Board members on her side so that they can force Prateek to revoke his decision to fire Kushan. Meghan tells Lavanya that Kushan is right in asking her to quit the Swaika Industries as it will rebuild their relationship. Lavanya says that it's not a regular job that she can just quit & move on. It's their family business & she shares an equal right in it like Prateek & Gaurav do. She tells her that she's spent her entire life in building the Swaika empire. Meghan says that she's not only given up her own life, but also her children's life & her own reputation for this company-indirectly hinting at her affair with Prem. Lavanya says that whatever's been done is over. Meghan again politely requests her to support Kushan in his new business & goes away from there. Lavanya receives a call & is shocked to learn some information regarding Prateek.
At the abandoned house, Trisha hears the sound of 'aarti' coming from a radio being played in the next room. She folds her hands & prays, lamenting that she was wronged by the one who she trusted the most. She says that she's had enough & now she has to return back to her mother.
Precap: Abhay suggests that they should arrest Prateek for interrogation. Kabir replies that it won't be easy to arrest him.
Kushan tells Amrita that sympathy factor plays an important role in the business market. Amrita says that she still can't believe Prateek would use Trisha's disappearance like that. Kushan replies that Prateek's already done a lot of things which she didn't expect him to.
