Its Diwali day and the entire family gets together (except Prateek) to wish each other. Amrita tells them that she's been busy preparing Trisha's favorite food as she'll arrive by evening.
Meanwhile, Neha tries to pursue Prateek to do Diwali puja with her. Prateek refuses. He gets a call from his employee who tells him that Amrita sold her company shares. Prateek wonders why Amrita suddenly required funds.
Lavanya & Sonali secretly talk about how a 'middle-class' Amrita failed to understand the consequences of selling those company shares for half price. Vivaan overhears them & taunts them for being so unsympathetic.
Later, the entire family gathers together to pray to Goddess Lakshmi. Amrita prays for the safety of her daughter. She gets a text from Trisha saying that there's a cell phone kept at the front door for her. She goes to pick it up & receives a call on it from Trisha saying that she should keep the new cellphone with her as she'll be instructed through this. Amrita takes the bag containing the money & thanks the family for giving her strength. Lavanya & Sonali wish her good luck but secretly hope she fails to get Trisha.
Trisha accompanied by the hired goon & a driver sets out to the location as well. She notices a gun with the goon & requests him not to harm Amrita. She recalls how Gaurav is extremely scared of fireworks during Diwali.
Prateek enters the Swaika mansion & Abhay informs Kabir about it. Kabir is at his office & monitoring Swaikas' phone calls. He instructs Abhay to find out if Amrita is still inside the house. Sonali tells Prateek that Amrita has gone to get Trisha. Prateek is angry that Amrita didn't tell him this. He yells at Gaurav for failing to provide money to Amrita.
The gatekeeper tells Abhay that Amrita has left already. Abhay informs Kabir about it. He drives towards the location where her cellphone was last traced. The area is in the middle of a forest.
Amrita arrives at the spot. She spots Trisha coming out of the car. They both walk towards each other.
Precap: Same as yesterday. Kabir holds Trisha back while Amrita is held hostage by a masked man. Amrita tells Kabir to take Trisha away. Kabir gets his gun out. The man tries to flee (without Amrita) & shoots at Kabir.
