Kabir wonders why Prem contacted Prateek through his cell phone first but then used a public phone booth to call Lavanya. He says there could be 3 possibilities- either his battery died, or he lost his phone, or someone snatched away his phone. Kabir says that maybe he was desperately trying to reach everyone to give some important information. Kabir theorizes that Prem's car is in Alibaugh, and in a disintegrated state where no one can recognize it & its GPS tracker system would've been destroyed. He asks Abhay to contact Alibaugh police & ask them if they've received report about a burnt car & to also search at car repair shops & 2nd hand car sellers.
Bobby & Meghan are leaving Swaika mansion but Vivaan stops them & tries to provoke them by asking if they've forgiven Lavanya. Bobby tells him to stop taunting & requests him to support their families in this difficult time.
Kabir calls Amrita asking to talk to Prateek as he was unable to reach him on his phone. Amrita says that she has no idea where he's at as he's left home. Kabir enquires how many cars did Prem own. Amrita replies only one. Next, Kabir tries to clarify why he hid Prateek's affair from Amrita. He says that it would've broken her heart if she came to know about Prateek's affair. Amrita replies that her marriage was already broken but she wouldn't have lost a friend in Kabir. She ends the call.
Gaurav joins Swaika company as the main authority & calls Sonali to tell her how great he's feeling. He says he's lifted the ban imposed by Prateek on his new wine series. Gaurav says that its his golden opportunity but he's scared about making blunders for which Prateek may rebuke him later. Sonali tries to boost his confidence & tells him to think positively. She says its OK to make mistakes & Prateek must've made a few mistakes himself. Gaurav's expression suddenly changes from being overjoyed to slightly uncomfortable.
Kabir & his team meet with a car repair shop owner who tells him that he found a burnt car in the forest & took away a few parts which he could sell. Kabir tells him to take them to that place where he found the burnt car. They find Prem's dead body there. Kabir sends the body for post mortem to determine when & how he was killed.
At Swaika house, Sonali is directing Mala on how the house will be decorated for the Diwali function. Mala says that the family is going through a rough patch so would it be apt for them to celebrate on such a grand scale. Sonali tells her to stay in her limits & do as asked. Vivaan who's sitting nearby & noticing his mother's antics, speaks to his mother when Mala leaves. He says that he must have inherited the evil trait from Sonali as she's planning celebrations when Prateek & Trisha are not at home. Amrita overhears their conversation. Vivaan leaves. Amrita tells Sonali to celebrate Diwali the way she wants to.
Back in the police station, Kabir tells Kadam & Abhay that he knew Prem wasn't the kidnapper as all the clues were easily pointing towards Prem. He suspects Prateek, Kushan & Lavanya as Prem's murderers for their personal enmity with Prem.
At the secluded house, the goon tells Trisha to call Amrita & tell her that Prem wants a ransom of 20 crore rupees. Trisha refuses to do it as Prem is a good friend of Prateek & so, she doesn't want him to get in trouble. The goon tells her to call Amrita from a moving car (so they aren't tracked).
Amrita goes through Trisha's blog. She decodes a post from last Diwali where Trisha fondly writes about Amrita making 'besan laddoos' which are her favorite. Amrita receives Trisha's call. Kabir hears it as well as he's tapping her phone. Trisha says that she's with Prem as he's kidnapped her. Kabir hears temple bells in the background but they are unable to trace the exact location. Trisha says that Prem is demanding 20 crores which he wants by 8pm tomorrow. She asks Amrita to bring the money to Nerul & not contact the police.
Precap: Amrita tries to contact Prateek on his cell phone to make arrangements for the money. Neha answers his phone & tells her that Prateek doesn't want to talk to her. She says that Prateek wants Amrita to leave his house & life forever. Amrita is shocked to hear this. Amrita decides to bring Trisha back by herself.
