The politician is miffed with Kabir after he left his office without saluting him.
The commissioner (Kabir's FIL) follows Kabir & advises him to stay cool. He tells him not to worry about the politician's warning & instead focus on Trisha's case. He assures Kabir that he'd quit his position too, if Kabir is removed from this case.
The manager of the chocolate shop finally comes up with an apt sketch. Abhay is unsure whether to tell Kabir about it or not, as he's disturbed right now.
Kabir is back home, drinking alcohol, when Amrita shows up at his door. She apologizes for what Prateek has done & said to him. Kabir finally opens up to Amrita and starts telling her about his 8 year old dead daughter. He tells her how she wanted to become a fashion designer when she grows up. Kabir then tells Amrita on how he had caught a drug dealer & put him behind bars, but he himself paid a heavy price for it. Kabir recalls how a goon entered their house & attacked his wife and daughter. He raped his wife and then killed them both. Kabir had arrived downstairs but couldn't save them as he was still in the stairs when he heard the shots being fired. Kabir was first to enter and found his dead daughter and wife in the bedroom.
Kabir tells Amrita that Prateek is right as he was unable to save his own family. Amrita sympathizes with him & caresses his arm to show empathy. Dr Varsha enters. Kabir introduces Varsha to Amrita.
Varsha tells Kabir that some Prem Nanda was enquiring about him and someone at her clinic leaked his patient information to him. She apologizes to Kabir.
Amrita tells Varsha that Prateek didn't want Kabir to stay on this case. That's why he sent Prem to retrieve the info. Varsha is not surprised & tells her that she had warned Kabir about it. Kabir tells Amrita to go home as Prateek may not like it if he comes to know she visited him at his home. Amrita requests him to stay on Trisha's case.
Lavanya tries to call Kushan but he doesn't answer. Meghan and Bobby arrive in her room & enquire if Kushan has really left home. Lavanya lies to them & tells them that he's gone to work on his tower-project. She advises Meghan to stay optimistic & not cut herself over petty issues. Bobby realizes she's trying to hide something but doesn't show it in front of Meghan. Lavanya sends them off to their rooms & breaks down thinking about Kushan.
Prem on the other hand, is missing Lavanya. He wonders why he can't get over her when there were no strings attached in their relationship. Amrita enters his office-room & confronts him about Kabir's patient information. She tells him that he could've advised Prateek not to go after Kabir in this way as Kabir is helping them in finding Trisha.
Bobby & Meghan call Kushan and ask him if he's left their home. Kushan tells them that he'll meet them and tell them about it. Lavanya sees them talking to Kushan on cellphone and prompts them to ask him where he's staying now. Kushan tells them that he's at their old residence but wants to be alone at this time. He tells them not to tell Lavanya (even though she's listening). Kushan assures the kids that it's not their fault & asks Bobby to take care of his sister. He hangs up the phone. Meghan immediately starts blaming Lavanya for stealing her happiness. Bobby tries to be mature about it & asks Lavanya on what she's done.
Prateek calls the politician & tells him that he's always provided him with election-funds but now when he's asked him for a favor, he's refusing. The politician replies that Kabir is being backed by the entire police department and so, he cannot be removed from this case. The politician advises him not to go after Kabir & feed his ego as he's the perfect cop for Trisha's case.
Amrita reaches home & Prateek asks her where she was. She refuses to answer him. They argue about Kabir again. Prateek tells her that Kabir has been unable to find Trisha so he's incapable for this case. Amrita replies that being Trisha's father, he himself hasn't done anything as well, as he's too busy either with his business meetings or plotting and planning his dirty moves against ACP Kabir. Prateek warns him to mind her words. Amrita challenges him to use his power and wealth to find their daughter instead, since Kabir may quit this case soon.
