Do you think Pooja's mom did right by hiding property transfer from Pooja and then asking Karan, that now he won't divorce her daughter. It sounded too lame to me.

When the wedding was already over, couldn't she have waited little longer to sign the transfer papers when Pooja had told her that her life was and will always be hell living with Karan.

I think Pooja's mom has lived alone most of her life & is afraid of Pooja living the same way. As sad as it sounds, she found that was the best way to assure Pooja's "happiness"...

Poojas mom is like many Indian parents who think divorce is a stigma for their daughter and would prefer her to live with an abusive husband than live alone and be an independant woman.

Very well said. I agree. But she doesn't understand what limit Karan can go. After getting the house, won't he demand something else.

Let's see what conditions he puts forth for Pooja to live with him.

i think ur right..

pooja's mom knows how hard it is to cope alone..

so she doesnt want pooja to face the situations she had to go thru..

Pooja's mom is from old time thinking...She thinks once girl is married she must remain with the husband for ever and Jamai is the best thing ever happened even if he is a bad guy...Abusive to her daughter....

She is simply in denial....not looking for her daughter's happiness or safety....

She is typical mother and Karan is typical Indian SIL (MCP) 🤢
