There can be no reason to hide from mother.. this where the show has lost reality..

No girl will tolerate such behaviour alone.. first they will find is a shoulder to cry and that is her mother..

I can not relate Puja to a real life character for this reason.

I totally agree with you....Ideally that should be the scenerio....Although there are mothers (parents) who are under belief that girls are better off with their husbands after marriage be it good or bad marriage....ABusive husband and all....Good riddens 😲 😡 Not sensitive enough to their daughter's needs....

I have seen 2 different cases where mother did not care enough and daughter is dead...In one case She could not take the pain....She had no support from husband against MIL and mother cared for her own 2 other sons with new husband....When first husband died he left alot of money for the daughter....So mom wanted that money for her and her 2 sons...This girl finally comitted suicide leaving 2 little kids behind....😭😭

We Indians think all mothers are the greatest....Most cases they are....but that is not the case with some unfortunate ones....SOme have mothers who are very insensitive and selfish...All depends upon their own background....

Pooja's mom simply is in denial and in lala land...

Pooja tried to tell her mom about Karan 2-3 times but everyime she could not gather much courage or Karan came right at that moment to interrupt. Also she kept quiet so it won't impact her sister's marriage.

But eventually, it will impact everyone with the worst already taken place.

yes she tried not hard enuf. in the beginning she didnt want add to her mother's worries to her already existing ones regarding managing money for her sister's wedding. later after it became too much she complained to the police and karan pretended to change so pooja let it. but that was her mistake. she shldnt have trusted him so easily. prolly let me rot in jail longer(till her sister's marriage) and gotten a divorce asap on grounds of cruelty. that wud have saved them lotsa a trouble. there wud have been social stigma, tongues wud have wagged but ppl wud have forgotten it after maybe a couple of months. if neccessary pooja cud have moved to mumbai for good along with her mom.
