Hi Hammie,
Hi all.hi naila .. was chuckling at your comment.. mazza ka hai😛Thank you for the update Hammie. It was my birthday update-aired originally on the 16th of March, but three years ago; gosh I was the tender age of 19! Still remember my day; it was a Wednesday, I only had a two hour criminal lecture-which FYI was the most cringey lecture ever. We were covering some very unusual things in that lecture; lest to say a lot of red faces. But yeah it was my first Birthday at uni, and also my parents weren't in the country, so kinda a weird day. But nonetheless a nice day overall. Weather was in our favour-being a spring baby means the weather can go either way: ie too hot ergo Summer like or cold enough to still be winter. (personally I am a winter person!) ..me to prefer winter.. heat makes me lazy.. a 19 yr old chick getting thrills.. you should have left the room..But yes...back on track. Wonderful update. I did enjoy the episode. I have notoriously complained about the lack of pace this so called "track-of Dutta's so called death" has taken, but these past couples of episodes have uped the speed and for that I am grateful.yes they have.. cant wait to get rid of him..them lot... personally i would hate to work with such people ..I am loving this side to Dutta: redemption. It is sweet. He's gone from the no nonsense, constantly bitter, always yelling "dokheybaaz" to the more patient, empathetic and mostly forgiving individual. Of course a lot of that has to do with Naku. BUT I for one like to believe that Dutta-pre his bhau-days was actually a humble and gentle being. yes i think he too recalled the "purna dutta One who was rather forgiving. Of course of all that changed with his first 'stabbing in the back' by his then girlfriend and boss, but nonetheless the picture I get is that Dutta was the sort of man that he now seems to be evolving into.its the process that he goes through.. he begins to see through his blindness.. but even so he did what normal people do.. trust their family.. dutta's mistake was he forget he was adopted..had he not..perhaps he would be more vigilant of the likes of kala! but he had to suffer to evaluate his life. The whole second chances things, is also-as Hammie rightly points-foreshadowing. We can all gleam from his treatment of Ranga and especially his pain in actually killing Chaskar what end Kala shall meet. In fact I found it quite poignant to see Dutta 'struggle'-if I may use that word- somewhat when it came to avenging himself and his family. Usually he's put a bullet through the guy's brain without even blinking, but this time, he actually faltered.on which note, may I add, I for one am glad to see the back of Chaskar. Good riddance if you ask me. The Eighties called they want their white shoes and afro back ;)haaa hooo.. and tight trousers.. medallions.. he lisped.. did i tell you the actor is a DR.. HAANNH no kidding..Dutta's ablution: shirtless Mishal? Happy birthday to me indeed. ;Pclozzze your eyes.. naughty gal.. now you can see you older.. twinkle has done a brilliant dutta shirtless image.Kala v Kishore: I for one found this pairing completely absurd. I have nothing against the actor playing Kishore but he and Aashka never looked good together or even couply. Granted they didn't need to-considering how twisted and sick Kala Tai is, but still I really found them to be chalk and cheese and not even the cute-opposites-attract-sort of-way but rather the more "Hey, they are a couple? What the?" BUT I do enjoy their snide comments. The bitterness levels are off the chart. Which is why I loved the little scene back during JMM1 when Kishore brought home two rabbits to symbolise Tasha, I also loved the scene where Kala and Kishore acted as the devil and Angel on Dutta's shoulders, post JMM1 when Naku rejected his marriage proposal and this is also why I loved this little scene between them. Admittedly I was laughing when Kala made that rather snide comment about her husband and his lectures. LOL. Considering how terrible this pairing was; (Nearly as bad as when Suds calls Leela; leelu; I threw up a little in mouth everytime he did that! Honesty!) the CV's should have utilised this quality and quirk if I may call it that, to have made the two more enjoyable to watch. Of course Kala got plenty of screen time, but Kishore unfortunately didn't!overall a great paragraph you have highlighted naila.. the miss match of the two K 's was deliberate to highlight that the forces good and evil existence.. my only distaste was the screen space evil kala is given constantly.. whereas the forces of goodness kishore,naku.. wereshown thwarted or losing battles against evil.. and its power..But alas no point lamenting, most of the characters aside from: Dutta, Naku, Baji and Kala were shortchanged. No development and no room for scope. Mere skeletons, that's what they were.Ok, now call me weird, but I do feel some odd (BUT MINOR) - let me make that clear-it is minor- sympathy for Kala. Hear me out:Let's backtrack a little. She is a disturbed person. A Very Very disturbed individual, and I am putting that lightly. She didn't need ousting of PN, she didn't need everyone's hatred (although she deserved it) she didn't need a fight . What she needs is therapy. Let's not forget she was a very small, young child when she saw yes saw her father being murdered. Now that in itself is HUGE. But to add to already what should have been years of therapy and understanding on behalf of the elders who were taking care of her, she then found that the murderer's son was not only brought into their home, but she (now that is important it is she, that feels this it may not necessarily be that that was the case) but she feels like she has been replaced by him. That he is now numero uno in her her mother's eyes.Of course as a child. As a preteen, who is yet to learn, who is yet to experience life, who is yet immature, that had to hurt. A lot. I can understand where her hatred came from.so do I.. THINK how a eight yr would think.. kala was neglected... by her maa.. she in good faith.. wanted tobe seen as kala pointed out some pious lady... now could dutta being a male child have a bearing for aye sahib.. BETA.. which she lacked...?Now we don't know all the details. Maybe AS did sit with Kala and explain to her what happened. Maybe she never made it out so Dutta was the golden child. Maybe AS did all she could to help her duaghter adjust.Or maybe she didn't.At the end of the day we are not given that information, we can use context clues to put together the missing pieces to create the whole picture, but alas it is mostly guess work. And that, the fact that it is guesswork, is why I can sympathise with where Kala comes from.NOW having said that, I absolutely cannot condone what she is doing. While she may have had an excuse growing up and while she may still be extremely disturbed and in need of immediate around the clock care and surveillance. She does still have her capacity intact. Her inhumane treatment is unforgivable. Now of course again we could get into a whole potato potatoh debate of why Kala seems to think locking people up, making them prisoners in their own home, and torturing people is ok, derives from the way her Brother run's his business, but at the end of the day she is an adult. One who knows the simplest of things, and for that reason her behaviour is not excusable.absolutely .. but the point is we know why she is bad.. suffers from mental illness. It is for that reason, that While Dutta is allowed to give her whatever punishment he see's fit he shouldn't take the whole situation lightly. Going to the lengths of attempted murder, imprisonment, torture and of course Murder itself of those who refused to align themselves with her, a simple: I forgive you and give you a chance for repentance because everybody deserves a second chance will not be good enough. He needs to see that she get's the help she needs. She so sorely needs...that 's why on naku's request he lets kala go... but the channel wanted to keep her negative.. as to the channel.. evil with its twists, turns, diversions is what maintains the TRPS!We now fast approach the end. All I have to say to that is: all aboard Hammie, take us safely to the end, our wonderful wonderful driver :)Thank you for the update-and I apologise for the ridiculously long post. I just I really liked Kala's character. She was a refreshing change from the normal vamps that we see. There was more depth to her pain and twisted ideals. It went deeper than mere vanity, arrogance and jealousy that we see a lot of. Plus to see how entrenched that hatred was, really made my hair stand on end. I guess the sucker that I am for a good debate I just really wanted to express some of my views. SO thank you for bearing with me! ;)Till next time. Take care :)thanks naila for an extensively interesting comment, which I am sure all on this thread enjoyed.. much love😊 ,yours hammie..
