Dutta~Naku

Dutta challenges all the villagers, if Ranga is going to commit atrocities against you? then I will fight him! Tana ji's wife feels Dutta's arm and screams , it's not that easy! how can you fight you can't even see properly!!!... Dutta looks down at her.. he can't deny his disability and he walks slowly to his wife for support. but still says, I too thought about my blindness.. but my confidence was built up by my wife.. all I want to say to you all is , stir up believe and your confidence in your selves! recognise your inner strength if you want to live with self rest , your heads held high!.. but for all that you will have to fight for your rights!.. He holds his hand out and invites them, if you are ready, then place your hands upon mine.. all dither.. including Mahadev.. and then suddenly.. one of the men with Tana comes running in.. he narrates the events and Tana is brought, by Bhola.. and a few of Ranga's goons.. bring in the badly wounded Tana.. his wife is hysterical.. Dutta disturbed asks Naku.. what's happening? Tana is laid to rest on the charpoy and his wife screams, this is all due to these guests! and Dutta lets go of Naku's hands.. and clenches his fist and his face contorts with anger! Tana 's wife screams as she shakes her husband to wake up! Bhola, shouts, cut the screaming and listen up to Ranga dada's message.. Mahadev, pleads, Ranga you were one of us! you changed sides!.. and Ranga shouts what am I getting by staying with you lot?working like a donkey day and night ,looking for herbs and plants! and what do I get in return ? two meals a day? I don't want this sort of sordid existence! and you lot.. you listen to this man .. it's Ranga's order, send this guest with us.. back to him! and one thing more.. so far only Tana got his limbs broken! If you don't heed to Ranga's words, than the rest will return as dead men!..the villagers complain and beg , including Mahadev who pleads for this not to do this.. the women cry aloud, they'll do this to my son as well beat him ,black and blue.. they all blame Dutta for these atrocities .. Dutta looks upset , and Naku holds on .. Bhola yells, you lot! if you want your men to live , then hurry up and send this man with us! Naku holds on to her husbands hand .. and Mahadev says to Dutta, Bhau I don't know what to say? who do I listen to you? or my people! Dutta replies gently, you listen to your community! as I am responsible for all that's happening here! it's my responsibility..seeing you have done lots for me.. now the time has come to return your favour.. hey Bhola, take me where you need to take me! Dutta declares! and begins to walk away , but Naku pulls him back and Dutta stops.. and Bhola glares at Naku's hand that stops Dutta from coming.. Dutta turns to Bhola..give me five mintues! I need to speak with my wife.. Bhola yells, aye ,only two minutes! and don't try to act smart! and Dutta replies, coldly.. yes Bhola sir! I won't act smart.. I am blind.. what can I do? come Naku..
Naku &Dutta in the tent
Before every one Dutta takes his wife into the tent.. she stands behind him silently. He too is anxious and asks her, are you concerned about my decision? are you afraid? she walks closer to his back..and then turns him around to face her.. and empowers him, Nakusha knows your strength .but even so.. I am scared..he rests his hands on her shoulders, and replies firmly..it's good to have some fear Naku.. a person stays alert! Till now I have fought battles for myself; for my family.. today I go to fight for these people! and the true taste of success will be ..when I can expel the fear of the likes of Ranga from their hearts! Naku studies his face and says, I won't stop you Saab..for I know you are going to do your duty.. and I'll do my duty as your wife ! I won't be your weakness but your strength.. you'll return victorious! and Dutta replies, your faith is what gives me strength.. previously I fought with passion.. today I'll fight with tranquillity.. previously I lwent to fight with a feeling of no return in mind.. today I'll fight with the feeling of returning to you! he feels the side of her face lovingly..and she mumbles, Saab.. still.. I am scared a bit ..and Dutta smiles down into her face, that's because we are human..not divine.. come here..and he gives her a hug..and Naku clutches him and snuggles tearfully against his shoulder.. and Dutta consoles her,Naku Aye Sahib said, you are my shield of protection ..so ,till you are with me ,I cannot be harmed.. you'll see I'll return victorious.. and they move away ..naku looks at him and feels her vermillion and then applies a tilak on his forehead...and Naku says, a husband applies vermillion on his wife to protect her.. and today I have applied the same vermilion on your forehead for your protection.. I am confident you will return victoriously.. Saab come back soon...I'll cook dinner ready for you! and he turns his face to the side and says shyly, yes make something sweet.. like you did yesterday, without sugar, but sweet.. and smiles shyly.. and he does too.. dreaming about how they fed each other.. Naku looks at him lovingly and then goes to get some honey and puts some in his mouth.. he eats the sweet honey from her hand..and then feels the sides of her face with his palms.. and then caresses the side of her head..
Bhola yells.. two minutes are nearly over! come out! and Dutta narrows his eyes and smiles as his neck swirls slowly.. and he comes out of the tent.. Naku still hangs on to his arm and he bids her to stay with his raised palm.. Dutta walks straight to Tana's wife and leans over her as she tends to a semi -conscious Tana..then stands before her with his hands joined.. give your blessings sister.. today I go to fight for all the tears you shed.. Dutta stands before her but she only cries.. and Naku says to Dutta.. a brother who has his sister and his wife's blessings will surely return victorious.. and Dutta shouts and says, I am not a son of this village! but I am indebted, to each son! each mother! and each father of this community.. you had to face this situation because of me.. and I gave you my word ,that I will bring all your men back to you!.. brother Bhola! you're taking a blind man with you.. at least tie my hands.. I shall walk behind you.. for if you lose me in the jungle.. then I hate to think what Ranga will do to you! think about it.. Bhola ties a noose around Dutta's joined hands and Dutta lowers his amused eyes.. all watched embarrassed.. and Bhola orders, move it now! Dutta gives Naku a sided look and then moves led by Bhola tugging the rope.. Naku watches him leave.. and then runs and stops Dutta ,Saab! and she grabs his tied up hands and he feels her cheeks.. and says, why are you fearful? you need to keep up their morale up.. your being amongst them with them will keep their hopes raised too! Naku sobs and Dutta leaves.. Naku watches the men take Dutta.. Sunderi comes to Naku and says, I want to apologize to you on behalf of my people.. we are helpless.. otherwise we never treat our guests in this manner .. naku smiles, don't you worry, nothing will happen to my husband.. he will return victorious.. till your family members don't return.. I'll pray to Bappa..and you too put your hand on your heart and think.. would you rather live in fear or fight up for your rights!..sunderi asks, aren't you afraid that something could happen to your husband?.. and Naku replies.. he's gone to fight for rights of duty.. and in this fight the truth is always a winner.
Dutta Bhau!
Dutta follows in tow as Bhola holds the rope. Bhola moans, everything was going fine, this man comes from the city and ruins everything.. but today he will be taught a lesson ! Dutta listens silently.. and begins to twist the ends of his palms to loosen the rope of his wrists.. Bhola carries on, he'll find out that a monkey can try as much as he can , the lion is the king of the jungle! and we are the lions of this jungle! now Dutta 's noose around his wrists is loose enough..and he frees one hand..and then the other..as Bhola and his gang keep laughing and walking.. Dutta winds up the rope.. and Bhola suddenly stops.. and worries.. then he turns and sees Dutta holding on to the rope.. why have you stopped? Dutta replies, coolly.. felt like.. thought I'll tell you kids , who I really am! all the men stop ,Dutta yanks the rope and pulls Bhola to himself roughly knees him then puts the noose around his neck..and tightens the noose of the rope around Bhola's neck! the other goons run to Dutta with sticks, he can hear how many running toward's him, and from which direction ..and he grabs one their poles and defends himself and hurls all of them with mighty strength..arghhh. Then he punches them and they fall to the ground one by one! till the last goon runs for his life.. then he grabs Bhola's head and growls at him.. you can't do up your pyjamas string and you think you can tie Dutta up and make him walk behind? you imbecile! now take me to that Ranga! dulla yells.. spare me Dutta Bhau spare me!!

Dutta realizes that it's hard to convince people of his own self-confidence, due to his disability.. as a leader, he faces the frustration of the villagers fears..as a true leader Dutta takes on responsibility for the men held captive by Ranga and Tana's battering.. he heeds to Ranga's demand of handing himself over..

Ranga's den
In some warehouse, Ranga awaits Dutta's arrival. The rest of the villagers are tied to a pillar and look fearful.. Ranga's men ask how come Bhola hasn't returned yet? but Ranga is confident , he says ,oh he'll come soon enough.. and if he doesn't than starting killing these villagers and send their bodies back to the village. ..ranga dada! calls out Bhola.. his hands under his neck! Ranga looks at Bhola's terrified face.. then.. slowly from behind Bhola.. with hooded eyes gripping the rope in his hand.. shows up Dutta on Bhola's side.. Ranga is confused, then glares at Dutta...wow! you trying to act smart with me? let go off Bhola.. otherwise I'll kill these villagers! Ranga orders Dutta.. but Dutta replies dangerously, if you dare to do anything else.. then I'll tighten the rope around this kid's neck! Ranga looks at both Dutta and Bhola and replies dryly.. so you'll kill Bhola? you'll kill Bhola? he turns, what a joke he'll kill Bhola! then Ranga turns to face the captor and the captive..and says calmly.. go ahead, kill him! let him die he's no relative of mine! I'll get rid of him..he'll be free of living! Dutta gives Bhola a sided look, and Bhola feels cheated by Ranga.. and Ranga says to Dutta, but you Dutta.. you'll not leave this place alive!
Bhola cries out, what are you saying Ranga dada!for your sake I fell out with my community! and you're saying kill Bhola! Ranga is quick to reply.. by staying alive you'll ask me for your share! eyeee.. just kill him! go on kill him! he tells Dutta.. all the other goons too are surprised at how Ranga disregards the lives of men who work for him.. Dutta looks at Bhola sarcastically and pulls off the noose from his Bhola's neck and says, did you hear that kid? hope you can see clearly now or you want to hear more?.. and Dutta wraps the rope on his hand.. Bhola fumes, it's a good thing I found out the truth about this Ranga! dutta Bhau.. you watch what I do to him!rangaaa! and Bhola jumps at his neck and Dutta starts, thrashing the other goons with the rope in his hand. He whips and lashes them aside! it them on crates, and Ranga hits Bhola.. but both Dutta and Bhola fight theses goons together.. Bhola twists a knife out of Ranga's hand. and holds it to his neck.. Dutta hands are held by two goons from both sides. Bhola yells..pack it in all of you! or I'll slit Ranga's throat! tell your men to untie the villagers! and then scram from here! Ranga orders their release.. and his men run away and the villagers stand by Dutta... suddenly Chaskar makes an entry! Clapping ..bhola and the released villagers look at him.. while Dutta strains his ears to hear the arrival of someone..
Dutta, Chaskar face off!
Wow!wow! Dutta Bhau! Ram Ram!.. from Chaskar!.. dutta's eyes pop out.. and chasker comes and stands behind him with phattu...what a party you have going out here!.. Ranga says, Chaskar and Chaskar checks him, nope call me Chaskar Bhau! now I am the Bhau of Patil Wadi! he sounds off deliberately so Dutta can hear.. hey phattu, pick up the gun and put it against this dog Dutta's head! yes this should be great fun!he looks at Bhola and says ,I showed him Dutta's wanted poster, his eyes sparkled ..but he never said anything.. but this kid.. wanted to say something, but this Ranga.. told him to keep quiet.. I became alert.. followed them ,for I knew where ever they'll go I'll find Dutta! and now look I found Dutta!.. Dutta with a gun to his head, says firmly.. bhola, you take the villagers, and Ranga, and go back! I have some pending business to sort out with this man! but Bhola protest, that I will not leave you alone Dutta Bhau both these men have guns in their hands.. and Dutta replies firmly, Bhola I promised Mahadev that I will bring back the villagers so take them back ! and they all leave..
Dutta breathes a sigh of relief and he pulls the looped rope around his palm and says, it's a good thing you have come Chaskar! I can't tell you how ecstatic I am to hear your voice.. today you didn't back stab! and Chaskar replies.. nope! I didn't, because today I wanted to see what's so special about you! that Chaskar's chandni fell for you? that Chanda she kept you hidden from me.. otherwise I would have killed you there and then at the brothel! and he pulls his gun.. while Dutta stretches the rope with a snide smile.. my Chanda gave you her heart.. now I'll pull out that heart and scrape it clean with my knife! and Dutta grinds his jaw with a dangerously.. hey Chaskar! test the strength of the arms! or fire a shot! but whatever you do , do it fast! and his eyes sparkle for action.. with a smile.. Chaskar says, he's gone mad! hey Dutta Bhau! I'll see how much strength your arms hold! heard a lot about you.. thing is you're going to die regardless.. but before you die I want to tell you a story..look.. both of us had a compromise.. meaning friendship .. meaning giving the word! Chaskar never betrays one he gives his word too! I had no malice in my heart against you.. but in the meanwhile a woman came between us..FB..kala .. she bribed me.. told me she'll make me Bhau of Patil Vadi..and all I would have to do is kill Dutta Bhau! that's what she said.. you know who that woman is? your sister Dutta Bhau! i.e Kala Tai! I've yet to meet another deceitful woman like her! but she cheated me too ,she'll make me Bhau!.. I lost my senses.. become greedy to become Bhau! she bought me..I decided I would kill you! and now I'll pack you in a box and dispatch you off from here! and then starts the fight Dutta , Chaskar and phattu! Dutta spins around whipping and lashing both men and Chaskar enjoys fighting a blind Dutta! ducks Dutta's lashes.. Dutta is hurled against drums by Chaskar! Dutta picks up a drum and hurls it at Chaskar but it hits phattu! and Chaskar boxes Dutta's face.. but Dutta grabs his arm ,knees him and bashes Chaskar's back against the pillar and than bashes him ,hurls him on cratres and punches him.. phattu comes running to defend Chaskar and Dutta digs his fingers in the running phattu's face. ..then bashes them together. and then punches them both on the ground .. Chaskar pulls out his gun at Dutta.. and Dutta stretches his arms sideways as Chaskar places the gun on Dutta's forehead.. Dutta swiftly grabs Chaskar's wrists and fires the gun up in the air! then it falls out of chaskars hand an Dutta catches it and points it at Chaskar!..glares at Chaskar.. has FB's of Chaskar, first meeting in warehouse ..recalls by shot by Chaskar's men, his car plunging into the valley, Chaskar telling Seema he killed Dutta Bhau! Dutta eyes burn with revenge and rage! and he roars at Chaskar.. you stole the diamonds! I forgave you!.. but this time you betrayed my trust! I will not forgive you! look at your death.. in my face! look at it ! and Dutta shots Chaskar straight in the heart...and Chaskar drops dead on the floor.. and Dutta holds up the gun and looks down in hatred.. phattu tries to run and Dutta hears, and fires at phattu in the back too!
Dutta 's face twist in pain his forehead is furrowed..and he sighs ,throws back his head..then brings his face forward..his eyes closed..and he spurns Chaskar's gun on the floor towards's Chaskar's dead body.. and then raises his palms and covers his eyes ..in torment.. moves them .takes a deep breath and turns to leave..
In the village
The villagers wait.. for Dutta to return.. Naku looks for Dutta.. instead.. Bhola returns with the freed villagers, holding Ranga at knife point too. Mahadev stands and calls out Bhau? where's my Bhau? people say ,Bhau has returned.. but no one can see Dutta! Naku looks for Dutta .. while the captives reunite with their family. Naku keeps looking out for Dutta.. Mahadev asks Bhola.. why have you brought this man Ranga back here?where is my Bhau? Bhola tells every one.. it was Dutta Bhau who sent us all back.. he stayed there ,said he has some pending business to sort with Chaskar! ..bhola gives the whole account.. Naku repeats, Chaskar! and Bhola continues. he has some old issue with Chaskar ,and he's capable of taking on Chaskar on his own! all look worried..
Dutta's return..
Finding his way through the trees, the blind Dutta seeks his way home.. comes across bodies of wounded men he had struck earlier.. crossed over them carefully.. Naku in the village has a go at Bhola, Chaskar? and you left him on his own to fight him? you don't realize that Chaskar is such a dangerous man! Dutta retraces his steps.. back to the village.. Naku says Saab! and runs from the village to the woods.. they try to stop her but she runs and runs.. and she finds Dutta ahead.. groping his way ahead.. she cries Saab! and he stops.. his mouth parted and happy.. she runs and he opens his arms wide for her.. and she runstoward's him.. grabs his arms and hugs him tightly...her arms around his shoulders! and he breathes a sigh of relief.. as she sobs on his shoulder and he nearly cries out in pain.. she let's go of him and says, Saab I knew you will win the battle! and Dutta replies sadly... yes this one Naku.. but there's still that one left that has to be fought.. and Naku looks up into his worried face.. confused..episode ends Hamlet53 25.10.14
Superb power packed action episode.. to me Dutta excels in action.. so my personal favourite..
Highlight is Chaskar verifying what Naku told Dutta , about Kala being his greatest enemy.
Setting the villagers free.. and gaining back Bhola's support for his village..
Dutta taking revenge from Chaskar for attempt to murder him.. but at the end of the episode after he kills Chaskar.. there is regret in Dutta for killing yet again.. frustration at his blindness and also that he has yet to kill again.. someone close to him.
