Hey Hammie! Sorry for the delay in commenting...
so without further ado, let me get straight to it
Part 8 ~ Out of My Hands
Dutta is more than taken by Naku but is in denial. He's putting up walls and creating a distance between them (ie not wiping her cheek and downplaying her concern for him), and trying to convince himself that there is nothing more than a professional/business relationship...but his constant thoughts about her, the feelings of possibly missing her, and urge to ask her to stay back even though there is no reason for her to, it's all very telling. Then there's the fact that he picks up on cues and though curious gives her space and time to tell him what she will on her own...
I thoroughly enjoyed Baaji and Dutta's conversation. They are the best of friends. Between them anything can be said and it's significance is understood. They have such a great bond and that he doesn't feel the need to hide anything from Baaji or not speak what he truly believes (whether deep down it's not entirely true)
I like that you touch on the mother worrying for a daughter's return and scolding Naku about it. There can be trust, but that is often overlooked by a parent when worry plays into the equation.
Now, you've thrown in a bit about a past that's interfering with allowing Naku to live freely and enjoy what she wants. I'm curious to know what that is...clearly something has them worried...and makes her mother hold Naku back from moving forward...
Well, his focus in creating art concerning her is amazing. He's so completely involved...and lo and behold she's out of his hands...
He's curious about her...and very drawn...he's practically consumed by her...let's see where this is going...
continue soon! Fab UD!
