Episode ~21

Basti [ Naku's home]

Episode continues from the point where Morey grabs Naku inside the house... now... with his arm around her shoulders tightly, he requests her politely, come on, come on let's go Nakusha ji.. since she refuses to budge annoyed he scolds her come on!. Frightened of his filthy motives Naku cries in fright as Ganpat continues to beg Morey, let her go sahab!

Fed up of their complains and fussing he forcibly takes her out and when Ganpat tries to interfere he rebukes him get, out of my way!

Basti [outside Naku's house]

Out he takes Nakuska dressed as a bride before the people.. Ganpat runs behind them yelling, leave her sahab! Morey calls out , brothers , sisters! When I said there is is wedding no one spoke! Now I said wedding cancelled still no one says anything!what can I do? Nakusha ji said, she doesn't want to marry me..Malmal Morey is helpless! this Malmal Morey joins his hands and asks for your pardons! now what else can I do? since Nakusha called off the wedding, all celebrations, dancing, eating drinking are called off!. He closes his arm around Naku and pulls her close to him as she squirms and cringes, as he whispers to her , now since so many people have come what shall we do about them? shall we send them away? Hmmm? He asks her,..sorry everybody please go away! all of you disperse! the wedding is cancelled! he announces. Ganapat is much relieved to hear that. But Malmal carries on his feigned act, Mamal heart's broken!so go!. his constables shout, go back to your homes! and people begin to leave. But Morey takes one look at the vulnerable Nakusha and says, but Morey's heart cannot be broken easily...even though the wedding is cancelled..honeymoon will definitely be there..Naku is horrified and he repeats his intentions, honeymoon will happen for sure! hey! he yells to all , if the wedding is called off so what? come back honey moon will happen come have a look!he shouts.Babi, Ganpat, Mangla wait for what he means.. come every one honey moon will be here!, stop right there! come back! he calls all inviting them to be spectators! He grips a trembling Naku by the arms and stands in a circle where all can see.. Sethji grinds his teeth. Honey moon we will celebrate! if we don't celebrate then what will happen to Morey huh? he asks Nakusha. Then he says to all now look at the honey moon!.Naku begs him sahab please let me go! Babi watches in anger. Morey looks at a pleading Naku and says , how can I let you go before I get hold of you ? let you go hmm? and then suddenly he lets her go and she takes a step back, I'll let you go... look every body I have let her go! then he talks to Naku, hey Nakusha ji.. look every body Nakusha ji's way of showing her love! this is what Morey fell in love with!.Naku cries bitterly, as he grabs hold of her again and says, and she wants me to let her go!huh? now this game will be fun! very interesting, he says.

He turns to look at Babi and pulls a comic face at her , hey aye! you are a very good teacher! very great teacher how she makes the right moves .. and he starts to play his finger tips on Naku's back, on her arm and caresses Naku's arm, before all.. then he says to Babi very good teacher you are.. and Babi looks at him with some intent as he carries on feeling and petting ,Nakusha. Nehin!!!!!!!!!!!!!! suddenly Sethji screams and leaps forwards to bite Morey's hand.. and Morey chuckles as he roughly hurls Sethji across the ground , for all to see!, hey! that naughty brat fell down somebody pick him up! tiny little brat!.. Naku ,Babi cry at the sight of the weeping Sethji ,who is hauled up by kestu and kadam. Kaidu intervenes, sahab leave him he's only a child ,please let him go. Mangla too cries and begs Morey to let Sethji go , as he is a child! . Morey proceeds towards Sethji as he is held by the two constables. Naku falls to her knees before Morey, sahab ! sahab! please let him go she cries out, and Morey looks at Naku 's face and sings... look the sister loves and cares for her brother so much.! Hey! see the bond between the brother and sister!.Naku begs please let my brother go!

Morey replies to her pleading, Nakusha ji says let him go sooo let him go! and the two constables who had raised Sethji above the ground let go and let him drop to the ground.. Serhji cries as he lands on his back!.. Morey moves back with his hands raised up in mock fright.Sethji gets up and runs crying to his sister and hugs her sobs ,tai!tai!. Naku hugs him then quickly lets go of him and pushes him behind her hastily, where Babi stands ..and Sethji clings crying to his mother looking at his sister and weeping bitterly.Morey looks in a demented manner, towards Nakusha ji said leave him so I left him...and he looks at Babi mockingly and says, aye.. ho ho ho..MIL cusses, Naku ji make her understand.. and FIL is silent..hey Ganpat watch how Malmal Morey is going to have his honeymoon!and he slowly turns Naku to face her father... grabs her shoulder and shouts ..watch Morey is going to have his honey moon Ganpat look!.. Morey than scoffs at Babi.. ayeee... and defiantly he presses his lips against the back of Naku's shoulder and neck.. Babi tolerates the public humiliation he was meting out at her daughter , in fact all of them.. patiently , Babi watches and muses.. while Morey carries on with defiling Naku publically. Naku weeps at his every touch..he turns her around the ring of people, him feeling her and her wailing bitterly.. people ,both young and old , married and unmarried ,stand in shock as they look at his progressing desecration and abuse of Naku. The two constables take delight at their boss's abusive deeds. Ganpat, literally pulls his hair in shame, while Babi gets hyped up by the second.. and grindS her teeth as she turns from the scene and leaves.. while Morey kisses the top of Naku's back, passionately.. all watch in regret.

Morey suddenly pulls Naku's pallu off her shoulders, with the view to take further advantage of her, and expose her more to all...Naku cries nooo.. and struggles to keep her pallu , Ganpat weeps bitterly with his mouth in his palm. Sethji weeps at the sight of his sister being defiled..

Suddenly a loud war cry of a scream!! fills the environment!...as with the sun above Morey's head, the shadow of his open mouth and his arghhh! echos out, as something is pierced in his back! by someone! ..all look stunned. Morey pushes Naku forward his back curved backwards! eyes go lopsided and his head spins...and Babi's blood splattered face emerges behind him .. with the chants of jai Durge! Jai Durge ..as Babi's face shows an expression of being avenged! holding a blood stained sickle in her arm, poised to strike again!.Naku looks horrified, Ganpat shocked! Morey realises his assailant and turns to grab her arm.. a fearless Babi raises her sickle again to strike him and she screams like a banshee , as she bends his arm to overcome Morey... amid chants of Jai Durge! , Babi renders a hard push to his back! hurls him forwards! and with a big thud he lands on his back , howling .. his constables try to get hold of her and she screams, back off! all of you! I'll kill all of you right here! brandishing her sickle...I'll cut those who dare to touch us! don't come forward!! Naku sees in disbelief her mother shouting..she screams and then looks at Morey who lies on the floor ,as he raises his head.. you dare to touch my daughter! you demon! and she kicks his side!..Ganpat shouts yes kill him !kill him!..Babi lifts her leg and stamps her foot on Morey's chest! Then she with renewed vigour and anger kicks his sides in! as the spectators cheer her on!.. she stamps on his chest.. brutally, and Naku looks at her mother's wildness..

Kaidu, suggests to his wife Mangla, go take Babi away from here..hurry! go quickly take her away! But Babi carries on hitting Morey, get away from my daughter, don't touch her! she screams and screams as Morey looks up at her hysterical face!

Mangla takes hold of her and says, that's it Babi you have to stop! stop it! Babi is like possessed.. and she screams!! the life out of her self... Mangla warns her, before anything else goes wrong with you, please run away from here... but Babi continues screaming , as Morey looks up at her .. meanwhile, kaidu , persuades Ganpat .. let's go from here Ganpat run! come on!.. both Kaidu and Mangla gather, Babi, Ganpat, Sethji and Naku! ..urging them, let's go! don't delay! Lets go! and they leave .. as the rest of the crowd disperses too.

Morey moans as he sees Naku's family fleeing.. he cries out as his palm claws towards their backs... he becomes disoriented and passes out on the ground..

The family of four run through the uninhabited areas, Babi becomes breathless and Ganpat takes the sickle from her hand and he says looking at it, why did you do this Babi?look at what you did?and he throws it side..

Back at the spot, where Morey lies, his constables shout, get out from here , don't surround him! someone get water! .sahab please get up..the three men pick him up from the ground..

Ganpat , meanwhile continues , you killed Morey? that Morey is an inspector! Now I have no shelter to hide! he'll continue following us .. he'll follow us say's Ganpat.Babi defends what else could I do Ganpat? she's my daughter, I kept her in my womb for nine months, she as only 2 months when I used to carry her to the farm to work..I have seen all her pains and sorrows, how could I leave her with that animal? I couldn't save one daughter how I could I let her die too?

Kaidu who keeps vigil runs back to the hiding family, says..ok Ganpat ,now don't think too much, run away from here, Morey is a policeman, we have trouble whether he is dead or alive...but where will you go?go anywhere but don't return back here! insists Kaidu..

Suddenly Babi shouts, we, we will go to Shirdi! Baba will save us yes! Sai Baba will save us ! YESSS they all agree and, Mangla comes running with a bundle of clothes, she says, Babi , here are some clothes, this is all I could pack in a such a short time!

Babi hugs her and cries, you've done us a great favour.. and Ganpat says , come on babi ,dont delay.. lets run for it! and the family of four runs, as Ganpat shouts kedu look after the house kedu bhai!!

Mangla cries as she sees them running.. may Baba take care of you all.. let's go kdu...

On the run..

The family cuts across the beaten track, each covered with a shawl over their head..they run and finally reach the road. Babi stops for a breather..

Suddenly loud chants sound.. hail Sainath mahraj! Hail Sainath mahraj!.. They all look around as they see a procession approach..Babi, can't believe her eyes and she says, Naku.Sai Baba's palanquin.. we will go in this procession ..their eyes light up with hope..Sethji, Naku fold their hands in thankful prayers..Ganpat says ,Babi lets go!and they join the procession of believers.. some one recognizes Babi, and asks her what was she doing in these parts, Babi replies, dada I'll tell you everything later, too much has happened.. now we only need Baba's support , please help us, hide Naku! the man says definitely, hey hide her in..please help her in..hail Sainath Mahraj! ..Babi offers a prayer of thanks as Naku is hidden away in one of the palanquins..

Basti

Back in the deserted basti, Morey on a cot bed is being tended to by his constables. They sprinkle drops of water to bring him around... he becomes conscious and looks around..and in pain attempts to get up..one of his men say ,don't get up sahab ,you are bleeding profusely..but Morey says, hey! shut up! and sits up on the bed. He looks around and says where have they gone?.. his constable says ,don't know .. and Morey screams, what is wrong! were you all drunk! go and find hem where they are?..he notices some children looking down at him from a balcony and he scolds them, what re you looking at? something funny going on here? get lost! and they run off.. kadam says, he's brought the doctor along, and shouts, hey doctor , come on make it quick!.. after looking the doctor says its a deep wound ,he need to go to hospital..but Morey says give the man his man and get lost doctor!.. and then says satanically... Malmal Morey has only one medication.. NAKUSHA...and he grinds his teeth in rage, Nakusha ji, Morey will definitely avenge this wound... go find her move it! he shouts..

Morey spots Mangla and Kaidu and they decide not to say anything..they both are grabbed ,as they try to run, and taken to Morey..Morey says, quick tell me heir whereabouts? ..they both deny.. then he tells his constable to get their child , and the constable lifts him up ready to drop him on the ground! Mangla begs let my child go I dont know .. and Morey orders drop the child.. and Mangla says I'll tell you... and she takes her son and cries my child..

Morey with an evil smile says.. Nakusha ji...

Back on the road

Morey's police van races down the road and finally catches up with the procession.. slowly drives past it ,notices the small procession and tells his men to stop and the vehicle blocks the procession path.

Morey's door opens, and he steps out.. shouting , hey stop! all of you stop! Babi.. gasps ,Sethji shrinks back.. and Ganpat is shell shocked... Sethji huddles against his mother,.. and Babi says, Morey has come here too?.. Morey calls out, we are looking for a runaway! get in line every body! hey in a line fast!..he orders his me, check all of them .. look properly no one should be missed out... Naku pulls her grey shawl around her face.. Morey shouts, line! line get in a line!

Babi asks Sethji where is babaa?,.. he replies, near the palanquin... aye what will we do? lets runaway.. he says in panic. Babi says no... if we take Naku out of the palanquin, Morey will notice us.. come let's go.. she says..

Morey carries on with his orders.. line, line, get in a line!. he instructs his men to check carefully , underneath the palanquin as well.. he picks on one guy .. hey are you special told you walk in a line! he orders. Check each face! there is a woman with a veil on her face , he orders her, hey heroine , take off your veil , take it off!..she does and he moves down the line..look here as well! he instructs. Babi moves down the line worried..and then she reachs the palanquin,.and whispers, Naku ,hide yourself , hide hide!and she pushes the closes the curtains..her shawl gets stuck..and she pulls it away... as Morey stands next to the palanquin.. musing..Naku watches him outside her palanquin and she is in shock.. episode ends. Precap: Morey yells , hey stop the palanquin! what? who is in there? the man replies, its the neighbour's family sahab, an old mother.. Morey replies, old woman! then why are you making her travel so much?

The man replies, sahab,it's because she is sick, we are taking her to visit, Baba.. Morey goes closer to he curtains and looks through the lacy material.. Naku and Babi with shawls on their heads duck down..
