Vintage Update: 31st May & 1st June

Hello LTLians 🤗
It me back again with the updates...hope you read and like it.

Scenes 1, 2 and 3

The episode starts with Naku entering the lion's den with her green trunk. The room is a proof of Dutta's destructive fury and is screaming from everywhere "Welcome to hell". Undeterred Naku keeps Bappa's idol and asks for his blessings.

Kishore comes in and tells Naku that he knows that she is only capable of thinking only good for everyone and is not the real culprit but he is unable to help her prove her innocence. He remembers Kala's threat to him regarding Anay. I fail to understand how Kala could do that to her own son ???Also Kisser boy and Kala's marriage is still a mystery to me...each the antithesis of the other.

Naku goes about cleaning the room and talking to herself about how Dutta is a Devata and like the sun that gives light and life to the people around him. She finds his gun underneath his pillow, turns only to see a fuming blood splattered Dutta standing at the door..like Lucifer, the fallen angel!

Scene 4: Enter Dutta Shreeram Patil

Naku trembling holds the gun in her hands as Dutta approaches with measured steps...Silent but controlled cold rage pouring out of his every pore. No words are required to convey anger brilliant portrayal by Mishal as Dutta is full fury...flawless look, walk, expression and body language.

Naku drops the gun and DSP slowly picks it up without so much as taking his eyes of her .Dutta must be exceptionally trained to know where exactly the gun has fallen just by hearing thud! Ani and all the Diwanees look out for HIS hands. The revolver definitely looks good and fits with ease in Dutta's perfect hands

Dutta with droplets of blood splattered on his face, holding the gun in his hand, asks Naku why is she scared of a mere gun when she is capable of planting a bombs in cars, playing with big games people's lives and "Jasbaath" (yet somewhere lurks DSP's pain and disbelief that Naku, his friend is a dhokhebaaz. ) Mishal brings out anger and sarcasm brilliantly in his tone. MV as koel naku does a good job with her expressions as she doesn't have a single dialogue in this scene.

Climax of this Friday episode is Dutta roughly holding Naku and humiliating her by saying that she now with sindoor in her maang and mangalsutra around her neck still she has not managed to get Dutta at her beck and call...so her next thought will be about celebrating suhaag raat. But her dreams will always remain unfulfilled.

The episode begins with Dutta telling Naku that this is not a marriage but a Sazaa that Dutta has pronounced for Naku ...pause..and Himself. The spilt second eye shut by Dutta/MR conveys more than words. Anyone who errs in Dutta's Raj is punished even if the offender is Dutta himself. Naku for betraying and Dutta, for his error of judgment; considering naku a friend and for making the mistake of loving Sups...because Dhoka and Love are synonymous. Dutta's torment and humiliation is palpable...here my heart goes out for the self-destructive, self-depreciating Dutta Shreeram Patil.

Dutta's reason for marrying Naku is a reminder to himself to never to make the mistake of falling in love again. Naku stoically bearing the brunt of the insult, asks him to take her life instead of punishing himself. However DSP wants this marriage to be a living hell for Naku (and himself ) as death is too easy a way out! Living with Dutta like a "Zinda Laash"! Does he consider himself to be the living dead? My answer would be affirmative.

The scene shifts with Dutta on the sofa, eyes closed. Naku sees the blood on his hand and slowly moves towards DSP. He wakes up with a start. (Please don't miss the way he leaps like a panther at Naku.) Naku tells him that there is blood on his hands and face that require cleaning. He tells her to stop this drama as it will not melt him in anyway. Why is she so worried about someone else's blood on him? What about him bleeding profusely from inside? The wound inflicted by her that will never heal! Because he will never let it heal as it is a reminder of her dhoka and the punishment she deserves. Somewhere Dutta is grudgingly astonished that Naku is neither scared of death nor any sort of punishment.

Baaji comes to Dutta as he is worried that he had gone alone to meet Anna. Naku is in the background, listening. Dutta tells him that the informer is someone from the house. "ghar ka bhedi lanka dhaye" Baaji gets agitated and wants to know the who the culprit is so that he can kill him. Dutta says not required because from now on Dutta will not sunayo mauth ka sazaa for any dhokebaaz but something worse, bhayanak... "mar-mar ke jeena" he will beg, not for life but for death"

Precap: Dutta storms out of the house dragging Naku with him and speeds in his Landover into the jungle.

There is a scene in this episode where Dutta gets up menancingly and Naku gets scared and sits down at the same time. It is wonderfully timed. I wish we knew while shooting it they had to practice it or it came naturally.
