i have never seen such a sweet, strong and subtle potrayal of mother- son duo ever on screen. not in cinema and certainly not in tv land..
Mishal just lived there.
everytime dutta felt a strong emotion he would reach out for AS lap. and she was always there for him.
Mishal was his vulnerable best there. Beautiful potrayal of that childlike vulnerability. i cannot imagine anyone acting the way he did. that voice modulations, the lone tear, the lost child..
brilliant will be an understatement..
and haa about the WU and NRD shouting at AS.
the dutta we knew would have personally ripped off anyone who so much as rose his voice against his AS.
the AS we knew would have sent Baaji to scratch the eyes of the man who looked at Naku forget getting her remarried.
Dutta would rant and rave at the whole world never at AS. mishal made us believe that for him his aai is sacred.
and AS loved him above all more than her own kids. she would never give that place to anyone else.
the way Mishal lived in those scenes.. u could cry for him, feel good when he is at peace...
and believe him totally..
he just lived.
