The writer is completing the jigsaw for us with each passing episode. Every scene seems to be a part of the bigger picture. Its like you see a musician weave a symphony. A symphony where the various raagas go hand in hand that express love, hatered, deceit, faith, anger, loss and triumph to name a few. What emerges is a soulful composition 👏😍and it gets difficult for me to find words to praise it everytime. Wish we could watch it onscreen😔

I am saying it again ---Millions should have watched this. What an irony that a few unlucky ones did not see what we 200 saw...but as they say 'Bandar kya jaane adrak ka swad'.

In the course of my work I have interacted with many women who we call sex workers. Have seen them up close, known them personally. Thats why, when this track started to take shape I wanted it to go deep into the seriousness of the issue. I know thats not possible, as LTL has its own flow. But seeing Dutta's inner turmoil, his remorse, his utter loathing of men involved in this business, I was deeply moved. Because in reality, even if people share Dutta's loathing, they don't have the courage to stand up, let alone wage a war against the flesh trade single (Baji included) handedly...

I

Moontide. -----We just get lost in our schedules and ignore such poignant issues. Thanks so much for sharing your experience. Its ironic that a so called issue based channel did not see an issue in women trafficking. These episodes would have generated so much awareness.

So Dutta had unwittingly been a part of women trafficking. Aww! Ever since that he has been trying to make amends atleast to the people under his sphere of influence.
BB thanks a lot for your efforts for bringing us the original story of LTL. Even if the channel had not decided to go with the the current track on air I am not sure if we would have ever got some of the answers to the mystery that is Dutta Shreeram Patil.

Very well said, Ships. 👍🏼 Nice analogy there with the musical composition thing. LTL is indeed like a musical composition...there is the mood and the emotions that it evokes and then there is the mood and the emotions felt by the audience...and when both these things get synchronized, it really shakes you up. Helps you question things, beliefs...and that is what I LOVE about this show...there is so much to learn from it, something not seen in majority of the shows on Indian television presently because they are too busy showing "HAWT" stuff or churning out nonsensical garbage.
And it really is unfortunate that we won't be able to see this phase on tv because of obvious reasons...quite a pity...a channel proclaiming to bring "women issues" to the forefront via their shows has MISSED this amazing opportunity where there was really an ACTUAL issue related to women and the message could have been passed on to the crores watching the show. Truly sad indeed ! *shakes head*

In bold: Exactly Ships! This is like our LTL..the writers have the big picture in mind and KNOW where they should go and when and where exactly they must stop. I am so glad we are getting this story atleast in written form. Who knows if we would have ever got this back story even if Mishal would have stayed on. Somehow this thought dulls the pain of the current state of LTL.

Param,
@ bold 1 -- you are so very right. I haven't watched any other Indian show in years.
@bold 2 - Word!! look at the treatment the writer has given to the issue here. Its not over the top, not written to garner TRPs rather it so very blends with storyline of both the leads. We knew how Naku and her family's destiny got affected due to this issue and now we know that Dutta was hit hard too. What a smooth blend and how intricately woven. This is bound to touch chords with millions of hears, it can't leave you unaffected,it makes you think and the TRPs would have followed naturally.

Just imagine Shreya it has come to this...this is what we think of the channel...we have not an iota of faith left in them...they had a classic in hand but did not know how to value it. -Ships

WORD, Ships...these two have been through SO much and in a way their struggles are similar to quite an extent. Exactly what makes them PERFECT for each other...because these two UNDERSTAND each other's pain like no one else would have. The reason Nakku is with him is because she recognized his pain, grasped it and provided the right marham of LOVE to heal his wounds. The reason he is with her because he treasured her inner beauty, gave her respect, something a woman yearns from her man in a relationship. This jodi is truly made in heaven to be one with each other. And the uniqueness of the show is definitely credit to the writers for valuing simplicity among all...no over the top need for creating drama...the focus on the depiction of reality has been their invaluable treasure in the form of LTL.

Just an amazing episode...I felt the same agony, numbness that I felt when I had watched the episodes when Dutta had narrated the Seema betrayal story. I could visualize Dutta & Baaji in that same avatar...

I am loss for words (***yeah yeah Ruby is loss for words - hard to believe😆😆***)...not only did I read a mind blowing episode but 16 pages of thought provoking analysis by my fellow Ltlian friends.👏👏👏👏 - You all are amazing.

A very heart wrenching write up, Moontide😭 Commercial sex workers are considered vile & worst than city muck but my mom says they are to be seen with only compassion & society ought to be grateful to them.Coz they are the ones who put their life on risk to keep the animals of this world entertained & in the process keep the girls & young children from being preyed upon. It is a worst ever life any woman could have the misfortune to fall into. Especially those who are forcibly taken away from otherwise decent homes.
Kudos to the team for tackling such a burning issue. How I was waiting for all this to be screened in the show at some point. The Patilwadi don bringing those involved in the racket out & blasting them away to smithereens.Guess it will never happen now.
