OMG! Flop Show! Okie, this has to be height of coincidence....Last month, I started searching for all my fav old shows....The top most was Kashish, but I didnt find the videos...I wish someone would upload it...It had just 13 episodes but what an impact!!!

Then I found Flop show and I also found shrimaan shrimati...My dad was crazy about the guy who potrayed Shrimaan! Enjoying the shows right now....I am searching for Karamchand now 😉

Now that LTL is over for literally all of us, with Dutta's exit, we shld shift our base to a new show...

Shreya, Do tell me other new shows that might be appealing because I have been on and off from the television world lately and am clueless on whats happening right now...Before tht need to catch up on LTL, post FR!! Phew! 😛

Any ways, I have two recommendations for you. Watch or read Umera Ahmed ( she's writes in urdu). She wrote two serials specially for TV that were directed by very smart director, deep stuff. Check for

1) Wujood e Laraib &
2) Malaal

Yes in All is Well, the forum I run with my friends, one of the members highly recommends Umera Ahmed, she normally writes regarding girls issues and heroines are very self respecting women...

Somehow shows on YT are not a good option in India with the broad band speeds. Anyways if anyone has the taste for it they must watch Japanese Anime series...many of them are pretty good. You can start with Death Note...but better start with some time on hand as if you start one you will not be able to stop.

I would anytime recommend Umera Ahmed's shows...I do catch up on Pak shows becasue one thing I like about them is they are short n stick to the theme....My favs are Meri Zaat Zara e Benishan and Dhoop Kinarey...Can watch them again n again...and Its much recommended....I have seen malaal and liked it...will catch on Wujood....just finished watching Qaid-e-Tanhai...It was nice but I have loads of point of debate from it.

@Tintin: Agreed...I wouldnt even watch LTL if the story is not on the eternal pair...no matter what the channel tries to publicize, no matter what their intention was, end of the day, the story turned out to be the eternal love story of two deep characters and any deviation from that is a simple suicide....Let them be suicidal!!

Dhoop Kinaray was too good and Tanhaiyan that was another genre. I was a carbon copy of what Marina khan use to do just that my mom never allowed me to keep her hairstyle :D I had full time crush on Rahat Kazmi the male lead though he's my dad's age :) but he has a style and still carries that. I still remember the thunder of tanhiyaan's OST was enough to alert me though I was a small kid. My family in UK used to call me Saniya and i nailed a cousin of my as Qabacha. *Sigh* Charming time of life

I was never inspired by a female writer of my own Country but when I read Pir e Kamil by Umaira I could relate to the female lead. We were both in the search of same end. My eyes just couldn't control the pain of text.

U shld have got Marina Khan's DK hair style...It was so funky and tht is what attracted me to the show first...A bubbly, care free gal, with smart looks...and then Rahat Kazmi, a doctor, totally poles apart from this jovial gal...and then love happened! it was a simple cute LS!!!!

I don't think so, it has a certain element that might not be allowed on screen I guess here in Pakistan. The heroin changed her faith and leave her home as she was no longer one of them.

I see if i could find a translation but the original text is always more powerful.

I just had a feeling that I linked to LTL because it has Pir e Kamil's touch. LTL was the only thing I was watching on TV. I could see some on the relationship and sacrifice concepts on screen that people think are not real but they used to exist in generation before mine's
