Thank you everyone for the feedback. Here is the next part. I had a video included to help you visualize the scene better, but I can't post it. I apologize for that. Once again, all comments will be appreciated.

The next couple weeks, Dutta and Naku rarely saw each other for more than five minutes. She would occasionally come to talk to Kaka Babu but refused to acknowledge Dutta's presence. The more Dutta interacted with Kaka Babu's men and associates; he learned that Naku and Baji had made a place for themselves. Baji always came off as a loyal and intelligent man. It was surprising that a woman managed to earn the respect some of the dangerous men in the country. Her opinions were considered heavily and her decisions were followed with the upmost regard. Many of the mobsters feared her immensely; it was sort of an unsaid rule—you did not want to get onto Nakusha's bad side. She had zero tolerance for indiscipline and inappropriate actions. Although she was feared by man, she was loved by many more. The men would do anything to protect her. She had done so much for them and their families along with several unfortunate innocents. Just like Dutta, Naku was loved and worshipped by many people.

One day after a tedious meeting with Kaka Babu, Dutta joined him for dinner. Kaki Ma wasn't in town, so Kaka Babu asked for Dutta's company. Dutta waited for the Kaka Babu to freshen up and join him at the dinner table. In the meantime, Kaya came out with the dinner and started setting up the table. Dutta felt bad that he never introduced himself to Kaya.

Dutta: The food smells delicious. Did you make it?

Kaya timidly gave a nod.

Kaya: Sometimes the servants have to leave early, so I just make the dinner. It keeps me busy until Naku di and Baji come home.

Dutta: I never got a chance to congratulate you on your marriage. Baji is a good man, please keep him happy.

Kaya: He's an amazing husband…I am so fortunate to have him in my life. And Naku di is so sweet…she never makes me feel like I am not her biological sister. She takes really good care of me.

Dutta [mumbles to himself]: she's always like that

Kaya: Did you say something?

Dutta: No…nothing.

Kaka Babu had joined Dutta, and Kaya served her dinner. Right then, Baji entered.

Kaka Babu: Baji…you're home early. Join us.

Baji: We finished everything early. I was hoping if I can take Kaya out to dinner.

Kaka Babu [smiled]: Sure…you two need some time alone. Where is Naku?

Baji: She entered the kitchen from the back entrance. She said she'll make the rotis, since she knew that it would be on Kaya's mind.

Baji and Kaya left. A few moments later, Naku entered with a plate full of warm roti. After a long time, Dutta saw Naku in a blue salwar kameez. Ever since she rescued him, he's only seen her in boots, jeans, tank top, with her classic black leather jacket.

Kaka Babu: Naku, why don't you eat with us as well? The food is ready.

Naku: Kaka Babu…I'm really not hungry.

Kaka Babu: Nonsense…I'm pretty sure you didn't eat anything the whole day, right? [Naku bends her head down]. Naku, it is good to work, but don't work to an extent that it starts taking a toll on your body. Your Kaki ma was telling me that you don't eat properly and evidently you have lost quite a bit of weight. I'm not going to listen to any excuses. You are going to sit in front of me and eat.

When Kaka Babu had mentioned it, Dutta took a closer look at Naku. She had clearly lost a lot of weight—as if she wasn't tiny to begin with. She even looks much paler and you can clearly see that she rarely gets any sleep. Deep down, seeing her like this hurt Dutta. Naku took a seat opposite from Dutta, and helped herself to dinner. Dutta noticed that she had taken a small portion of everything, and he really wanted to admonish her and stuff her plate. Kaka Babu begin talking to Dutta about work. He pretended to pay attention but he constantly found himself looking at Naku, making sure that she was eating properly.

The three were so engaged in their activities that they did not notice a man enter the house.

Man: Guess I came at the right time

The three turned towards the entrance of the house, where a middle aged man stood there smiling. Naku immediately got up from her seat and ran towards the man an embraced him.

Naku: Ali Mamu, you are back!

Ali Mamu: Of course…and how is my little girl doing?

Naku: Just fine and kicking some butt

Ali Mamu then went up to Kaka Babu and gave him a strong embrace.

Ali Mamu: How are you bhai?

Kaka Babu: Better, now that you are back….Dutta this is Ali. He looks over my entire business. Just think of him as my little brother.

Ali Mamu: Dutta Bhao…I've heard quite a bit about you. Nice to meet you.

Dutta: Same here.

Ali Mamu: Anyways, I'm famished. Is there room for one more?

Kaka Babu: Of course.

For the rest of dinner, Ali did most of the talking. He explained what he had accomplished at his recent meetings. Dutta, in the meantime, secretly observed Naku. For the first time, he saw a genuine smile on her face. He could tell that the two shared a strong bond—as if Ali Mamu was her father. Dutta could understand her attachment; after all, Ganpat was anything but a good father. That's when it hit Dutta—he hadn't seen or heard of Naku's parents or her brother. It was strange that he's been to Kaka Babu's house several times and Naku lives in the outhouse, yet he hadn't caught a glimpse of Babi, Ganpat, or Sethji. Dutta figured that they probably were angry with him and were intentionally avoiding him.

After dinner, Naku and Ali Mamu left to go to the outhouse. An hour later, Dutta took his leave. He was at his jeep when he saw the lights of the outhouse on. He decided that he might as well greet Naku's parents even if they didn't want to see his face. He headed towards the outhouse and spotted Ali Mamu and Naku in the front lawn talking.

Ali Mamu: Have you told Dutta?

Upon mentioning of his name, Dutta hid behind a tree nearby.

Naku: There is nothing to tell him

Ali: You should tell him the truth. He is your husband.

Naku: No he is not! He is not my husband. I do not want anything to do with that man…it's painful enough that I have to see him.

Ali: Precisely, he deserves to know that he is responsible for your current state…he should be aware of what you had to suffer because of him.

Naku: Even if he does find out, will it change anything? Will it bring back what I have lost? He doubted my relationship with Baji. After finding out that Baji has been nothing more than a brother to me and I love his wife dearly, did he even try to apologize? Forget about me, but what about Baji? The truth is that people don't betray him…he just trusts the wrong people and doesn't show any faith to those that are loyal to him. He was right about one thing…one should never fall in love…it only gives you pain. I loved him more than anything, and that love ended up killing me alive. There is nothing left between us. Please, Ali Mamu don't ever ask me this question again.

Naku's little outburst left her in tears. Ali comforted her like a father and guided her inside the house. At the same time, a confused Dutta dragged his feet to his jeep. Part of him wanted to go to Naku and find out what why she hates him so much, but she was right—he had lost that right a long time ago.

After overhearing, Naku and Ali Mamu's conversation, Dutta made a sincere effort to avoid her. He knew that his presence bothered her, so he tried not to disturb any further. He also tried to mend his relationship with Baji. He went to Baji and asked for his forgiveness, but Baji just dismissed the whole conversation by saying that there was no need for it. For the first time, Dutta felt lonely. He lost his best friend. He realized that he took Baji for granted. Baji would always take care of his problems, but now Baji does not even react to his distress. What bothered him the most was that Naku despised him for something other than kicking her out of the house. He knew that she was hiding something from him and it had to do with why she hated him so much.

After taking care of some work, Dutta returned home to find his family tensed. As soon as she caught sight of her son, Aayi Saheb ran to her son with tears in her eyes.

Dutta: Aayi, what happened?

Aayi Saheb continued crying. She was trying to tell him something, but the words weren't leaving her mouth.

Dutta: What happened Kishore?

Kishore: Vikrant's men kidnapped Madhu…they sent a letter asking that you meet him alone.

Dutta grabbed the note out of Kishore's hand. Vikrant had given Dutta an hour to arrive at the factory where he was originally taken.

Dutta: Kishore, Sudharshan…take care of everyone. No one is going to follow me.

Dutta stormed off to get his little sister. He arrived at the site way before his time was about to run out. Upon his arrival, Vikrant's men direct Dutta inside where he saw Madhu tied to a pillar. The men tied him to the a pillar next to it.

Dutta: Madhu, are you okay?

Madhu: Yes, bhai.

Dutta: Don't worry. I'll get us out of here…

Vikrant: Don't lie, Dutta. It's bad for your health.

Vikrant was a young man about Dutta's age, who could easily come off as a corporate man with his black suit and name brand watch. He had been trying to establish his territory in the area, but Dutta was making it difficult for him.

Vikrant: I don't think we have officially met. I'm Vikrant, your rival.

Dutta: You are going to pay for getting my sister involved.

Vikrant [gives an evil chuckle]: I guess people were right…you are defensive about your family. My mistake, I thought you could care less what happens to your loved ones, especially after what I did to your wife.

Dutta couldn't make any sense of what Vikrant was saying, which Vikrant caught on immediately.

Vikrant: Oh, I'm sorry. I thought you knew…oh wait, that pretty wife of yours hates you.

Upon hearing Vikrant mention Naku, Dutta instinctively tried to grab Vikrant's throat, but his hands were tied.

Vikrant: I guess I have to take credit for that…you see, after you kicked her out, my men took her and her family hostage. My man put the best offer in front of her. He offered her a place to live, money, etc. All she had to do was tell us everything about you. After she declined the generous offer, my man had no choice but to torture her. They beat her like savages, but she stood loyal to you. I'm sure the marks from the thrashing her still on her body. When we couldn't break her, we shot both of her parents right in front of her eyes. Poor thing was shattered. We were about to shoot her brother, when that friend of yours and dear old Ali Mamu arrived to rescue her. It's unfortunate that they didn't come soon enough. I mean Babi and Ganpat were already dead…Sethji was accidentally shot and landed in a coma…as for Naku, well…

Vikrant didn't finish his sentence. Instead he walked towards a barrier and signaled his men to remove it. Once the barrier had been lifted, Dutta found Naku tied to two chains coming from the ceiling.

Vikrant: Hi Naku! I've heard that you've been trying to hunt me down. Oh Dutta, I forgot to tell you. Every time I would plot something against you, this lovely lady would ruin my plans. She's been protecting for the last six months. I'm impressed, Ali Mamu has trained you well.

Naku: You are going to pay for this

Vikrant: Maybe you haven't noticed, you are the one that is taken hostage, and your dear husband is tied up too. He can't save you just like last time. My men told me that you kept on crying his name, but no luck. Sorry sweetheart, but no one can save you now.

Naku: Don't be so sure and worry about saving yourself because I am going to hunt you down.

Vikrant: You've become so rude…you need a lesson.

Vikrant grabbed a thick wooden stick and started beating Naku with it. With every blow, Dutta's blood would boil even further.

Dutta: Vikrant…LEAVE HER!

Vikrant paid no attention. He continued to hit Naku, who didn't seem to be affected by the pain. Just then, the whole factory began to shake. Someone had planted a bomb and blew up the top floor. The ceiling to which Naku was tied began to crack. She immediately applied her weight on the chains and detached them from the ceiling. Vikrant immediately fled, and ordered his men to kill Dutta, Madhu, and Naku.

Dutta had managed to untie himself and was about to free Madhu, when the men held him at gunpoint. One of the men was about to pull the trigger, when Baji drove in and shot all the men down.

Naku had knocked two of the men down and removed the shackles. She then beat the remaining men one by one.

Baji: Naku, hurry up…the building is starting to collapse.

Naku finished knocking out the last man and jumped into the jeep in the passenger seat. By then, Dutta and Madhu were in the back. Baji raced the jeep out in time because a few seconds later another bomb went off, bringing the whole building down.

Naku: Baji, take the care home. I need to see Sethji.

Baji: Naku relax. Kaya is with him.

Naku: I need to see him!

Baji didn't argue any further and increased his speed. Dutta saw the worry in her eyes…he saw fear in her eyes. As soon as they were in front of the outhouse, Naku stormed into the house. Dutta and Madhu followed Baji into the house. He immediately headed towards a bedroom on the ground floor. Dutta slowly followed the same path. Something told him that he did not want to see what was inside the room, but he still continued to walk towards it. When arrived at the entrance, he saw Naku sitting on chair next a bed. When he took a few steps closer to her, he saw a comatose Sethji on the bed and Naku was holding his hand. For a moment, Dutta felt as if his heart stopped for a brief moment. He wasn't over this shock when Madhu directed his attention to a wall, where Ganpat and Babi's sketches were with a garland around it.

After Dutta got a hold of himself, he returned his attention to Nakusha. By then, Ali Mamu was leaning down in front of her and injecting something into her arm. Within a few minutes, Naku lost conscious. Baji carried her to another room and Dutta blindly followed him. Baji placed Naku on the bed, and Kaya tucked her in. When Baji turned around, he found Dutta staring at Naku.

Baji: She was in a state of shock. She was scared that Vikrant would hurt Sethji. We had to sedate her to calm her down.

Dutta felt suffocated in that room. He stormed out of the house and into the front lawn. By the time he was outside, he was gasping for air. Madhu followed her brother and calmed him down.

Madhu: Bhai, you need to get a grip of yourself. Come on, let's go talk to Kaka Babu.

Madhu dragged Dutta to the house, where Kaka Babu was waiting patiently in the main room. After settling himself down and processing everything, Dutta finally spoke.

Dutta: Is that why she hates me…Vikrant killed her parents because of me…it's my fault that Sethji is like this, isn't it?

Kaka Babu: Dutta…Naku trusted you more than anyone. She trusted that you wouldn't let anything happen to her or her family. When Vikrant murdered her parents, she needed you the most. She was in a terrible state when we found her. She might have been dead, if Baji hadn't come to me to help find her. You were Vikrant's hostage for a few hours and you got a glimpse of what a vicious animal he can be. He held Naku hostage for about a week.

Dutta: Why didn't anyone tell me?

Kaka Babu: When Naku and her family went missing, Baji came to your house to get help, but Kalavati wouldn't let him speak. She wouldn't let him get through the gate. Fortunately, Baji ran into Ali and came to me for help. After we got Naku and Sethji out of there, Naku explained to me what happened between the two of you. At that time, I wanted to come and give you a good beating myself for doubting a wife like Naku. However, Naku stopped me. By then she had decided that she did not want to rely on anyone else to protect her or her brother. That's when, Ali started training her and she soon joined my business. After making a place for herself in our world, she began her search for Vikrant. She knew he would try to attack you, so she kept an eye on you. Vikrant wasn't able to get to you because Naku was being your shield. That is why he kidnapped Madhu and then tied Naku up when she tried to rescue Madu. I know that many women have betrayed, but only one woman has loved you unconditionally. It's a pity that you never respected that love.

After learning the truth, Dutta was in no state to drive back home. Kaka Babu's driver dropped him and Madhu off at Patil residence. When they first entered, everyone gathered around Madhu to make sure that she was okay, while Dutta mindlessly walked towards his room.

Kishore: Madhu, what's wrong with Bhao?

Madhu, who had been strong for her brother until now, broke down in her mother's arms. After calming her down, she disclosed the new information they had learned from Kaka Babu. For a split second, even Kalavati, Leelavati, and Roop felt bad for Nakusha: they completely understand the pain of having a parent murdered in front of you. Aayi Saheb shed tears for losing a dear friend like Babi.

Aayi Saheb: This is my fault…I should have stopped. If they were in this house, none of this would have happened.

Kishore [with a heavy heart]: Aayi Saheb, Naku has been wronged in probably the cruelest way because of us. We can't bring back what she lost, but we need to hold it together and take care of her and Sethji. First of all, Dutta Bhao needs to get a hold of himself and start making amends.

Aayi Saheb agreed with Kishore and headed towards her son's room. When she entered, she found him sitting on the floor, leaning against the bed, with Naku's picture in his hand. She quietly sat on the bed beside him, allowing him to put his head on her lap. For a few moments, Aayi caressed her son's head, waiting for him to open up to her.

Dutta: Why do I always lose people who love me? Her love was untainted, but I couldn't see it. Whoever, loves me, ends up losing everything. You loved me, but lost your husband. Naku loved me and lost her parents. I'm a curse for my loved ones

Aayi: Don't say that. You have always been a blessing to me.

Dutta: How am I going to face her? I struggled to talk to you eye to eye when I found out that your husband died trying to save me. I don't know how I am going to look at Naku, knowing that I am responsible for this state of hers.

Aayi: I won't lie, Dutta. There is no forgiveness for what happened to Naku, and all of us are to blame for it. The only thing we can do is look after Sethji and Naku, so Ganpat and Babi's soul can rest in peace. This is not the time for you to break down. [Aayi lifts Dutta's head so she can look into his eyes]. You need to be stronger than before. It is your responsibility that no harm comes to Naku or her family. Promise me that you will not let her fight alone…promise me that you will thwart any evil move made against her.

Dutta gave Aayi a firm and determined nod, putting her mind at ease. He then embraced his mother tightly and began weeping hysterically.

Aayi: Cry it out son…cry out all your pain tonight; tomorrow you will have to shield someone else from pain.

For the rest of the night, Dutta wept for his mistakes and his love, while his mother tried her best to help him cope with it. Madhu sat right outside of Dutta's room and helpless listened to her brother weep. Kishore sat by the temple, trying to come to terms with all that has happened.

In the meantime, Kalavati, Leelavati, Roop, and Sudharshan were in Kala's room discussing their upcoming plans.

Roop: For the first time, I felt bad for Naku

Kala: I have to agree with you. After all, we saw our father die because of Dutta.

Sudharshan: That's all sweet and touching, but what are we going to do now. All our efforts to separate Naku from Bhao are going to waste. Now Bhao won't let anything happen to Naku. In fact, this incident will cause him to blindly trust her…and she has enough power to begin with.

Kala [gives her standard smirk]: Sometimes, I question your intelligence. Have you taken notice of Naku's behavior towards Dutta? There was a time, when she would die for him. Now, if he dares to cross her, she will be the first one to break his neck. It's understandable. She blames Dutta for her parents' death and brother's state. She is never going to love him again. Naku is no longer a threat to us.

Leela: She's right. Even if Bhao tries to reconcile with her, I don't think Naku will give in.

Kala: Precisely…so just relax and enjoy the show. I'll be honest with you-I like this new Naku, especially when she humiliates Dutta Bhao.

The next day, Aayi Saheb insisted on meeting Naku. She and the whole family went to Kaka Babu's house to pay her a visit. Upon their arrival, Ali Mamu directed them to Sethji's bedroom, where a nurse was changing the IV bags. Naku was sitting in a chair. Her legs were on the chair and she had wrapped her arms around them. It hadn't been twenty four hours since Dutta last saw Naku, yet her appearance had changed dramatically. Her face was really pale and eyes were swollen from the lack of sleep and crying. Aayi hesitantly approached Naku and gently placed her hand on Naku's shoulder. Naku flinched instinctively and turned around with fear in her eyes. Ali Mamu stepped behind Aayi Saheb to calm down.

Ali Mamu: Naku, relax…Aayi Saheb is just here to see you.

Upon Ali Mamu's assurance, Naku relaxed a bit. She got up from her seat and directed everyone towards the main room. Aayi Saheb held onto Naku's arm the whole time and lead her to one of the couches, while everyone else settled nearby. Dutta stood in one corner, making sure he didn't get in Naku's way. Kaya and Baji entered the room with tea for everyone, even though no one was in the mood for refreshments. Naku hadn't uttered a single word ever since they had arrived. She just sat staring at the empty space in front of her. Aayi finally decided to break the silence.

Aayi: I wish there was any way for us to make amends for your loss, but there isn't. Your mother was like a sister to me, and I will miss her dearly. From now on, I will pray every day for Sethji to come back to us.

Naku: I really appreciate that.

Aayi: We feel awful for what happened. Dutta will make sure that no harm comes to you or your brother…

Naku: Aayi, please forgive me if I am crossing the line, but I don't want his help. I can take care of myself and my brother.

Aayi: I understand that you are angry with Dutta. I hope you can find it in your heart to forgive him.

Naku: Will it return what I lost?

Aayi Saheb was somewhat taken back by Naku's firm question. It was at that moment, she realized that maybe the Naku they knew was lost forever. She had no answer for Naku's question. She just bent her eyes in shame.

Aayi: If you need anything, let me know.

She placed a gently kiss on Naku's forehead and instructed everyone to head out. After the family had left, Dutta stayed back for a few moments staring the side of Naku's face. Baji and Kaya waited for him to either speak up or leave. Naku didn't even move to look in his direction. She continued to look straight ahead even though she knew Dutta was standing on the side looking at her.

After a few minutes of the stare contest, Dutta headed towards the main door, but before he left, he stopped to say something.

Dutta: What I did was unforgivable, and I don't expect you to forgive me. I just hope you won't hurt yourself for my sins.

yh but i think he's mre confused atm than weak tho n its a lot to take in..meeting baji after such a long time, finding out tht he's married n seeing his wife in such a dif gt up... its a lot 2 tke in...n he's probs tryin 2 figure out hw she has changed so much... bt once the confusion is cleared i wud love 2 c him try wooing naku n winning her back😳😳😳😳😳😳😳

This was an amazing update.. naku's parents shot right in front of her eyes-her brother in a comatose state no wonder she hates Dutta with every being in her. I am hating this Vikrant character by the min. DUtta trying to make amends to what happened to naku- is so touching., I like that he is going to be her shield now, instead of the other way around.

I love the strong-willed naku..trying to hold it together for her brother. SUperb dear:)

Baabi and Ganpat dead..............Sethji in coma...............no wonder she had bcum a sherni..............She luvs him till date but has lost faith in him ..........and also she dont want to lose anyone close to her by relying on anybody..............That Vikrant😡..........he is going t hav the hell of time .........
