LTL's shocking epi: Who's responsible? - Page 2

I agree with ksh wrt Naku's dance. It was nothing like what I had feared. Anyway, I think there must have been some problem behind the scenes...may be the sudden appearance of the back-up director in the titles has something to do with it. I hope LTL finds a permanent solution to their director woes. And like many have pointed out the party seemed completely out of the blue and forced. I'll have to blame the writers here.

I agree with DD about the dance....while the moves weren't vulgar or anything thankfully, MV's performance was quite below-par in that portion.....extremely blank and she looked loopy and odd the way she was staring at Dutta unblinkingly while doing her dance moves....lol....maybe the bad editing made it worse...dunno.....but it wasn't well performed either....the synchronized dancing in a supposedly "drunk" state made it even more unbelievable....lol.....the entire last 5 minutes of the epi were the worst.....random and abrupt.

i agree..with kshreya that yesterdays epi would turn offf new or irregular viewers who tune in after the publicity...hope they can salvage the situation.

I think the editors might have messed up---big time. Either it's a glitch on account of the repeated scenes or the incoherence during the party itself which is the problem that made the entire episode seem badly patched. If not them, surely the writers, who failed at putting together a proper build up to the whole setting and situation, character behaviour, etc. I think it's a bit of both on both these parties...one alone doesn't explain the disjointed mess today.

As for the production house and channel...I doubt it's them...they approved this whole drunk-slap track of course (which can be targeted for creativity, but that's a whole separate point), yet I don't think that they would suddenly impose such an unreasonable 'time constrain' after the brilliant episodes from the FR till last week, where the pace was going along very smoothly.

And when I say cheoreography, I didnt expect steps upon steps...but chereography could have been about drunken randomness but to me it seemed like MV forgot the steps or wasnt expecting the camera to foucs on her....Everything looked more laid back to me than random....Naku was trying to act drunk and rotating at one place, that looked so forced, as if she still was not in the skin of the character....

Somehow MV disappointed me more than anything else in the song...and then those blank moments when there was nothng to offer on the screen..I felt I was watching a theatrical performance where in all of a sudden everyone forgets their lines or didnt know what to do next and then randomly catch up to move the show!!!

I dont know...Just my taker...Anyways, I hope it's one off!! Something might have gone wrong behind the scenes...Not well versed to discuss which team might be responsible!!

@bold: Exactly....even I can get the INTENTION of that bit but MV couldn't bring it across through her acting.....or lack thereof😆

And yes the only time she convinced me that she was drunk too was when she was getting off the stage and crashed into someone....😆....the editing really was quite bad....they even cut short the portion when Baaji tries to stop her...she pushes him away and they abruptly cut to some other person's face again....they didn't let ANYTHING flow in that sequence which is quite funny to me since usually song sequences are the ideal opportunities for these ppl to drag things and stuff.

Anyways, I guess the intention was to make us cringe at Nakku's antics.....and cringe I did for sure...although probably not how I'd expected to cringe😆.....MV's odd acting in that bit was what was making me cringe😆 along with the weirdness of the scenario.

They were busy watching K serials to copy it right and had no time for directing it properly 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡

all I can say is ' Guys this is not negligible error..........it really ruined episode last night '.......imagine so much publicized event in the history of LTL............"much talked about slap "........they gave us such a beautiful episode last week..............the magic was back I could feel the same vintage thing about LTL......Alas ! last night spoiled my mind.....I was so hurt.......actors, directors n creatives work so hard for 12 hours every day and when u get to see this s***, I m sorry to offend anyone but I really care for this wonderful show......it would have been better if it had started with the party n ended with the high drama......but Alas ! half of the show was repeat n crap.........u don't earn your viewers so quickly.......we r already seeing outcome of delayed FR in terms of TAM ratings...
I don't know how to appease myself here........ok dutta was upto the mark .....when is he not?.........but the total feel was lost......I m so sad........I wish tonight MV amazes me with fabulous performance as though she did well in the first half, where she came downstairs, sat with dutta n looked at him with love........but after she got tranquilized .......it did not look she was drunk apart from the incident where she pushed fat saree lady......I don't know but it looked she was not drunk in my POV.......Sad though but I m hopeful CVs will cover it n hope channel hang up their boots before its too late....I mean it !

May b I m too Optimistic about Slap. I just saw IBN/SBB/UMETV footage. There was a scene where nakusha pushes dutta, hs wine glass and goes away. Yanay k dutta ko lil dhaka, sharab fell on the floor n then she goes away. Nw I think slap we saw was either dream of kala or footage of precap. God knows. I hope color dont mess up 2nite. I dnt knw why they get wrong with LTL. May b he drags her inside the room n slap her. Whatever the case may b, I felt news coverage footage was good n better than what was shown ysterday? Finger crossed for positive outcome meaning hard/invisible slap on kala'face. Damn it . Lol
