LTL's shocking epi: Who's responsible?

Its rarely I am shocked with an epi. And I was really shocked with it yesterday. I thought with the FR and change in director the bad epis were finally behind us. Just yesterday I was singing praises of the new director for being able to handle the reins of the show really well. And what happenned yesterday? A badly edited episode. First 10 mins were a repeat of yesterday's epi. Then Naku's dance and Dutta's slap looked random. The epi ended all of a sudden as if they just took a break. I now wonder who is responsible?
-The channel as earlier too we have seen them playing havoc with LTL by even editing out tasha scenes.
-The production house for not being able to come up with something more creative as it is usual LTL standards
-I saw an addition to the list of directors apart from Yash Chauhan who was directing the epis after FR. Could two directors handling the show be responsible as we have seen the pre-FR phase when LTL was being handled by two directors was not a great phase of the show.
I am sorely disappointed that the channel and LTL team let go of such a golden opty after so much publicity was given to the slap incident. If any new/not so regular viewers tuned they would have been turned off with such a sloppy episode.

The additional director is Jignesh M Vaishnav, one of the pre FR directors🤢......... Yesterday's repeat sequences were directed by Yash Chauhan, that might be why his name was there. If so, that might mean that the party scene was directed by the other guy😭😭.....

Yashji was so good, ever since he started directing, hardly any bad shots....Past 3 weeks have been overall LTL goodness...I hope nd pray that this is only a temporary change..............

Not the director, its packaging team ... first of all what we saw yesterday was a poorly edited episode apart from the Major technical fault most of the juicy parts were not there and the breaks in between broke the continuity of the shot which took away everything in the end..

Direction i guess was also not up to the mark ....but like i mentioned above ....If it would have been shown as a continusou shot things would have still come out satisfactory...

so, once again Thanks to Colors and their EXPERT team for giving us an Episode to remember.. * applauds*

@Raj:Yes...Yashji was really good. I dont want to blame the directors completely but to me it looked by bad editing rather than directing. It looked as if they cut some portions from the time Naku gulps down the drink till she starts dancing. I hope they show us the scene one more time. I am ready to see the drinking and dancing if its made to look more logical. It seemed yesterday they wanted to end it suddenly with a slap.

I just saw the last 8 minutes of episode which featured the dance sequence, and I did feel the pinch...well, the punch......I so agree, everything was random about it,.....The picturization, and direction, a total failure!!!....I couldnt believe there was actually blank moments in the song...Naku didnt know what to do...Probably the intend during those scenes was to capture Dutta's reaction or probably even Kala's but the camera ended up focussing on Naku and Naku didnt know what to perform then....One such eg was just before the line - "Aap sun toh rahein hain mere dil ki ley"...Prior to the commencement of this line, Dutta's expression was prominent, but a second before his exp was captured, there was nothing happening on the screen...absolutely nothing...I was shocked at such a poor cheoreography!!! Although the steps in their individual capacity were graceful, the overall cheoreography seemed very laid back....Naku's performance too seemed laid back but thankfully not vulgar...IMO, Today MV wasnt in her best skin....

Also, When Dutta slapped Naku, the sound that reached my ear was as if I was watching an SBS Video which had no sound effects modulated!!! The real sound effect came after the slap...
But I still liked the song for 2 reasons,
1. Dutta's expressiones were out of the world in the song and totally justified the track and the song...
2. The song itself...I am amazed at LTL's choice of songs...and really applaud the team for such gem of songs!!
and yes....Anu's thread has definitely given me hopes about this track even if it wasnt executed right today....

I think the editors might have messed up---big time. Either it's a glitch on account of the repeated scenes or the incoherence during the party itself which is the problem that made the entire episode seem badly patched. If not them, surely the writers, who failed at putting together a proper build up to the whole setting and situation, character behaviour, etc. I think it's a bit of both on both these parties...one alone doesn't explain the disjointed mess today.

As for the production house and channel...I doubt it's them...they approved this whole drunk-slap track of course (which can be targeted for creativity, but that's a whole separate point), yet I don't think that they would suddenly impose such an unreasonable 'time constrain' after the brilliant episodes from the FR till last week, where the pace was going along very smoothly.

@Nikita: I actually liked the way the song was choreographed...in fact the it didnt seem choreographed at all. As if MV did some random steps on her own. Which was good as the dance was supposed to be impromtou and performed by someone like Naku who hardly expresses herself and stands in the background. The dance seemed dreamy...as if Naku was in a dreamworld where she could just see her love and whole world melted away and she was singing and dancing for him.

Shreya, I get your point of random dance....but today, IMO, MV didnt give the right expressions, or movements that felt - "as if Naku was in a dreamworld where she could just see her love and whole world melted away and she was singing and dancing for him."...I didnt get that feel from her acting at all....
And when I say cheoreography, I didnt expect steps upon steps...but chereography could have been about drunken randomness but to me it seemed like MV forgot the steps or wasnt expecting the camera to foucs on her....Everything looked more laid back to me than random....Naku was trying to act drunk and rotating at one place, that looked so forced, as if she still was not in the skin of the character....
Somehow MV disappointed me more than anything else in the song...and then those blank moments when there was nothng to offer on the screen..I felt I was watching a theatrical performance where in all of a sudden everyone forgets their lines or didnt know what to do next and then randomly catch up to move the show!!!
I dont know...Just my taker...Anyways, I hope it's one off!! Something might have gone wrong behind the scenes...Not well versed to discuss which team might be responsible!!
