Dutta had always been more of an open book to nakku..she knows him better then himself..she proudly says so..and knowing how deeply he loves her and trusts her and how betrayal and lies of any sort hurt him..she still kept something this big from him.

Dutta as a character has always been etched a turbulent complex person..his dream sequences in the jungle track and then during DP track..portrays his complexity well. Rationally thinking a person who is so easily disturbed would react in volatile manner in situations like this..he will always be this volatile in his anger sparks..it can't be changed..his quick silver temper and rash action are his major faults but cannot be helped.

Nakku on the other hand has always been a clear person..her priorities..her thoughts and manners had always been clear. she is one of those persons who can keep clear head in storm. she thinks be4 stepping forward for anything. she has no qualms about her mothers decision..i mean ..see she never q's her mom abt hiding her face..never rebels..any kind of rebellion is against her character..she is calm and serene even when dutta forcibly marries her. so taking any decision without thinking through is not in her character.

As individuals they are so apart but as a couple they make a whole. they complete each others defficiency..when nakku doesn't stand up to kala..dutta stood for her..even threw her out of his house for her honour. when dutta refused to go to his dying father nakku forced him to go to him. thats how husbands and wives are..they complete each other. what nakku did now seems more wrong to for the sole reason that dutta and nakku had made so many mistakes in the past already. they had come a long way as a couple from that day of 1st marriage to now on SR. their relation had risen above so many of the problems and a mistake like this one just reduces that whole relationship to nothing..

hence i m blaming nakku more..afterall she is supposed to be the rock on which the monument called dutta stands..she is the base..and it crumbled.

I suppose Dutta's learning this lesson of love. For what is love that has no obstacles in its path. Me thinks the problem with Dutta is he got it too easy this time. Agreed, he's gone through enough pain and suffering, and he can't take anymore. He's almost insane now. But this test was necessary. His joy, his love won't be the same without the pain. When it came to Nakusha, things were too easy for him. She gave him her shoulder to cry on, whenever he needed it. She became his pillar of support. When accused of trying to sabotage his marriage, she took the blame on her head saying that if loving him was a sin, she was ready for any punishment. She saved his life, without caring for her own, and was freed. She said she'd sit by his side in the face of death, and she did that too. Dutta's taken her for granted. He's bared his soul to her, she didn't. She didn't ask him before loving him. She didn't ask him for his love either. She was ready to let go of him if it meant that he'd be happy. She was ready to see him get married to someone else and stay by his side as his friend forever.

I'm not defending Naku. She is in the wrong. Whatever her reasons, she has been dishonest with him. But did she have a selfish motive behind it? Aai Saheb had one. Babi had more than one. Kala had everything to gain. Naku had none. In her own words, she was scared. Not that he'd downright disown her. She was scared of his reaction. She was scared that he'd harm himself. She wasn't wrong, was she? He'd have done the same before the marriage, maybe the reaction would've been a bit tamer.(I doubt this….coz Naku herself did the revealing now, and yet, he's gone crazy) So, Naku's a dishonest person, maybe. One against many of Dutta's sins. Now everyone can't be as honest as Dutta, can they? Dutta is what he is. He says what he thinks. No pretence. It doesn't matter if it's AS or Kala or Baaji who's in the wrong. For him, betrayal is betrayal. So, when was the last time he listened to the other person's side of the story when in a dilemma? I don't remember any such instance. He is open with his feelings, so he expected the same of everyone else. But sadly, not everyone is as straight as Dutta when it comes to their emotions. Dutta's an emotional time bomb waiting to go off, so it's no surprise that everyone walks on eggshells around him!

What I want to say is that, if he cannot open his eyes, if he cannot get out of his pain and see what Nakusha stands for, maybe he doesn't deserve her too. The same way he feels that she's a traitor and doesn't deserve his love right now! After everything she's done for him, does her beauty make her evil? Dutta really needs to sort this out. How can he forget everything that has happened? If Nakusha can forgive him for what he is, if she is ready to go to the ends of the earth for him, and live with him inspite of what he does….can't he forgive her this? I love the fact that Dutta's learning this lesson of pain. Something tells me that this pain will give him the strength to face everything wrong, everything evil in his life. It will help him clear his head and heart. Sort out his priorities.

Sigh. Sorry for the rant. In the end, I'm a TaSha fan. I want them together! At any cost. And like I said in another post, I don't mind Dutta meting out this treatment to Naku, coz this time around he'll have to win her love. I SO want this! I want him to behave like a lover this time.

I love Dutta as much I love Naku but Dutta has to change a lot and only Naku can make him change. Or else ppl like Kala will always take advantage of him and ppl like Naku/baji will always have to suffer

do you mean dutta is insecure- now that his naku is beautiful she might also ditch him like others. so did he think dark, ugly nakusha will not get anyone to ditch him for?

I hope he doesn't think like that. if he does, then he is really sick. i can have no pity for him. or may be he should be get psychological help.

Crystal, great analysis. I agree with you wholeheartedly. Naku's one mistake due to her faith in goodness of people is costing her so much and yet Dutta is all the time talking about understanding her!! Ironical! Isn't it? If he understood, he would have given her a chance to explain and even could have asked her for proofs (she could have called Subbu for that or even could have asked Dutta to track down Morey and ask him about it or asked Dutta to visit the basti and enquire). But no. Dutta is a hot-headed irrational fool who only just realized that he loves Naku and for him that love should result into marriage. Wheather he or she is up to it and wheather he understands Naku or not hasn't even crossed his mind. He believes what his family is telling him and yet he cries Dhoka at all of them!! Ironical! Real immature!
