Happy Belated New Year😆

She felt warm and secure as she cuddled into him, his arms protecting her from the light breeze that's coming in from the open window. Suddenly she heard a noise, a sound that pulled her towards it, it was piercing her ears and she just wanted to block it out but then she came to realise that it was actually her baby. Nakku jumped up and ran to Khushi who was snivelling. Picking her up, she snuggled her close to her chest and rocked her gently. Seeing Dutta asleep, Nakku went to the other room and changed her nappy. As soon as she was clean, her angel smiled, her green eyes twinkled. Nakku smiled, she bent down and rubbed her nose against hers while she tickled her lightly. Khushi put her tiny hand on her mum's nose and said something in her baby language, Nakku kissed her hand "Kya kahan, mama se kya kehna chahte ho?" she pecked her chubby cheeks. Khushi looked at Nakku and then put her whole fist in her mouth, Nakku gasped and pulled it back out "Don't do that" She wiped Khushi's hand with the kurta she was wearing, Dutta's kurta.

Baaji sat on the floor with Bela with lots of DVDs in his hand, he scattered them on the floor and beamed at her. Bela looked down and then back at him "Yeh sab kya hain?" she questioned him "Well to me, it looks like movies" he chuckled "Pick one" he ordered her. "Movies? Why?" she asked and picked up a random DVD. "Because we are going to watch one of them, don't you dare say no, im bored yaar please" he begged. "theek hain, yeh lo, if you don't like it, then you pick one" she smiled and gave him the one she picked up. "No today we will watch whatever you" he took it from her and went to the TV.

Bela made herself comfortable on the floor with her back resting against the bed. Putting the movie on, Baaji sat down next to her with a grin plastered on his face. He pulled the quilt from the bed and covered himself and Bela. AS came in the room and smiled at them. "Yeh lo, popcorn tum dono ke liye" she put it on the table infront of BaLa "Arre AS, iski kya zaroorat thi?" he looked at her with a smile "Chup, yeh Bela ke liye hain" she smiled at Bela "Thanks AS" Bela faintly smiled at her. AS blessed her and went, turning off the light as baaji requested. Baaji glanced at Bela with a smirk "You do like horror movies right?, you won't get scared?" Bela looked at him, raising an eyebrow, her eyes opened wide "Scary movie, I chose a scary movie? Er .. No.. No. I'm not scared" she covered half of her face, looking at the TV. Baaji knew she was lying; he turned the other way and controlled his laugh.

"Nakku" He groaned and touched the cold, empty space on the bed, he turned and looked for her but his wife wasn't in the room. He got up, put his clothes on and went to see where she is. Nakku hummed a sweet melody as she cooked breakfast, unknown to the fact that Dutta was also in the kitchen, he leaned against the wall, hands crossed across his chest and he admired his beautiful wife cooking. Khushi squealed out of a sudden bringing Dutta back from his dream world and Nakku turned back and saw Dutta walking up to Khushi. She smiled "You're up, I was about to come wake you up" she smiled and put a plate on the table for Dutta. "Haan, when you're not there, I can't sleep" he complained and sat down at the table, pulling khushi's car seat to him. She looked at him, sticking her tongue out. Dutta poked his tongue back at Khushi and tickled her belly. Nakku took her place beside him and forcefully fed him as he was busy playing with his baby. "Nakku, aaj raat main khana pakaounga, specially for you" he beamed at her with a mouthful. "Rehne do rehne do, if you cook then we will both starve to death" she mocked him. Dutta frowned "Oi hello, I can cook better than you, but I want a kiss for each dish" he grinned naughtily and winked at her. "Fine" Nakku put another morsel in his mouth "Auu Mauu Shuu hmph" he tried to talk and ended up laughing "KYA?" Nakku chuckled and raised her eyebrows. Dutta swallowed "mera matlab tha ke meetha ke liye 2 kiss". "Ohh Meetha, YOU will make mithai?, YOU?" Nakku looked at him completely surprised. "Yeah, why not?, Nakusha Dutta Patil ka Pati hoon" he cracked up and hugged her sideways. She giggled and pecked his cheeks.

She squeezed his hand whilst hiding behind the blanket, baaji was enjoying every minute of the movie until Bela couldn't take it anymore and screamed. Baaji jumped, holding his heart. "Yedi ho kya? Why are you screaming?" he got up and turned on the lights. "I don't want to watch this, change it, change it" she yelled at baaji who was grinning like an idiot "Why the hell are you smiling like that?" she looked at him, squinting her eyes angrily. "Because you are scared, you look funny when you're scared" he busted out laughing. "Ahhh Baaaaaaji" she got up, picking a pillow she ran after him around the room. "Ohh teri... Eyyy Bela...dekh takiya neeche rakh.. belaaa" baaji ran for his life, he got on the bed and picked up a pillow to protect himself. Bela started thrashing him with her pillow, making him fall on the bed. He covered his face, she stood on the bed and ripped his pillow "Eyy tu ladki hain ya monster" he cracked up on his own joke while she cursed him in so many languages. Gathering some courage, he pulled her down and pinned her to the bed "Bas... Yedi..maregi kya?" he looked at her lovingly. She gazed at him, breathing heavily she admired him, his feature was beautiful, his light brown eyes shining like the sun, his pink lips which tempted her to taste it, his dimple that can drive anyone crazy and his adam's apple which was bopping up and down.

Unknown of her actions, lost in his eyes, she started tracing his cheeks with her fingers.

Baaji removed the fluff that was on her forehead. They gazed at each other lovingly, their silence did a lot of talking.

Bela lifted her head and took his lips into hers; she didn't know whether it was right or wrong, she did what her heart asked her to.

Baaji, completely lost into her, responded back to her, giving her full access to his heart. He didn't know what has gotten into her but whatever it was, he loved it. It was his first kiss; he just didn't want to ruin it.

She pulled back and rested her head back on the bed looking at him. Baaji felt guilty, maybe she didn't want this but to his surprise, she smiled at him and closed her eyes.

That's when he knew, she was perfect for him. And somewhere inside, he knew she loved him as much as he loved her.
