IT would have been nice too .. but would have less scope of development and the show would have ended by now...

probably they will use this idea for another show if there is any in the pipeline..

I personally feel this one is more enjoyable and have a scope of further interesting developments.. Creatives are able to Find more complexities and can give more meaning to their Story line up with Current version ..
