was it EGO???

guys do u think that dutta's ego was hurt when he came to know that nakku betrayed him?

my POV is that this time dutta behaved very differently and it was his heart that was hurt not his ego. he has been a very egoistic person like all men. the evidence is nakku's speech ,at the cliff hanging time. she had said that "yahan ke bhagwaan dutta sriram patil..woh jo karte hain wahi sahi hota hai...aap ne kaha mein gunehgaar hoon to hoon...aap samajhte hain aap apne desisions mein insaaf karte hain"....bla bla..so in a way nakku pointed out that he is egoistic, he is his marzi ka malik she clearly showed him the mirror and also reminded him that he is after all a human being who can make mistakes...(wow..nakku knows dutta more that dutta himself!!) and that time i would say that YES his ego was also hurt ....

but now i think its different..on thursday he never said that " nakku u refused DSP's proposal? how could u do this?"....what his words expressed was grief . he was just trying to find out the reason behind nakku's denial. he said that he never gave importance to her color or roop...he was extremely upset and was questioning nakku why she let him dream big?? why she let him have bharosa on ppl?? why she showed the ray of hope to dutta? the fire in him had died so why did she ignite it ahain??..........and after he has fallen for and is proposing her then why did she refuse his proposal?? is she scared or is she feeling that she is not worth dutta because she is dark? or is it that she has not forgiven him??....i think it was only hos broken heart nothing more than that....


previously when dutta came to know that sups betrayed him he reacted violently..that was not his true love so it was obvious that his ego was hurt. at that time he has said.."agar use koi aur pasan that to ye mujhe kehna tha...poocha tha main ne use...dhoka dene ki kya zaroorat thi??..main use nahin chodoonga"....and he went to take revenge , to punish her and that WAS ego!! but i never felt at any point that his ego was hurt on thursday...

what do u guys feel??? if it is his ego then he wouldnt to to save nakku also..just my POV

Ya Nazia.......i completely agree....Dutta is Heart Broken this time...coz he actually had fallen for Nakku..in case of Sups..it was just a compromise for him...he agreed for the Marriage only coz of ayi sahb...and so he had seen sup as his would be wife...bt in case of Nakku...it is like she is his life...he had said this.."tumari saase meri jeene ki maksath hai Nakku...!!"..he never said any of this to Sups...this time Dutta fell..bt fell real hard...!!!!!

I think its a combination of many things and many factors that is making Dutta angry:


1. This was the first time he bared his heart...actually admitted to his feelings in the public....
2. He doesnt know the reason she refused him......he is guessing and that is frustrating
3. Dutta does not have an Ego but it is a slap on his face in front of every one...he does not understand the reason and he also thinks that she has not forgiven him for what he did to her..(shaadi)

So its not ego as in real ego...but it is a blow on his self esteem......He has proposed to a girl he really loves for the first time and she refuses....so its a combination of frustration, guilt, ego, anger and helplessness

I do agree here. I think you've very well justified that, why it was NOT dutta's "ego" and why he was actually "heartbroken".

Even i do believe that he was actually heartbroken in the last episode.....he is just shattered and puzzled......that is why i feel that with baaji's help he'll try to think from his heart this time and thn go to get back nakku.....bcos baaji did tell him the other day (at their adda) that in case of nakku......u should always use your heart and not mind.....so yea......baaji will prolly remind him that......😊

i agree with u dear...there is no place for ego now...ego is usually shown to ppl whom u dont know well or who doesnt know u well....but ego is never shown to a person who knows u completely in and out!! isnt it??

i dont even think its self esteem here chinu 😕 ...because in that episode he also realized that he had done the mistake of torturing her....his ego has dies according to me..the way he OPENLY APOLOGIZED to her itself proves that he doesnt have self esteem in mind....

you usually show pride or ego to people who dont know u well..but dutta very well knows that nakku knows him more that dutta himself..so whats the point of showing pride her?? looks like he is disturbed and angry but ego?? i dont think so....the day nakku had told him that she is yahan ka bhagwaan, at the cliff hanging thingy that moment itself dutta's ego had started to die...just my POV😊

youhave great points here nikki....i know nikki...if after baji explains to him if he goes to ave nakku then again it proves that he has left his ego behind...he knows that nakku refused him even though she was proposed by the one whom she loves so if dutta is still an egoistic person then he wouldnt go to save nakku inspite of baji's explanation..dutta would just feel that she has refused DSP's proposal so i have no responsibility towards her now...she has broken the relation so y should i strive to still continue with it??

it pure love that will draw him towards nakku..nothing else

In thursday's epi it was obvious he was totally hurt from heart.

HE got a ray of hope to live in Nakku.Earlier he just accepted Supriya & he was happy that he was marrying someone who understands him.But,the closeness was never there.So,definitely it was his Ego.But,it is not the case with NAkku.Nakku always showed him what he is.The situstions & the life he faced along with NAkku (the whole jungle scenario),it brought inner Dutta who over powered the "Egoistic Dutta Bhao".I dont say his ego has totally gone.But,yes when it comes to Nakku,he has started thinking from heart leaving all egos.

The reason behind his proposal for NAkku is his confidence about NAkku as Nakku told & proved him so many times that she loves him truly & deeply.So,he was almost sure she would accept him.Otherwise hewould not have asked her as I think.When she ran away,as most of the people would think,he also thought she has rejected him.So,trying to find out all the reasons behind it.Definitely he is hurt & not any Egos surrounding him rt now as he truly loves her.

i completely agree with u saaki..u have have explained it well yaar 😳 he was confident that nakku would accept his proposal...isiliye there were chances of EGO popping up..if he had had a doubt that nakku wuld ot would not accept it then he would have been prepared for both the answeres but now that he was sure, there were more chances of him being egoistic.
he is actually proud and has self esteem but nakku's simplicity has killed it 😊
