'suniye/suniye ji' -- i dont mind.. my parents never call each other by names.. they say 'listen/ ey listen' when they talk to each other...😆

Most of our parents, their parents, and their parents ....too😛
Baabi calls her husband - Aye Ganpat.
If Nakku takes a leaf out of Babi's book, we will hear, 'Aye Nakku" and "Aye Dutta"😆

I can't think of any other form of address DuttaforNakku, at this point.

At least it is better than "Aji sunte ho... or Aji suniye, or ...suniye ji...

I am sure she will be told not to call him Saab. They would have some Marathi equivalent for Suniye ji😃

The Marathi equivalent of "Aji Sunte Ho" is just "Aaho"... usually maharashtrian women call out their husbands as "aaho" when they do not address them by name. Nakku may do the same thing, or then the other option is "ayektas ka", which means, "Listen", literally, "Aji Sunte ho". 😊 I don't think this will work in LTL so we may just have her calling him Saab unless he tells her "Sirf Dutta, Nakku. Tera Dutta." 😛

Hey kai ga? (hey what's this?) Marathi aur Malayali kabhi nahin sudhrenge 😆
They are always seeking their own out 😆
I am not one. But I would like to tell you, that before we knew the names of the actors (that was quite a few episodes later), my mother and I felt that the casting was really good.
The lead pair and the others around them, do look very Maharashtrian.
Dutta Bhau (Mishal) reminds me of Vijayendra Ghatge😆😆 . Though a Punjabi/Sindhi?? He looks really Maharashtrian.
Sudarshan (I believe is a Punjabi or a Kashmiri) looks like a Konkanastha. Leela and Nakku too, with their light eyes and fair skin.
Babi and Ayai, to janam se hai Marathi Manoos😃. Ganpat, perfect Mumbai Maratha.
Anna, Murli was too good. Is he a Telegu 'Sharma'? Can someone confirm this?
Pawan Malhotra was great as the lecherous treacherous Morey. Aiyee Shappat! Tongue

LOL u r funny "aye Dutta"😆
but on a serious note i dont think it will suite Naku's characteristics
I would rather if she were to stick to Saab because its her special name for her special one
n im sure though Dutta would ask her not to call saab he would enjoy it every bit😃
