- I LOVED the scene between Kishore and Dutta - it was just so heartwarming! You know I love how Kishore calls Dutta "aap" even though he's probably older than Dutta (given how Kaala is older than Dutta...?). I just really really love the additional respect and love Kishore showers on Dutta - I love it! And when he "mock-punched" Dutta, did anyone else laugh out as he then soothed Dutta's arm as though it might as hurt him?! LOL! I thought that was adorable! 🤣 Does he not know our Dutta Bhao is a "sher"?! Nothing hurts him physically! It's his heart that's a bit more fragile than usual because he feels a lot - be it pain or love... *sigh*
- How old is Anay supposed to be in the show? Because this kid looks like he's 9-10 years old? And if he is that old in the show too, then I cannot appreciate him talking like he's two years old - discussing "bari cars" with his dad! Just saying! 😕
- "Main duniya ki sari behnon ko ye batana chahti hon k agar apne bhai ko apne bhabi k pallu sey bandhna nahi chahte - toh bhabi k pallu tak pauhanchne hi mat do! Phir bhai bhi apka aur naachey ga bhi ap hi k isharon per!" - LOVE IT! *sigh* Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant! Touche' Kalavati! Touche'! And kudos to the dialogue writers for penning down such "interesting" dialogues that get the point across. I hate those monotonous, ghissey pitey dialogues that I can mouth ALONG with the actors! These dialogue writers always take me by surprise - give me something I wasn't expecting. I love it! 😃
- Come on! Who else thought Kaala was totally thinking "Yeah right, keep telling yourself that!" when Leela corrected her and her that it wasn't just HER who's "isharey" Dutta would be "nach"-ing on?! I thought so! Like she had absolutely NO intentions of sharing that power over Dutta (if and) when she gets it. She is just keeping the two sisters along to have an audience to her "schemes" - someone to applaud her brilliance and someone she can feel superior against. Other than that I don't think she shares any greater concern for them or needs them to serve any greater purpose either. 🤔
- I LOVED, LOVED, LOVED how Kaala told Roops to clear the room - one glance and one look was all it took! Like I said, BRILLIANT!
- Now, this is going to be a very "controversial" point in my post. I am sure not everyone is going to agree with me and that is absolutely okay - in fact I totally welcome that! But I would like for everyone to read this without assuming it to be the rantings of a "fan". I have tried to be as objective about this as I can - the fact that I am in awe of Kaala's character has been set aside just so I could fairly analyze that scene. And here's what I think. THAT whole scene was a calculated move on Kaala's part - from the moment she saw Kishore at the door she knew that unless she gave him a REASON to shut up, there will always be a chance that he'd go "talk" to Dutta. And she did not want to take that chance. If you notice, as Kishore walks in Kaala has a very calm and analytical expression, like she's figuring out what to do. She wasn't panicked and she wasn't even worried. She pushed JUST the right buttons on him by trying to "tempt" him with power - letting him assume that she wanted him to think of how great life would be if Dutta was under her spell. And when he got upset and walked away you could see her calm and calculating as she listened to him insult her for being the horrible person that she is. She wasn't offended by it - maybe for a moment or two, yes - but mostly she was just amused at his ranting. But as soon as he turned she was "upset" - again, for show. She really had NOT cared what he said so the "zabaan sambhalo" facade I feel was just to "fuel" Kishore's anger. She had made him upset and when he turned in anger she fueled it by "yelling" back. And the FINAL push came when she asked him what he was going to do about it?! THAT was not the natural progression of the conversation - Kishore would NOT have threatened to do anything if Kaala hadn't asked him and provoked him so! She MADE him walk out in anger towards Dutta. And as he walked away she made him believe he was in "control" by looked distressed and afraid. I honestly feel that her "fear" was all a farce - part of the show. She runs out after him and "urges" him to stay out of it, knowing full well it will just fuel his ego and his belief of being in control which would lead him to go forth with even more fury. And then she "threatens" him telling him he isn't aware of what she could do - that was her que, to then go ahead and excute her final plan. She wanted Kishore to know that she had warned him - so that when he thought back to this, he didn't feel like he was "tricked". When he would think back to this he should only see how he's been a fool to challenge her - not that she's MADE him do all he'd done. So he walks away in anger and she "looks" afraid as she looks around trying to figure out a why to deliver her "final blow". And that is when she sees Anay. I don't think she'd always planned to use Anay in her facade but she needed her final execution - something that would shock Kishore into silence for good and Anay walked in with an invisible but bright arrow on his head. In all honesty though, Kaala has never been "close" to Anay. She has never been a mother to the kid. Kishore does all the leg work in raising the son and he's always let her know that the only reason he stick around is because his son is a motherless child and he doesn't want him to be fatherless too. The ONLY time Kaala's been shown talking about her son is when Sethji had a fight with Anay and company in the beginning of his stay at the Patil House and then as she was annoyed with the mess made in the room by Anay. That is IT! So I am absolutely NOT surprised that she didn't think twice about using her son as bait. Part of me is sure that she gave birth to Anay as a "show" - to look the part of a happy, loving elder sister with a grand life and no reason to be vicious towards Dutta. Everything she does is with a purpose to fortify her goal - and Anay is a big part of that. I really do not feel there is any "special" love involved here. The ONLY hint of Kaala's love for Anay is in the fact that she knew she wasn't going to let go of the son - he was her son and she wouldn't let him go. That's as far as her love goes but expecting anything more from her is not fair to her. She is the perfect villain because she has no "attachments". She can easily pull away from anyone at anytime to get what needs to be done. It was BRILLIANT! Just absolutely BRILLIANT! The way she lets one of her hand slides while the other sneaks down to "hold" Anay instead was BRILLIANT! And how she kept her gaze intently on Kishore as a way of saying "I told you so - LOOK at me as I do this and tell me if you see me flinch!". It was a dare - she wanted him to "see" that she wouldn't care. Just like she wanted him to "hear" that she didn't care for any relationship before her goal. Now both those things might not be true (and I don't feel they are) but she will make Kishore think they are true so long as it "shuts him up"! Kaala takes liberties with all her relationships - uses them for her goal - but that doesn't mean she doesn't care for them in some way. She just doesn't mind using them to serve her purpose. She is a psychopath - and I think I love her for it! THIS is why she is a brilliant villain. So to say that she disappointed in that scene and expect anything less "evil" would be an insult to the character's sheer brilliance and psychopath-ic tendencies. At least I think so... 🤔
- I have to say this - Kaala and Kishore were MIND BLOWING during the "child-hanging" (as I will now call it) scene! The way she "fake" cried was EQUALLY matched by the genuine worry, fear and tears on his face. And the way Kishore jerks forward as Anay slips out of Kaala's hand a little - it was just absolutely amazing! Brilliant acting by both actors! They are so well matched in both aspects - Kishore and Kaala as characters and two amazingly talented actors in real life. I am not sure how "well" this scene would have turned out or if it would have me say "brilliant!" as I watched it, if there were any other actors playing the part instead of the two that are. 👏
- Okay, I am confused. Did Kishore just call Kaala "tai" as she "slips" her grip on Anay? Or was that Kaala "nahi"? Because if it was "tai" then I have only one thing to say - awkward..... *looks around uncomfortably".
- I HATE that kid's "waaaaaaaa" crying! Gah! I am sorry! But I wanted to smash my speakers to bits as I heard that! Maybe I do dislike kids?! *thinks about this* I mean come on! I did not mind Kaala using HER son as bait - I thought it made sense and now his senseless "waaa" whining is irritating me. Not to mention his "bari car" discussion totally had me screaming "Are you for real?!". This is serious! Do I dislike kids? *worried muh*
- Leela and Roops are both teaming up against Kaala - Kaala has always treated them as dirt and I think now we're beginning to see them get "annoyed" by their ill-treatment. If they do face-off (which I hope they do) I am totally rooting for Kaala to rub their faces in the metaphorical dirt! Go Team Kaala! *cheers*
- Aaaaaah!!! *shields her eyes and rubs them to ease the immense pain* WHAT was THAT?! Was that horrendous color ON Kaala's nails? Is THAT her nail color?! SERIOUSLY?! WHO is responsible for this abomination!?! The person responsible for Kaala's costume needs to get his/her act together. That nail color has totally ruined an otherwise gorgeous fashion ensemble! Grrrrr! *upset muh*
- I've always felt that Baji's been a little suspicious of Kaala. First with the "shopping" comment he made about everyone being up and around because of an opportunity to shop (way back when). And then when Kaala tried to get Baji to write on a sheet of paper so she could match his handwriting to the "letter" he's seemed suspicious of her then too. And today, he looked at her like he was trying to decipher the REAL meaning behind her words and expressions as she cried to Dutta. I feel Baji's more perceptive about Dutta's sister (especially Kaala) than Dutta - maybe because he isn't that close to the whole situation as Dutta is. I am waiting and watching to see this one unfold!
- "Samajhdar ko toh sirf ishara hi kaafi hota hai - aur tum toh samajhdar ho na? Zaroorat sey ziada samajhar?!" - Oooooooo! Burnnnn!!! Lol! I'm sorry. But that was another piece of brilliant dialogues! These are the wittiest dialogue writers I've ever come across and I LOVE it! 😃
- Okay this was ridiculous! Was it just me or did someone else find it absurd that they'd made people "line up" inside the house to give "good blessings" to Dutta? WHA...?! Baji's forcing people to bring gifts and Aayi Sahib is coercing blessings out of poor people. WHAT is wrong with people in the Patil House?! 🤣
- O.M.G.! OMG! OMG! OMG! WHAT is Supriya wearing?! OMG! This is supposed to be her in-laws' place and this is supposed to be a wedding event! WHAT in the world is she wearing?!?!? *gag* You were right Jaz, this girl has NO sharam! 🤢
- Seriously? Not ONE person noticed the "psycho-looking-dressed-in-all-black" lady as she waited in line and thought "Huh? That is weird! Someone coming to a shadi ka ghar looking so ominous!"? Really? NO ONE? Maybe every one was blinded by Supriya's skin-show to notice! 🤣
- "Dua-een bhi paise sey khareedey ga Dutta? Itna bara ho gaya hai?!" - This was an absolutely amazing dialogue for someone who was "hurt" on Dutta's account. I know Dutta wasn't doing THAT - he wasn't "buying" blessings. But for someone wanting to "hurt" Dutta as much as he'd hurt them, this was effective and in my opinion jaw-dropping. That would pierce the heart like a poisoned spear - and leave a mark on the "attack-ed's" conscience! (I haven't seen the next episode yet so can't say for sure... 😳)
