what is the objective of the topic. Shilp drinks. Well I don't know whether she does or not and if she does how does it matter. Gauri smokes and drinks so who cares? Besides this is pure speculation that Shilpa drinks and smokes. Just holding a glass of drink in her hands doesen't mean that she is drinking alcohol. I mean what is the fuss about. Let us not take out posts based on speculation.

Please do not take out such posts. There is no proof that Shilpa drinks and smokes. Regarding Gauri smoking (we know she does) or Shilpa being worse than Gauri is a purely subjective criterion. For some Gauri fans Shilpa may be worse but for Shilpa fans Gauri can never take her place.

Why are we making drinking and smokeing such a big issue here😕

70% girls in london 18+ always have a drink when they are out and about, does that effect their character😕 we live in the 21st Century and if actresses are shown kissing on the screen in india i am sure we have so move on that we dont judge people on drinking.

See smoking and drinking is their own personal thing, we also have our view some enjoy or some dont so i would say its wrong to judge someone from their personal habbits!

Megha I agree with you. I don't understand why some fans go to any extent to proove their point. If Gauri smokes and drinks how does it matter. Besides if Shilpa drinks (again a speculation) how does it matter. What is the objective of taking out this thread that Shilpa is worse than Gauri. I mean one person here says that Shilpa smokes and drinks in hiding. My question to Dark Angel is "have u visited those hidings where she smokes and drinks". I mean please unless u are abslutely sure about ur facts pls. don't cast aspersions based on speculation. We have had enough of lame aspersions cast before. If people have said that Gauri smokes, maybe they have seen pictures of her smoking, but in any case it is not a big deal that she smokes. That's her personal life.

I am a little disappointed with how Indian actors lead their life. I mean, none of them represent any of the Indian ideals that makes Indian culture so beautiful. Instead, they ape American culture. They think by wearing extremely tight and short American clothing, and smoking and drinking, they will be like American actors, and such is not the case; maybe they should concentrate on their acting! They're just bad examples. My rant aside, I do think that all of the actors smoke and drink, unless you are Prachi Desai from Kasam Se and have your mom to keep you grounded and away from such vices. Also, as long as they keep acting well, I don't think their personal lives matter. Nontheless, I am disappointed with their real life character.

Jasmine are you a Gauri fan?? If u are then please do not counterattack some other actress if people in the forum say that Gauri smokes and drinks. Sometime back I saw 20 threads posted on Gauri holding a glass of wine and smoking cigarrette. How does it matter if she somkes or drinks. it's her life ultimately. She plays some reel characters which symbolize a sati savitri image 😉but that does not mean that these actresses have to carry their reel life image home. Shilpa by the way played a vamps character also in Kusum which is 180 degree different from her positive image of Ganga and Kusum. Actors and Actresses can venture onto any role and we must grant them privacy in their personal life which does not have to be a replication of their screen image. Let's all understand that we live in 21st century. 😳
