**Ganga Returns!š**
Tripti taunts Karan. She says that it doesn't take much time for destiny to change. She says that come tomorrow,Karan might not have any of his present wealth/status. She invites Karan to the party thrown in honour of Sahil getting his contract. Tanya and Damini listen to this , ang Tripti then goes up to Damini and says , that now that she has invited Karan, she knows that Gautam will tag along anyhow, but since she doesn't want his "ego" to be damaged, she will invite him personally.
Sahil confronts Nakul about getting the contract by cheating. HE slaps him, despite Triptis attempt to calm him down. Laksya looks on. Nakul says that noone cares for the truth and the right path in todays world, and he couldn't see his father as a loser, hence he cheated.
Archi (Archita){Mohinis daughter} is scolded by Mohini for wearing long clothes. She wants her to dress up in short clothes so Archi can impress all the rich guys at the party.
Sahil thinks to himself, he says that he is not a real winner. Tripti scolds him for acting saintly. She says no matter what, the fact remains that he has won the contract, and if not for his own sake, he should join the party for his familys sake.
The party starts. Nakul asks Lakshya to stay quiet about him winning the contract by deceit. Lakshya looks at Tulsis pic and asks her, how he can not stand by what is right?
It turns out that the head of the company that Sahil is working for is none other than Ganga . Enter Ganga. The transformation in her is drastic . She is now a full time business woman. Dressed in white boots, white trousers and a dressy white kurti, she looks like a completely different person. (She looks much younger and better than what she did before the leap).
She now calls herself Ganga Mehta(her maiden name I presume) The manager of the company starts introducing the Viranis to Ganga, but she interrupts, and says that she knows the Viranis very well. She exposes Sahil, and claims that she is withdrawing the contract from him, as she hates cheaters. She also warns hi, that if next time he repeats such a deed she will personally drag him t ocourt..
The contract therefore goes to the next best bidder, Karan. She says that there is no more Shanti left in Shanti niketan, anyhow , she says the party must go on, since Karan is a Virani too, lets celebrate for Karan. She congratulates Karan, and tells him that he is the most trustworthy of all the Viranis.
Baa , upstairs in her room, is thinking about what Shanti niketan has turned in over the years. Damini tells Baa that Ganga has come to Shanti Niketan.
Downstairs, Ganga continues, she says that she came just for business, and she has no relations with the house anymore, since Shanti Niketan is no longer the same ShantiNiketan which she left, and she is no longer the same Ganga which left Shantiniketan.
Baa says she wants to meet Ganga, and Damini insists that she is no longer the same GAnga.
Trupti is humiliated, and asks her family to leave. When she takes LAkshyas and Nakuls names, Gangas eyes well up with tears . She then asks where baa's room is. She goes up to Baa's room. Baa is emotional , and tells Ganga that she knew that one day Ganga would come back. Baa asks her to return. Ganga begs of her to ask anything of her but her return. Baa then asks her to come to the Haridwar trip with her. She agrees. She wipes Baas tears , and says that although she is no longer a part of Shanti Niketan, she will always be a part of baa and Tulsi.
