Discussion: Gujral's Murder Case

Hi everyone,

This week in Kyunki was marked by Karan's trial, his confession to Gujral's murder in court, and moreover... Karan being sentenced to death (by hanging). Based on the happenings of this week, thought to put out a couple questions to reflect and reply on:

1. What are your views on the death penalty in general? Justified or not? Why?

2. Given Karan is a prime character in Kyunki, and there is no intention of him leaving the show, many of us figure Karan will be saved in some way. Can you guess how Karan will be saved and by whom? Any other thoughts on Karan's case are welcomed (e.g. who is the killer) .... (By the way, if you think that Karan won't be saved please feel free to post your reason on why you think he won't be😊)

Please post all and any thoughts regarding Karan's case and its outcome under this thread since there are many posts scattered throughout the forum regarding this. Thanks.

My views on Karan's case

I think Karan will be saved......as hez one of the main chracters....and Ekta won't be able to afford his death in the show.

I think mansingh will help Karan.......I hav a feeling that mansing (chetan) will play an important role in kyunki......I don't think he entered the show just to work in few eposides.......so I think Karan's case will be draged until mansing finds some way out for Karan.

Karan cant be hung simply because
Capital punishments are extended to people who have taken a lot of lives or performed very henious acts. Its very rare to hang somebody. Eg: terrorists, suicide bombers if they syrvive their own bombs 😆
Karan is no criminal and has confessed to killing just one person, who does not have a clean slate either. Even if Karan has killed Adithya he would max be sent to prison for a few years, like Tulsi when she killed Ansh.

I think Mansingh knows that Karan is not guilty. He is just presurrising karan, cos he suspects that the real murderer is close to Karan and cant see him in a dire situation and will confess.(I can only hope its mandira)

i dnt think death penalty shd have been given to him...imprisonment was enough.i think...the show ppl want to make us more angry 😡

if karan leaves the shw....many ppl will stop viewing (me included 😆 )...so ekta wnt make such a foolish decision...

I think that karan was not a murderer he take the case on himself bcoz he know who is a murderer. Murderer is from virani's family and the murderer are in heart of tulsi and karan love his mother tulsi so he dont want to get hearted his mother when she know that a murderer is that boy who tulsi loves very much so he take the casem himself .I think that a murdrer is hars bcoz he is not an handicap 😲

i know this will be a totally offbeat view but tell me if u all think this is possible-
1. in the clipping they show during commerical where tulsi is seen thinking-aakhir kisne mara aditya gujral ko?,they show everybody's face except nandini.is karan taking the blame on himself to save her, do u all think they would ahve discovered earlier she is pregnant and want her to be out and thats why nandini is also not telling the truth?also, ever since the murder she is shown to be soo gloomy,nervous and preoccupied.

2. do u all think that karan may actually have death sentence and after the leap tanya may ahve a son who will be karan junior as the hero of the show?

I would here, like to talk about the murder and who might have done it..I had written about this in another thread too, but will like to post it here, as it is the Topic of Discussion...

I really feel it is Mandira who has planned Gujral's death from behind the bars. The secretary(that bald man) with Gujral actually works for Mandira. Mandira's plan was to get the tape in which Gautam talked to a contract killer to kill Gujral from Gujral(As you know, Gujral had recorded this convo to put Gautam behind bars). She got this tape as the secretary of Gujral works for her. Her plan was to get Gujral killed, sentence Gautam for this...She wanted Gujral out of her life, thought his property will go to her.

Mandira planned this killing. All went fine. But before, she could try to trap Gautam by somehow sending that cassette to the police, the police arrested Karan and got some proof against him.

Now that, Karan is sentenced to death, Mandira will know about this. Just bcos it is Karan , her son, who is sentenced, she will come and plead to Karan that she knows he has not done it, so he needs to fight. (they showed a glimpse of this last week). Karan , who thinks a lot about his family and family pride, will never say that he has not murdered Gujral. This will put Mandira in a dilemma. I think she will be forced to save her son. She will have no other go, bcos if she keeps quiet, it will mean that she , being Karan's mom, will be responsible for his death. Ultimately, she will open out that it was she, who had gujral killed, and that Karan is innocent....

So what say friends?? Comments on this needed...

I have not really watched the videos yet but through what I have read soo far,... it is absolute truth that Karan is in no way the killer of Gujral. He accepted that he is the killer cause maybe he thinks that someone somehow in the viranis is related to the murder and is trying to save them.

Karan getting the sentance of being hanged till death is a total "bakwaas". That only happens in ekta's world. There were reasons that let to make believe the Karan killed Gujral, but there was no eye-witness who saw Karan committing the murder. The death penalty for Karan is not at all justifiable.

Karan is a main character and he wont be leaving Kyunki, but maybe playing a important role after the leap which means ekta cant kill him off just like that. Maybe the inspector will somehow come accross some evidence which will make him think twice and find the real truth, and when he finds out he was wrong in arresting Karan, he will reopen the case and help Karan be proved not guilty.

Its just what I thought may happen 😳
