Mona is soo stupid, he let good guy like jatin leave for that loser. I bet if anushka was in her place instead of being mahan and continue to be treated like doormat she would have gone with jatin. I like anushka now beacuse she doesnt let pradip teeat her like crap, and if needed she cam go against him. Wha i learn from this ekta serial and many other is that carrer orientated women are smart. I dont care that anuskha had to hire smebody to cook n clean the house, atleast she took care of house, kidsand also office and on top of that made sure that she gots respect from pradip and not let him treat her like doormat.

I only watch this show for anushk

Please don't call Mona or Gopi idiots. I am a huge fan of Giaa. You can call the new girl in SNS an idiot. I don't mind. 😳👏

I think I watch a different show then you guys. According to me Mona is not an idiot. Looking at the situation Mona's behaviour is completely understandable and justified. Considering the current turmoil in her life she acts sensibly.

In every relationship there is one person who has the upper hand. In Pradeep and Mona's case it was Pradeep who called the shots. Mona's role was to ensure peace in her home which meant 2 things:
1. she kept quiet during the most ugly outbursts of Pradeep
2. she asked questions, but never questioned Pradeep.
I have been reading a lot that Mona is trying to be mahaan or is naive. What can you expect from her knowing her background. Before marriage she listened to every command of her parents. Before she could develop herself into an individual she got married off to a self-centered person like Pradeep who never bothered to ask how his wife was doing. On the contrairy he was always whining about being deprived from his share of attention. Even decisions regarding her household weren't entirely Mona's because she willingly discussed those with her mother in law.
Yes education plays a huge part in who and what you are, but more important is what you do with your knownledge. Mona isn't dumb. She graduated or has certificates. Like Anushka Mona is able to think on her own and for herself, but Mona's problem is that she decided to place her knownledge in her cupboard. Immediate result of this is that she got disconnected from the world outside her household. This is an unfortunate reality of many Indian women. It is not about being mahaan, naive or even spineless. It probably is about the unreasonable expectations Indians have of their women. The moment a girl finishes her education she is supposed to get married. After marriage the next step is running the household and that to in superwoman avtaar. That oftenly leads to no time for any work outside the house and that leads to the fact that an educated girl becomes dependent on all fronts (not only financially).

I am really surprised to read that many disapprove of Mona rejecting Jatin's marriage proposal. Atleast now she isn't trying to be mahaan (pleasing her in laws and a nice guy Jatin). She isn't naive (divorce with Pradeep hasn't been settled yet so how can she jump into another marriage) or spineless (easiest way out for her and her children was marrying Jatin)

1. Mona explained Jatin that at the moment she isn't ready for marriage. Jatin wants to marry Mona and father in law pressures her into this courtship, but where is Mona in this? Mona took an important matter like marriage into her own hands. Agreed she took Jatin's help and I understand her choice. It is difficult to stand up for yourself against people who only want the best for you. The man and time of her first marriage were decided by others. If there is a second marriage then it should be entirely her decision.
2. Clearly Jatin is far more understanding then Pradeep has been in the past 12 years, but the one thing that attracted him to Mona was her quality of a homemaker. A marriage at this stage would prevent Mona in finding her own IDENTITY. Having an identity (knowing who you are) is very important in current society. It will raise your selfrespect and confidence. The one person who is helping Mona gain that confidence and selfrespect is Vinit and that too without asking for anything in return. My opinion: If Mona has to marry again then Vinit is better for her then Jatin. According to me Jatin is too good to be true. Vinit and Mona both have a past, both need to move on, Vinit definitely adds to Mona's life as friend and I think Mona adds to Vinit's life as well because he trusts her enough regarding his personal life.
3. Mona has her children to think of. Their insensitive father forced Anushka into their lives and I believe the children could handle their father's infidelity because Pradeep was the present one in their family. With Mona they have a far more stronger emotional bond. It's been like 4 months that their parents parted and they still have a hope that their parents will reunite. In this situation you guys expect Mona to throw Jatin, THE OTHER MAN, into her children's faces. Jatin the uncle is fine, but Jatin the new man in THEIR mother's life and in their father's shoes is too much to digest.
4. Mona made huge progress in standing up for herself. Yes Pradeep still manages to walk all over her and Anushka is still able to make her feel like crap, but she is getting there. This "mahaan housewife" gives back to Anushka and if Pradeep really crosses all boundaries she puts him into the right place. She also distances herself from him. He isn't allowed to touch her, she isn't his private property neither his doormat (she screamed her lungs out to make that crystel clear) etc. She has already spoken out that she knows that there is nothing like love or husband wife between her and Pradeep. I think her behaviour is really realistic and remember guys it is a daily soap. You can't expect Mona to jump from being an obedient housewife to being a jhansi ki rani.

Sorry for the long post. I would say just ignore. I was bored so kept on typing 😉

@aishray i agree with u

u have put the right words there and its almost a reality with most of the girls that they have to put their desires education etc on back burner andtake care of the house kids inlaws etc

mona is no idiot but she hasnt been given chance to be herself and take charge of her life the way she wants so i guess we do see some dumb moments from mona the character.

there r ppl liks pradeep who are totally MCP'S and they think they can bully their wife or force their wishes on them

since its tv show a drama so some bits wud come here there which no one wud like i m more interested in what happens in the end
wud we see a smart confident mona who can take care of herself and her kids or wud she return to looser of husband pradeep. ?

i still dont like the show but i watch it from time to time

if ekta changes tracks and makes mona a winner not a loser then i wud say happy ending otherwise another trash from balaji house

buddy we watch the same show

mona is an idiot not because she turned out jatin, that was right because she wasnt ready for marriage

she is an idiot because all she does is listen to pradeep's bakwas all the time

and for her parents happiness she happily goes to a party pretending to be his wife and makes her children lie too

thats why she is an idiot
