I don't think Ekta is promoting an EMA or anything...she'll show why men or women get into it and the consequences on the family. I bet they will never show that life is happy happy after an EMA.

Not sure how many of you have seen "Astitiva - ek prem kahani" on Zee few years back...it was an interesting serial with a combination of wife 10 years older than husband and following EMA.

It all depends on how well the serial is made, and above all we don't need to follow what they show.

Btw I have been married 13 years myself :)

Going by the concept is what I am watching and why such things happen in society, Here Mona is busy with her family, and Pradeep wants to make all ends meet and in that meet he comes across the old friend in college whom he was planing to settle and she walks out to seek her career , Where EMA fits in is to be seen , Mona being ignorant and Pradeep taking the due advantage of this situation and persue his ambition which will be also a reason for him to slip from his trust and marriage to Mona and go behind an old flame what are the repercussions where can they be stopped and what are the consequences..

Obviously the wife would have lost her trust on the husband point blank and its very very difficult for him to see in her eyes due to any minimal extent he woudl have gone also

Astiva Ek Prem Kahani was an interesting show and it showed all angles as how the man is at fault and the women finds it disgusting and horrible to have broken teh trust,,,

Here also what will they show to know such cases are happening in society will be seen how the creatives portray it

I read all your posts...I didnt watch this serial as the theme of EMA put me off..I am like many others like an ostrich burying its head in the sand, not wanting to discuss something like this as discussing might open a can of worms which I dont want to...but last night I happened to watch this serial before my fav Bade Achche and I was pleasantly surprised...the other woman is not the villainess of the piece and neither is the wife a poor thing who is a sacrificing martyr...both the women have come out well...
I am okay with this theme being discussed as long as it is not made sleazy...

Dear the show Astitva Ek prem Kahani Niki Ahuja and Varun Badola on Zee TV

The show had a lot of EMA but the angles were also the woman is older than the man

So many angles were there to show why a man leads himself into EMA..

Here we have to see what leads too
It will be only Pradeep's fault but men also accuse their wife's for not giving them attention so to what extent this show portays that and how realistic they want this subjective aspect of the EMA will be traversed.

After reading all ur posts I am quite intrigued by this show...Did not watch it as I did not like the theme of EMA which i thought the show was based on...But will try to catch up now...I think both Mona Singh and Pawan kumar are good ac tors and so is the new parallel lead...

EMA may never happen or may just spark up but never flame up or may be stopped before it happens its all left to how its show and to what extent, what the show may portray is how decision taken at the right time may lead to loss of ones happiness, which one thinks ..

If u notice there is a lot of verbal talks which the viewer catches and those talks are quite twisted, where one faults in these talks and where one carries with these talks is how the story moves and the concept may be infused

Thats the whole purpose of this show and how they dwell this issue to show that these things exist in these ways in society and can be cured or destroy families and couples

Yes nothing can justify, why would a man have an EMA when he has a beautiful family and a wife who goes all out to everything to keep it intact is what the story dwells into.
Society should punish such people, These cases take place from varied groups of people right from the low class, to middle class to high class..

Sad but true so what they want to show which makes Mona shattered is the story's focus

Many of Ekta's shows have extra marital affair, so wats the big deal here ?? and wat do the other shpws promote , I mean wat moral value that u r expecting some proper"outcome" / "moral" with this soap, jus another soap, watch it if u like it or leave it...
