Rahul-Kakun's Relationship

I am missing the spark between them. I started watching the show, because of that chemistry, that spark, and the sweet way their relationship was developing. For me, it has always been unique and completely different from all other couples' lovestories on-screen. Now that I don't feel the spark between them, it's making me feel a little sad. What I don't understand is all the mistakes Ekta has made recently. Let's just review;
Her first mistake, in my opinion, was having Kakun marry Aman. They should've shown her running to get to the ceremony in time, or not completing the ceremony, but they shouldn't have shown them married. It might be another cultural boundary breaking for Ekta, or it may not. I can't say, because Ekta likes trying out how far she can go with something like marriage and divorces. But I just don't think that this was a wise move. The question is for many, I think, whether Rahul and Kakun are really divorced. How does the masses look at it? Are they divorced in their eyes just because the couple signed a piece of paper? What happened to religious and mental bonds? Because if you talk about that, then one can debate whether they are really divorced, or whether Kakun's married another man, while she's still religiously and heart-ly married to Rahul.
To her second mistake, still in my opinion; killing Naina. I think that she shouldn't have killed her. If Naina was needed out of the way for a while, she could've gone into a coma or something. Either way, I think that it happened a little too fast - as if the whole Aman being Naina's killer was something Ekta realized she wanted to do to prolong the show. It was too sudden and didn't make any sense. If you look at earlier episodes and listen to Aman's dialogues, then there were no signs of a psychic break-down, or even the hint of a defect in his brain. He was honest and good. If this was an idea Ekta had for a longer time, then she would've given Aman some manipulative dialogues, which we wouldn't notice until after we'd seen his true face - then we'd be able to go back and notice these things.
Now to her third mistake; Rahul accepting being Naina's killer. This did not make sense to me no matter how anyone explained it. Ekta's mistake here was that she turned Rahul into an even weaker character. Now was the time for Rahul to show that he was strong. If the plan was that Rahul should be in prison for a while, then Ekta could've turned things more sensibly. For instance; Rahul didn't accept the accusations, in fact he'd be anxious to get out and find the real killer. But because of solid proof against him, he was put behind bars. This would show him as a strong character. He'd be struggling against all odds to get out, to find the real killer - not only to be free, but to punish the man, who cold-bloodedly murdered his childhood friend/love.
The fourth mistake, which Ekta made; Rahul pushing Kakun to be with Aman. Now, in Rahul's head, Kakun can't do anything wrong. In his eyes, she's perfect. Then he should be trying to find out why she's distancing herself from Aman all of a sudden. Rahul knows that she and Aman has always been close, and now she's avoiding him? The point is that regardless of how she is with Aman - it's weird to show that Rahul's pushing her to be with Aman. Because Rahul is in love with her. And you'd never want to see your love belonging to someone else than you. Especially when Rahul knows that the only reason Kakun married Aman is because Naina was her sister and wanted Rahul. So he knows that she doesn't love Aman and can't be with him in that way. Then why's he pushing her? No matter how much you want to see your love happy, humans are selfish. And a part of him should want Kakun back, even though he doesn't do anything about it, there should be hints that it still exists in him.
Adding too; what gives him the right to interfere in his Bhabi and his brother's personal life? It's so weird. He's telling Kakun to be with Aman, and practically throwing honeymoon tickets at her, but isn't he just a little out of line? It's not his place to know what's going on between Aman and Kakun after dark. It's not his place to make them be together. No matter how much he wants her to move on. I found his scene with Kakun very offending for Kakun (even though she didn't). The way he was telling her to be happy with Aman, that she has to be happy with him. That she has to move on. He actually said; "I want to see you and Aman happy." Great. So that's what he wants. But what about what Kakun wants? Ever thought about that.
I greatly missed Kakun's strength in such scenes, because no matter how much she loves Rahul and wants to protect him - she's not the kind of woman to take crap like that from anyone. Yes, she's a victim, she's self-sacrificing etc., but her strength has always been her words, in my opinion, and she better soon stand up and ask Rahul to mind his own business. If she wants to protect him, she can do that by making Aman believe that she's distanced herself from Rahul permanently. That would a plan, I think.
To Ekta's fifth mistake; Kakun's once-intelligent character. Yes, N.O., didn't get that she was the person, who needed help. Fine. But then Kakun should've been shown stronger. There are more people outside the house, whom she can contact. All she need is an excuse to leave the house. I had imagined that this would be the time for Kakun and Devi to come together and fight the injustice against the person they both loved. This would be the time for mother and daughter to stand together, and we'd get to see more of Devi (who is an actress I absolutely adore) and Kakun. They had incredible chemistry, and their relationship was so beautiful. Devi has been missing for two episodes, that's fine. But I personally hope now, that Ekta will make Kakun go to Devi and tell her everything. And that mother and daughter will join hands. I don't think Aman will be expecting this, because Devi has been distant from Kakun lately.
At last, I'd like to say one more thing; I think that Kakun should be shown a whole lot smarter than before. if she wants to put Aman behind bars, she needs to make a plan. An idea would be that she pretends to be forgiving him, that she pretends to be a good wife, that she pretends to be distancing herself from Rahul, and pretends to support Aman. He's mentally ill, that's for sure. He's intelligent. But even he has a weakness. And that's his love for Kakun. If she pretends to love him back, he'll start slacking on senses, and stop watching her every step. At first he might be suspicious, but if she keeps it up, then I believe she has a shot. And I hope that if she makes such a plan, that she makes it with Devi. I'd like to see them joined after such a long while.

Well written and observed.

However u forgot Ekta's NEW mistake. In the last scene where Rahul goes to meet Naina, they play basketball and then after they r just standing still and their eyes meet and the moon is shown to hint that now Naina will START to have feelings for Rahul.
I was so mad whn I saw this scene. Yeah they r together in real life but in the drama life he should be with KK! I cant bare to see any romantic scenes bwt Naina and Rahul! Ekta wat r u doin???

I understand how you're feeling. The moon used to be a symbol of Rahul and Kakun's love.
To me, now it kinda feels like the moon has lost its meaning. It's just a moon now, whereas before, it was something more. I can't really explain it. But I feel that it doesn't symbolize their love anymore.

yeah the moon has certainly lost it's symbolism with love as it was the witness for Rahul/Anuragh and Kakoons love👎🏼

Rahul has changed. I think that it happened around the time he was put in prison for Naina's murder. It's understandable as I can imagine changes happening in a person, when he's witnessed death, more like murder. But I don't like his changes. It's frustrating and annoying and completely out of order. It's killing the sparks between him and Kakun big time, and I'm getting more and more anxious about their future, and just generally the future episodes.

Also, I hope that Kakun will soon show some spine. I mean, Aman didn't just kill her sister, he killed her trust, her blind faith in him, their friendship and most importantly - he betrayed her. Rahul betrayed once too, remember? How many times of betrayal and lies does it take for someone to break down completely, or get so much knocked down that there's nothing left of your feelings but rage and hurt?
She trusted him for, what, two years straight? It took her five minutes to process the fact that he murdered her sister - and even after that, she didn't get furious enough to at least slap him. Hello? She slapped Rahul for pulling her aside when she was about to step on a piece of glass. But maybe... hell, I don't have an explanation for covering this.

Begging the writers to make today's episode worth remembering for all Rahul and Kakun fans 😆

And even better if Devi appears in scenes with Kakun. Way better if Kakun tells her everything and they join forces 👏

Phew. It is good to know that I'm not the only one, who feels that way. I, too, believe that Rahul and Kakun have been forgotten in the sense of how symbolic and deep their love was. I am disappointed that there has been no follow-ups to the things Rahul said in the earlier episodes, as if they meant nothing. I mean the episodes before Naina's sudden death. Promises mean a lot. But it seems to me the promises Rahul made with Kakun meant nothing - if you watch the new episodes.
I am more concerned about the characters and their importance. What I mean is that each character has a special place in my heart, whether good or bad. Dinesh and Devi have been really important to me, and so has Kakun's entire family in Kolkatta. I sincerely hope that the writers aren't going to forget their importance or part to play in this show. I feel that Devi has been forgotten a little in Kakun's eyes, and the writers, too. I feel that they have forgotten the pain, which she must be going through at the loss of a daughter, and the fact that she believes Rahul is her killer and free. This must give her so many sleepless nights. Now, by making Kakun forget that she's supposed to punish Aman for his crime, by making her forget that she has a mother, who needs the peace, the peace of mind that her daughter has recieved justice, that her daughter has been revenged - are they making me feel sympathy for Kakun? No. I'm not feeling sympathy, I'm feeling irritation and frustration that she's not taking a stand. That again she's sweating about how Rahul's life is going to be four walls and bars, instead of thinking about all the other people, who will also suffer betrayal. Who, in fact, are suffering betrayal. Devi's pain shouldn't be forgotten. Not by Kakun.
I am not going to pretend that I hate Rahul, because I don't. Therefore I'm going to try and understand why he's not reacting on - since he claimed to be able to read the pain behind her smile - her unhappiness. I have two theories;
Number one; he's afraid to face the truth. That something's wrong. He doesn't believe that he has the strength to face it. He's purposely ignoring the signs, suppressing the things he see and turning them around to mean something other than they actually mean. For instance the cake-splattering scene. For a moment I actually saw anger on his face, anger at Aman for not being careful with Kakun - but when he went to check on Kakun, he turned things around, accusing her for not moving on etc. Because he simply can't face the truth. That something's very wrong about Aman.
Number two; He knows that she married Aman only because of her sister. Therefore, he sees her pain, but defines it as a reaction to that she doesn't love Aman and finds it hard to move on with him. And that it's even harder since she still loves Rahul. Which brings us to the scene when he decides to move away from her himself.
As for the Naina-Rahul scenes; they did burn me. I'm not going to pretend that I didn't want to push Naina from a very tall building. Heh. But then I kind of understand Rahul, and why he goes to meet with her, why he's leaning against her. He's lonely. Which is understandable, right? He needs someone, too. He's human, after all.
My only plea to Ekta and the writers is that they don't forget the soul of this show. What it used to be, the things that has happened, the dialogues and promises that have been said before Naina's death. Please, do not forget them. They mattered. Be fair to the characters we've grown to love, and some whom we loved right away. The characters, whom we've followed through heaven and hell for six months. And most importantly; please, be fair to the memory of Naina Baseen. She may have been bad, but she died good, and no matter how she was as a person, she was a huge part of this show for very long. I hope that you'll be fair to her character in the future. Give her character a fair closure.
And as for Rahul and Kakun; "Do not let your fire go out, spark by irreplaceable spark, in the hopeless swaps of the not-quite, the not-yet, and the not-at-all. Do not let the hero in your soul perish in lonely frustration for the life you deserved and have never been able to reach. The world you desire can be won. It exists. It is real. It is possible. It's yours." Don't let the fire of your love go out.
