My expectations from Rahul and Kakun's relationship in the future:
1. I want more romantic moments.
2. I want more scenes with them.
3. I want Rahul to begin to notice Aman's behavior around Kakun.
4. I want Rahul to feel upset with Aman at times.
5. I want Rahul to chase Kakun more.
6. I want Rahul to watch her more like the mirror-scene.
7. I want Kakun to stop focusing so much on Rahul. Let him fill that part.
8. I want Kakun to be stronger and in control around Rahul. Because that will burn him.

To all RaKun-fans: I think that I need a pep-talk. My RaKun-meter is down under zero today. With my friend making that RaKun-video, it got me really depressed watching how the show used to be. Man, I need one hugely romantic RaKun moment, something which can confirm that RaKun will find their way back to the way they used to be.

You are way right 😊
I was watching some of the earlier episodes the other day, and I realized that Ekta could have done things much better if she, instead of turning Aman evil in one second, had put the show on hiatus, on a break for some time. Just until she had figured out what she wanted to do, where she wanted to take the story-line. Not to mention, how she wanted to develop the characters. Aman could have been turned bad gradually, because that would have made more sense. If she had taken a break and figured out Aman's character before showing his bad side, then maybe things would have been less confusing concerning him. I still think that she needs to figure out if Aman has split personalites, or if he's just plain evil.
I wonder if she hired new writers for the show around the time following Naina's death. I mean, sometimes creatives change writers, because they want the writers on one show to work for another show instead and therefore they find some new writers to continue the story. But sometimes the new writers, because they're new, don't know the feel of the show, they don't understand the characters or relationships, because they haven't been around to develop them, to create them. Maybe that's why Rahul has turned into a confusing character now, along with Aman. Kakun is gradually returning to being herself, but I feel that Rahul's been sidelined for a really long time. He wasn't given the heroic importance. Maybe now that he knows about Tanu's pregnancy, he'll step up to his character and be a hero - along with Kakun, of course.
Too many insensible things have already happened. I really hope that from now on things will make sense and be more realistic in terms of situations and such. For instance, it would be realistic that by now Rahul will begin to be a little suspicious about Aman somehow. It will be realistic that Gayo, too, begins to notice some changes with Aman's character. It will be realistic that Devi and Kakun have a conversation in which Kakun somehow reveals that Rahul hasn't killed Tanu, or at least that Devi becomes skeptical about her daughter being happily married.
My point is, regardless of everything I wrote, that instead of quickly making up a new twist (evil-Aman) or ending the show promptly, Ekta should have taken a break, spent the time on planning what to do next. Up until Naina's death, I feel that there was a thread leading from the first episode and making sense of all the things that had happened. Then when Naina died, it felt like the thread was ripped, and I could feel that the writers had had no plan or whatsoever for the future of the show. It was all a moment's decision in order to continue the show. They should have ended with a cliffhanger - such as that it's the wedding day and Rahul is chasing Kakun, while Kakun is trying to get to the ceremony in time - and then taken a break until they had figured out a realistic, sensible story-line to continue with.
About Rahul and NainaO possible marriage; one thing is certain. If Rahul develops feelings for Naina, it will be very unrealistic and rubbish. The writers, Ekta, will be diminishing what the story had been about all along, they would be diminishing the concept, the point of the whole show, which is that Kakun is Rahul's first and only love, his world starts and ends with her. That he searches for company by spending time with Naina is something else. I don't mind that he's lonely and trying to find company in friends. But from being friends and actually developing feelings - that will be wrong and totally unrealistic considering what the show has been about since episode one.
It should be impossible for Rahul to move on with another woman, and if he does, it should be because he can't have Kakun and is forced to marry. There's a long way from forced marriage to actual feelings.

be warned this is long but wasnt suppose to be!
I agree like western dramas ekta shouldve stopped with the wedding and either left to our imagination that rahul+kk marry or not. she couldve either come back to it or finished it there.
by going on she 1st went back on her own word of a 70-80 episode drama not very professional, but also raised viewers expectations of wht was to come, and in that she went disasterly wrong!
with the intensity of the pre-wedding episodes it felt as though kdmh was coming to a climax and she was better off finishing but by continuing she totally lost the plot.
episodes were slow and boring, they didnt make sense storylines and promises were forgotten; it was as though we watching kdmh from a parallel universe-same actors but the story from another world!
ok so she wants a successful drama on 9x but that doesnt mean u continue on the one that is without thought and attention! she didnt have to turn aman into a killer to make him neg-there were other ways to do that, nor did she have to kill nainab-both actions were really stupid!
why not have rahul+kk marry and have aman causing problems in their marriage? to be honest aman being evil still doesnt work for;
1-nothing was shown previously, not even a hint and whn he fell in love with kk his thought was always abt uniting rahul+kk not taking advantage of the situation-which couldve ultimately led to kk falling for him.
2-they havent shown him as evil/neg, yes he killed nainab but neither has been nasty to kk, hes blackmailed her alittle but that is nothing to wht he could and should be doing if his character is so bad!
3-if hes meant to be mentally unstable then show it! show that hes suspicious of rahul-easily done by having words with Gayo, show him being possessive to kk wanting her at his side, always calling her, asking abt her. show mood swings- in episode 88 whn the hot water poured on kk hand he tried to help kk said 'dont touch me' aman response 'y whn u trusted me with everything i could do no wrong, i havent changed ur nazar of me has' hello am i the only one that this dialogue makes no sense?!
the non-creatives make aman confess to kk that he killed her sister and she is suppose to say 'oh aman it was naughty of u but i understand for u r sooooooooooo in love with me u couldnt bare the idea of me being with rahul and not u. dont worry its ok ur my bestfriend still, i trust u completely, u did it all for me' flutter of eyelashes!
oh please-we're gullible but not that gullible!
so we have aman who has no idea who or wht he is, then comes rahul!
oh boy wht ups and downs with him- as anurag he was funny, sweet, tender, the hero. as rahul he was wooden, selfish and uncaring to both kk and nainab. if i had my way i wouldve got kk and nainab to join together to teach him a lesson. he played with both of them and wht occures is his fault.
i think ekta has a soft spot for aamir thats why as rahul he got/took no blame for wht happen with kk and nainab was made to be the villian. as ive said before he is more of the villian for knowing it was wrong to do he went ahead with the plan. knowing kk was in love with him and innocent of all wrong doing he made it out as she was the one at fault, even whn he finally falls in love with kk does he try to tell everyone the truth oh no for he doesnt want his image tanished with his family-even now everyone thinks kk was in the wrong!
then he goes in to dewanapan mode of being this crazily in love aashiq! which was great to see as he actually acted! but then with the murder we go back to mr.wooden uncaring selfish twerp! i say that for not once did he even think that nainab killer was out there and maybe he should try and find him. then with kk we have all these lines 'u dont have to speak but i understand u' and 'u can lie but ur eyes tell truth'-excuse me those r just words for if u cared or knew the slightest abt kk ud know somwthing is wrong and no matter wht u know how important relationships r to kk do u really think that even while loving u but married to her bestfriend she wouldnt try to make the marriage work?! whts showing is that rahul is arrogrant enough to believe that kk would jepodise her marriage for no other reason then her love for rahul-which if he knew kk at all she would never do! with rahul its a circle-caring,uncaring,caring,uncaring if u want to talk abt mental inbalance then look at rahul rather then aman!
i like gayo role shes being the protective mother to her favorite son and also to one she feels most guilty abt. that he lost his 1st love, left the house, no one supported him has a chance at a 2nd love but which could be ruined by his younger bro. no problems shes a mother and has blinkers on the same was with devi and whn nainab persuaded her that kk was in the wrong, even whn finding out the truth she still supported nainab-a mother love etc-so we have the repeat with gayo, another circle.
nainao another circle in this case triangle with rahul at the centre, yarda, yarda, yarda no need to say more.
devi i find interesting for no other reason then abt time kdmh had a revenge plot. kk didnt want revenge she wanted anurag-unbelievable but true. so this is good to see, yeah its not fair wht shes doing to tanu but hey wht happened to her was also unfair-in particular it couldve been avoided if devi and kk just talked. this has got tobe 1 of the most unrealistic part to kdmh, i know there are many but this; after finding ur long lost daughter u spoke to her twice-once on the phone and the other at ur house each time for 2 minutes. thats just not on!
so we have a drama that was fast, exciting and interesting, many mistakes were made right from the beginning with plots and sub-plots not being followed through but it didnt matter cause the pace, story and fact we had an ending in sight meant we didnt care greatly. but know with it to continue ekta and non-creatives have got to change their approach; theyve got to take care of the characters, of the plots and wht has been said previously otherwise it is easy to turn off!
thanks guys for rading i know its really long but im getting fed up with so much that i swear if it wasnt for the 'healing' scene and this forum i wouldve said 'see u later folks'!

You made valid points, Shasha 👏
I am crossing fingers that Ekta has learnt from her mistakes and is going to make the show worth it now.
