I have one more thing to say about Kakun, though.
The writers need to change her character now. I mean, it is time that they either show her breaking down completely or turning into a hard fighter, because this is the third time she has been betrayed. And not by anyone random, but by Aman. The person she came to trust more than she ever trusted Rahul. Betrayed once and a person breaks down, a person is in pain and confused, a person has to learn to stand up again and move on. But Kakun has been betrayed so many times that some of her emotions must have died in the process. Trust, for one thing. Happiness, for another. Care, for a third.
The writers need to show her change, they need to show how Aman did not only kill her sister. He also killed a trusted friend, he killed her emotions, her care, her trust, her belief in that there are people in the world who are just good, he killed a part of her - and for all this, he will be punished.

I really like the tension between them. It was there in today's episode, too. However, I think that the writers needs to focus more on the spoken dialogues. They are not making any sense combined with the scene. For instance the scene in which Rahul claims to understand her thoughts, even though she's silent. Yeah, it's completely obvious how she feels, but regardless. He doesn't understand her thoughts, because if he did, then he would know that something was so wrong between her and Aman, wrong in the sense of the way Aman's behaving and not the way Kakun's behaving. But I think that's too much to expect. It just gets to me, when the dialogues are going against the story-line like that.
The real question is not whether he understands her. The real question is; does he really know her as well as he think? Because I think that she's changed a little.

Yeah, but I will be so disappointed if there are no Rahul and Kakun moments pre-marriage at least. That is if they end up getting married at some point, which I seriously doubt.

Anyhow. I was watching the engagement episodes, and the scene in Rahul's room, when he grabs Kakun and tells her that he cannot forget her. Man, that was beautiful. I really miss that chemistry, that spark and that powerfulness in their scenes together now. Even without touching her, his eyes used to say everything and I absolutely loved that. Their scenes used to be so intense, the dialogues so incredible - it feels like the writers have been slacking on that lately. I miss it so much. The way the episodes used to be. I know that some changes are good, but I do not like these new changes. And I do not like Naina Oberoi anymore.
I'm really missing Kakun's strengthful character, I'm missing Rahul's possessiveness, I'm missing Devi's love and protectiveness of Kakun. In general, I'm just missing these three characters, because those are the ones that I enjoyed watching interact. Especially when the writers used to be more into their scenes together and write incredible dialogues, and create sparkling chemistry between Rahul-Kakun and Devi-Kakun.

I have just seen the promo for the episodes coming up this week, and I need to vent something.
Is it just me or are the writers thoroughly ruining everything that symbolized the uniqueness of Rahul and Kakun's love? First the moon. Now this. I am talking about Naina O., falling in love with Rahul. You know, it's fine if she's falling in love with him. Hell, she can be all over him, for all I care. But what I cannot take, what really bugs the hell out of me is when they give her Kakun's part.
In the promo, Naina O., clearly wonders why she's beginning to sense Rahul's feelings. If I understood this correctly, then what she means is that she understands him, his feelings, even though he doesn't speak a word, even though he smiles and pretends. Now if I'm not completely off-tracked concerning this show, then that understanding-Rahul ability was something which only existed in Kakun. Which was what made the couple's love so special. No one understood Rahul like Kakun. No one knew his feelings like her. Naina Basin, his childhood best friend and love, didn't even understand him. Kakun did. But then the writers and Ekta screwed up by killing Naina and turning Kakun into a dense, weak character - and instead they put in Naina O., who is the new I-understand-Rahul-and-no-one-else.
Look. Naina O., is the complete opposite of Naina Basin. Both share the same name, but not personality. Kakun was the good love, Naina Basin was the bad love. Now, apparently, Naina O., is the good love, too, which I bet they're going to put Rahul in a dilemma. Who's he going to choose (when/if Kakun-Aman get divorced)? Because they're both so good to him. All sugar and love.
I mean it. If at the time he get to choose between Kakun and Naina O., - whatever the reason - if he even as much as hesitates about who to choose (Kakun. Hello?) then I will hate this show forever, along with the writers and Ekta. Because that will be diminishing RaKun's love and claim that it never existed, and if it did, then it was never deep enough, never unique enough, and never true enough. If he even as much as gets more-than-friendly-feelings towards Naina O., I'm off this show for good. Thank you very much.
Done venting.

that is without a doubt! a more stupid guy then rahul ive yet to see even aman has more brains then him-having set everything in motion to get kk he got her and almost destroyed her love for rahul too!
whn it ended rahul said u used to speak but i couldnt understand but u say nothing now and i understand- ive got a bad feeling that hes not understanding anything otherwise whn aman put the cake on kk face he wouldnt of had a go at her rather asked wht the matter, whts going on, things r not right between her and aman.
but on no gets his own funny ideas in his head-rahul dont think ask, demand dont take no for an answer-u can sense something is wrong find out!
but nope-its off with the old love and on with the new-hello nainao!
fine ekta but at least make kk strong-at least make her go after aman hes the one who has destroyed all her happiness and her mother!
at least if we get 2 storylines 1 romantic and the other revenge it may bring some life back to kdmh-at this moment in time its flat lining especially without the rakun moments.
boy the more i write abt it the more annoyed i get! talk abt bug heads who have destroyed a perfectly good drama cause they can!
i hope that Mridul does read this forum and does read our comments as pass on our views to those idiots called writers!

I am thinking that if they just make Kakun's character really strong and she joins forces with Devi in the fight against Aman, then at least that will keep me hooked to the show for another month.
I have given up on RaKun true love. And I have started to dislike Rahul.
Anyway, I agree with you, shasha.

Man, I miss Rahul as Anurag around Kakun so much. They were sparkling together.
He had been missing for so long, and then they showed him a little during the engagement episodes, and the chemistry between him and Kakun was on fire, and now he's gone again. Miss, miss, miss him like that around Kakun.
Just missing RaKun.

Elysia u took the words out of my mouth!

I like rahul as anurag too-he was fun, had character, their was depth to him.
rahul i found 1 sided; he got away with too much.
nothing was ever his fault, all blame was put on to nainab but i think he was more at fault then her cause he didnt want to do it, knew it was wrong but still went ahead with the plan.
also knowing that he and nainab was wrong, knowing kk as well as he did; that she was innocent of all wrong doing, he still made t out that she was at fault and got away with it!
thats not hero material! the only time as rahul he was at his best was whn he became anurag again- by that i mean whn he started to have feeling for kk-
personally i think the feelings for kk never left but cause he was used to the idea that nainab was his love he couldnt see beyond that but as he got to know kk once again and how she was the opposite of nainab-giving instead of taking, he saw kk of kolkatta and he couldnt close away the feelings he had for as anurag but this time he wasnt playing a role, this time it was rahul who was falling in love with kk.
so we see rahul going through the transition of falling for kk and again we get the 'anurag' we all liked ie the pulling of the shirt button while kk was in the room, rather then rahul who get himself out of a paper bag!
the build was so good-u could feel his confusion, pain, love hatred for kk whn he declared his love but she was having none of it-u really felt for him and even knowing as we did y kk was doing it u wanted to tell 'her stop this is wht u want go for it!' just for his sake!
but then came the inevitable let down and once again we had mr. one dimension rahul punj! he is just sooooooooooooooo boring! especially as he bleats on abt love whn he has no idea abt it!
agh! give me strength wish he got killed instead of nainab if this is all we're getting mr.pretty boy!
out of interest started watching kehe na kehe and takes time but its not to bad and at this moment more interesting then kdmh!
