I think they are not ready for older look.because years back famous actresses used to say that they will play middle aged roles only if they are given a young stylish look.

In ssk dheeraj dipika played middle aged patents for many months.wheb they quit only they brought replacement.here shraddha didnt quit.

Shaurya is no where like karan.Karan luthra was a funny flirt.but he was loving and good at heart.but shaurya is a brat who doesn't even respect elders.

I agree with you.it would have been better if they chose an actor who matches others in age.but most probably most of the young actors must have refused to play the middle aged karan.

Shaurya was literally trying to being Karan luthra...But the way dheeraj made that funny flirty Karan luthra before marriage.... Shaurya was disaster to that ..They are already sinking in the matter of storyline...Abi Tak issiliye survive kar rah dhi just because of actors chemistry...Itna saari toxicity dhikayi phir bhi just because of actors they survive it..... Giving new faces chance is very good ...But when the show only going on just because of actors acting they should consider established actors for their leap and the actors that should make a potential couple or chemistry... After all this is a Balaji show ...They won't have any lack of actors ...

I saw the one that says he is 40 and i believe in it coz he does look like one . He looks older than shraa Dheeraj and shakti.

Plus lately Shakti while exiting kundali shared his gratitude with the cast on his insta and for manit he stated thanks for being there as older brother.

Or ek baar jo Manit ke chote bhai ki biwi ne bhi confirm kiya tha ki uski DOB 1987 hai .

DD is 2 year elder then him and Shakti is one year elder then him.

I was thinking about this and it occurred to me that the new guy simply looks so out of place. With him, this show feels like a different genre. So, if they wanted a father figure to take the story forward post original cast slowly being phased out - they should have taken a hard call and replaced Preeta too. But that was too risky. BUT..right now, he looks too old for Karan while the rest of the cast seems stuck in a time loop forever young. Classic casting botch up!

I randomly saw a promo on YouTube after ages..damn I thought they replaced Mahesh…after replacing Karan earlier 🤣But no, this is yet another face for Karan with a second plastic surgery…oh wow. Except no one else has aged... only Karan has what’s wrong with them, this is so absurd 🤣

It’s a such a complete misfit. Don’t they see it themselves or the channel?
