Sumit is shocked when he learns about Ashka's miscarriage. He tries to meet her but finds that she has left the hospital. Ashka tries to call Sumit and but Sumit disconnects the phone. Sumit tries calling Kumkum to enquire about Ashka but she avoids his calls. And finally when she answers the call she is realises it's Nivedita on line. Kumkum asks Nivedita not to interfere in her life and congratulates her for having Sumit and tells her to convey Sumit that she has given up on him and hangs up. Sumit is shocked.
