Pragya x Prachi

I am confused. Pragya has been shown gone for 2 years, presumed dead.. I understand she thought it was her husband who wanted her dead so she let him believe she is dead, planning revenge, but how can a mother let her daughter live with the trauma of losing her? Even if we give benefit of doubt that she somehow had some absurd reason like no one can find out crap, she spent an entire day obsessing about meeting Abhi, but didn't once try to find her daughter??

I know right. She never thought of finding saritaji,prachi,shahna and all? Even Rhea, yes she was evil but pragya knew about Rhea's suicide attempt so as a mother she didn't even care to se if she is alive or not? Or how is abhi treating prachi and if she was welcomed by the Kohlis or something? I thought pragya and prachi were inseparable.

Well I thought of giving Prachi’s mother few days to see if she remembers her daughters but alas i have been proven wrong again! She genuinely doesn’t care a tiny bit about her daughters especially Prachi! She knows Prachi tried to sacrifice her love for her parents and loves her no matter what yet she let her think she’s dead and Prachi still has nightmares about her! Let her live with the trauma of losing the only parent she had or had known! Her father gives a rat’s a** about her and yes she believes Ranbir would care for her no matter what because she knows he loves her like crazy and wouldn’t let her go away from him but still a small phone call would have done the job!

Watched few scenes of Prachi’s mother! She’s apparently too obsessed in finding her husband, his sister and his current wife! Didn’t even remember her daughters when her aunty/sister/friend/mother idk was narrating sob story of her daughter! Apparently she worked hard to become a successful businesswoman to shove it in their faces! That’s perhaps the only goal left for her! A daughter who genuinely loves her doesn’t matter to her! I understand she helped her get married and she herself said it’s not her fault that her father is mad! Still.. goes against her character! Even that aunty says she’s losing her sanity obsessing over her husband!

This show has one one of the worst parents ever. They never give a shit about their kids, only their own love story - in which they've ruined themselves multiple times by NEVER COMMUNICATING or listening to each other. And it's not just Pragya, but also Abhi - he is worse. He always leaves Pragya because he sees her as a bad mother, etc. - but he does jack for his own kids. Never knows anything about them or seem to care

Also I don't understand why he is always crying over her after every leap when he is the one who breaks the relationship EVERY TIME. the consistency of the writers is a joke

I believe it's a blessing in disguise. Staying with mummy Papa had brought nothing but headache and heartache for both Pranbir. Staying away from them has brought true happiness. Pranbir should just stay away from the mess of Mehras and Kohlis. I wish mummy Papa never remembers Prachi and Kohlis don't ever acknowledge Prachi. That way Pranbir can stay away and happy in their beautiful little world.

I actually agree, they are happy in the small world where none of them is getting instigated by their parents into sacrifices like before. My observation was mostly from the POV of a mother letting her daughter suffer and only obsessed with her husband who "tried to kill her" according to her. It goes to show how we have a habit of fixating on the bad in life rather than embracing and being happy with the good we have.

Pragya understands the loss her aunty felt at the loss of her daughter, but even when she discusses mother daughter with her, she never remembers her "achi wali" daughter also, and that is what is disturbing.

Both parents so called love birds never bothered to ask Ranbir whom he loves....Father jumped to conclusion Prachi brainwashed Ranbir....eventhough he knew he had proposed her.
