That's because ranbir didn't know or understand that love isn't based on compatibility. Love is spontaneous and depends on who your heart makes an emotional connection to. There was zero emotional connection between rhea and ranbir. Their entire non-existent relationship was crushing on each other just because they thought they were similar.

Yeah I was shocked when years later I learned kunal and pooja were real life couple ❤️

Her husband basically dressed and looked just like srk's bespectacled character in rab ne bana di jodi. At first they showed him as someone who was meek, extremely traditional and who put his family before everything, he found out about vrinda and yug love and when he got to know vrinda didn't want to marry him, he old vrinda she could leave after his grandmother's death who was apparently dying (I don't ever remember the buddi dying though lol). He was a very very boring character, but once vrinda fell in love with him, he turned the typical husband who never believes his wife, and eventually threw her out of his life over their child's death. Only in last episode he realised how he wronged her, but at that point fans didn't care and just wanted yug and vinrda, but that didn't happen. Basically right from beginning the viewers were cheated into thinking vrinda and yug would be end game but it never ever happened. 🤢

I think she has already started to feel something since the rain. Today too she was looking lovingly at Ranbir so it seems by the time she knows the truth I think she will be in love with him
