Yes Purab was important. But they mixed him up. He does cheat BB in there but not the way they showed in the soap. And BB gets seriously heartbroken with Purab and finds comfort in Suresh. But they gave some of Purab's stuff to Aakash. Lol.

Even Tannu character is there! But not like this hahaha!

Abhi's plot is similar but character traits are poles apart from Edward there!

Having said that, in an early IV itself Shabz said the story is not based on novel! So it's all a rumor given the story of two sisters they showed in the beginning. I think they took characters at a face value form the novel and then started their typical drama.

There is no other male character in KB now that has a characteristic of its own.. Suresh would have been my choice otherwise.

If you allow me to choose female characters, I want him to play Aalu.. I mean a male version.
