I don't believe he was trying to console her at any point. In the end, when he allowed her to hold onto him and reached out to stroke her head, I think that was more on automatic than intentional. And I definitely like to see Abhi demonstrating basic human decency by holding a bereaved woman who has noone else, but I don't give him credit for anything more than that, and it frustrates me that he isn't better than he is.

@Mina . I agree with with totally. When Abhi was saying those harsh words to Pragya , I really , I mean really wanted Pragya to Slap him (Pragya has not returned his slap yet) But I knew somewhere she would not. I wanted to get into the TV and do the slapping part myself then . But CVs will not give me the chance. 😕

Oh if Abhi ever got all the slaps he deserved from Pragya...he would not be left standing. Like you, I don't approve of slapping in real life, but Abhi's behaviour often makes me absolutely ache for him to face some immediate and deep punishment and consequences, so...I know what you mean!!

His hug cannot possibly make up for all the ways he hurts her. As you know, I also disagree with you intensely!

Pragya's karma is connected to abhi's karma...because of her love..and she is going through all this because of his karma..because this is what she is doing for his protection...alia..raj..tanu would of killed him already...if pragya did not carry out this plan that dadi concocted...she did this to keep abhi alive...do you seriously think after alia had the gall to pelt her brother and hit him on his head and has goons attack him that she wouldn't have rubbed him blind and killed him too...so all this that she is going through is abhi's karma..and sarla ma goes off the dead end with all of them..she threw bulbul..purvi out of the house..no questions asked..how can pragya console her...she made an attempt in the hospital...just as dadi knows her grandchildren..so too pragya knows she cannot console her mother at this time even if she desperately wanted to..

Pragya is not responsible for Abhi being an insensitive and self-centered kind of person. Maybe Daadi is partially responsible but Abhi is also a grown man so it's a personal failing on him too. No one made him "test" Pragya today. That was his own choice to satisfy his own understanding of the situation. He didn't care about hurting her because he already decided she was inhuman.
