"Abhi, you hid this from me? Me? Me? I cant believe it" huffed Purab dramatically. Abhi rolled his eyes, what was with Purab and his drama? Earlier he used to be such an understanding guy, Bulbul sure seems to have an influence on his brother from another mother now. As much as he tried explaining Purab calmly, he never understood, and at the end stole his eyes when he murmured something about Bulbul knowing too. He didn't think much about Bulbul knowing, Fuggy had texted him the other day about it - but wait, if Bulbul didn't tell him, how did Purab know? Now it was Purab's turn to calm him and he jumped up and down in anger learning of Purab's little adventure!
***
It was later that evening when both the Arora sister's cheerfully left home, bidding goodbye to an ever concerned Sarla and a cautious Rodaadi - Purab was taking the girls out for dinner they told them.
After sometime had passed, Rodaadi decided to go out too, she planned to follow her grand-daughters, she didn't bother Sarla, but she was sure these two were up to something! As her rickshaw chased her grand-daughters, she really did feel like James Bond for a bit. Meanwhile Bulbul and Pragya had reached the destination to find an ever impatient Abhi waiting for his Fuggy and Purab behind him, hiding a smirk. As the sisters approached them they both had big smile up their face, it felt like college days again, double date with the sweet hearts.
Abhi took Pragya's hand and guided her to his car and Purab and Bubul followed with teasing smiles. Just as they were about to enter the car, they heard a voice from behind, "STOP" all were surprised and turned to look at Rodaadi coming out of her rickshaw. Everyone was at a loss and daadi seemed very cross with her children. Pragya waited with baited breath, their game was up. Abhi's clutch on her wrist tightened, it was as if he could almost feel the impending separation. But before anybody could speak, Bulbul began.
"Daadi, you are here? Thank-God you've come. You know our rickshaw broke down in this lonely road, and we were stranded, it's so unsafe nah? I called Purab. He was with Abhi and he was dropping Purab at our restaurant, but thankfully they were closeby and came to pick us up."
Abhi could feel Pragya's tensed body relaxing, he heaved a sigh of relief too. Daadi eyed everyone wordlessly and when she looked at Abhi, she held her stare a fraction longer. But she didn't say anything. She turned to the girls and said, they had enough adventure for the night, and they should return home with her in her rickshaw. As the sister's reluctantly followed their daadi, Purab turned and found a dejected Abhi.
"Purab this cant go on, I have to have Fuggy now. Everytime..."
Purab understood how low he felt, and gently patted his shoulder. Time was ripe, if di and Abhi both loved each other this intensely, it was senseless to keep them so far apart. He told Abhi that enough was enough, they shouldn't worry about consequences and come out in the open and tell the people what they felt for each other. Then ABhi could claim his rights on his Fuggy and fight all the resistance they face upfront. It didn't take long to convince Abhi, he had half a mind of doing this himself, but stopped short thinking of Pragya, but if the universe conspired against them, he wasn't sure he'd play fair anymore. It was decided, that in two days he would take Purab and go to Pragya's house and ask Sarla aunty for her hand - then when she flips, they will take time, confront and convince her. That seemed the best way out now.

Pragya was sitting in the hall and staring at the television screen pretending to watch what her mom and granny was watching. Sometimes she shot troubled looks at Bulbul, but she looked equally confused. The last night while returning, her daadi had made it clear that she doubted Abhi's intention the moment her cough syrup had gone missing, but she was quiet because she trusted Pragya - she told her to stay at home and had confiscated her phone before entering their house. Bulbul was instructed to not lend her phone to Pragya and she meekly agreed. Both sisters panicked thinking what if Abhi tried calling her? Bulbul expected them to call her, but so far none did. As for her calling them, daadi seemed to keep an eye on her always.
Between ABhi and Purab it was decided, they would give the Arora's a day to settle things, they anticipated calling right now could worsen things - as an impatient Abhi helplessly looked up at the sky from his bedroom window, a restless Pragya decided to call it a night and retire to her room - if she didn't go now, her mother would start noticing her troubled look. She was going to her room when Daadi cleared her voice, and Sarla looked tensed for some reason.
"Pragya be dressed up and ready by 4PM tomorrow, my friend from Ludhiana Aanchal is coming tomorrow with her family to visit us, with her grandson Harmeet's marriage proposal with you. No Pragya we want no arguments, it is decided you will meet him"
Pragya really didn't have it in her to argue, she just dashed inside her bedroom panicking and shut the door behind her - Seeing her Bulbul realized, it was now a call for desperation and ran to the terrace to call Purab.
