"Arre Harmeet, you are not eating anything only. Eat one more samosa nah? Please?" requested Pragya with fluttery eyes much to Bulbul and Purab's amusement and Sarla and Rodaadi's astonishment.
"No no ji, I am on a diaaat ji" replied Harmeet, with a smug smile, surely he had impressed Pragya ji enough to have her fawning over him thus.
"Arre diet? But you are so fit! You don't need it, as for those extra kilos, only they make a man of you now don't they?" said Pragya cheerfully and handed him another samosa - at this point Bulbul couldn't control a snort and that earned her an admonishing stare from Sarla - poor Sarla was too confused. Suddenly beeji demanding Pragya's proposal for marriage, and Pragya was not only okay with it, but literally doting on this Harmeet - well to be honest she didn't think much of him. But her daughter was a divorcee, she was lucky to get her married again, forget about better men. There was nothing wrong with Harmeet, he was just a little sloppy unlike Abh---no she wasn't going to compare Harmeet with that cheater, she firmly told herself.
She went inside the kitchen after excusing herself, and motioned for beeji to follow. Once in the kitchen, she looked at beeji concerned.
"Beeji, are you sure everything is okay? Why, I mean how is she so happy? And she seems to like him. Beeji is there something wrong?"
"Uff Sarla, cant you let her be happy at least without panicking?" she asked impatiently and dismissed Sarla's concern, but she was confused too. Until yesterday she was sure something was cooking between Abhi and Pragya, but if it were true why was Pragya not showing resistance? Why was she so happy and chatty with this silly Harmeet? Did she really move on? Was she really wrong? If so, then why was she hurrying along with her marriage with just about anybody? They should look for more options nah? As long as she wasn't returning to Abhi, she could take some-time to choose a nice boy she thought - but by the looks of it, she was sure, Pragya would say yes to him.
Therefore, Sarla and Daadi were much relieved when Pragya told them after the guests had left that, she would take time to answer his proposal. She couldn't say no because she liked him, but she wasn't sure. She needed two days. Both the older woman sighed in relief, this sounded much more like their Pragya.
Of course now that daadi knew she was having a misunderstanding, Pragya's phone was returned to her and no one was tracing the sister's activity. Finally they had the free pass. The only bummer was Harmeet's constant messages asking her to hurry up so they could book their honeymoon flight whilst the discounts were available!

"So a little bit of fat made him manly huh?" asked Abhi indignantly. They were meeting at Abhi's farm house - their shippers Purab and Bulbul had dropped her here and gone for the day. Pragya looked up surprised to hear he knew all that - but she supressed a smile.
"I was just being friendly to keep the show going Abhi" she teased back.
"I asked you to play along not flirt with a random monkey" he retorted through gritted teeth and Pragya could help but laugh at him. He was adorable she thought lovingly.
"Hey why don't you help me with selecting a honeymoon destination?" she asked innocently and Abhi's face turned from annoyance to surprise to a smirk.
"Honeymoon huh? Where do you want to go love? Spain? Italy? France?"
"I was thinking of Kerala, it's in the discount scheme also. Wait let me inform Harmeet" she replied again trying hard not to laugh - Abhi's look changed from confusion to a glare as he realized she was still teasing him.
"Fine go with Harmeet. I am leaving" he said and motioned to get up. Pragya laughed, she had stretched it far enough and now she pulled him back and hugged him and laughed wholeheartedly. Abhi, though he had cooled, he attempted to mock anger still securely holding onto her waist.
"You love me right?" he asked her uncertainly. He knew the answer, he didn't doubt it, but still something possessive struck him at the mention of Harmeet, Pragya and honeymoon in the same sentence.
In answer, Pragya swiftly lifted her face and slightly pecked him on his lips and continued hugging him. Surprised though he was, he felt reassured all the same. Pragya was all his.
