Purab and Pragya sit on the sand ,facing each other. "Ab bathao Chote.. Kya Baath hai ?"
"Di.. I don't know how to start .. Just hear me out okay ?"
"Okay I won't interfere .. pacca"
He takes a deep breath and says .. "Okay Di.. I love nightingale "
"What ? "
"Ya Di ..", he says and goes into details about how he first saved her , she misunderstood him but later apologised .. how see saw her sing and fell in love with her voice , about the time they spent roaming around the city and all other small outings every weekend .. how she became his closest friend and how he fell in love with her bubbly nature
Pragya knows some incidents already, like the first time he saved that girl and few other from what her chote already told her, whenever they spoke. But because they hardly spoke the last few weeks he was there, few incidents were new to her . She was very happy for her chote as the girl seemed nice.. but he was still young and she had to guide him properly.
"Chote..you sure you love her and it's not just immense liking for a very close friend ?"
"Ya Di pacca ! I love her .. I wanted to tell you first and see what you think about it and thought I will tell ma and pa and then propose to her when I go back ".
Abhi and Bulbul are walking on the sand .
"Bhaiii how long are we going to keep walking? Come na let's go to the sea"
"Okay gudiya let's go 😊 "
They go and have a LOT of fun in the water splashing it around and at each other.
They decide to get back to the sand for sometime and then come back to the water later.
So they start walking again when Abhi suddenly sees Pragya sitting at a short distance from them. She looks cute in a black t shirt and a blue three fourth jeans , curly hair falling upto her shoulders.
"Pragya ? Why will she be here ? Oh wait ! This is not London anymore so this need not be my imagination .. But is that a guy with her ? Wait a minute .. Oh god does Pragya like someone else ?!"
Abhi is not able to see Purab , as Purab is facing Pragya. He is shattered with the prospect of Pragya liking someone other than him.😭
Bulbul who was walking without realising that her Bhai is not beside her, suddenly senses his absence and turns to see him standing rooted to his spot.
"Bhai ? Bhai Kya hua? Why aren't you coming ?"
She follows his gaze and sees Pragya Di there . She runs to Abhi and says .. "Bhaiii it's Pragya Di! Come na lets go.. why are you standing here ? Now both of us can see her reaction for our surprise yayyy 🥳!" .
"Bulbul .. "
"Bulbul ? Bhai you never call me Bulbul ! 😲 what's wrong ?"
"Gudiya I don't know if I am over reacting but I think she likes someone else "
"Kya?"
He points to the guy sitting facing Pragya..
Bulbul looks at him and thinks .. :Why does he look familiar ?.."
"Bhaaii what are you saying ? It can be anyone ! Friend, cousin.. Just anyone ! Come on let's go meet her !"
Abhi's face brightens when he hears that and he says "Oh I didn't think of that ! The moment I saw her with a guy a feeling of insecurity set in .Okay fine let's go 😊 "
"Aww Bhai ! You love Di so much ".
Abhi nods and smiles at her and they both walk up to Pragya . Pragya , who is busy talking to Purab senses someone coming towards them and looks up to see Abhi and Bulbul staring back at her .. Abhi with an unreadable expression (cos he is still unsure about the guy 😆 Our Abhi is adorable isn't he ? 😆) and Bulbul with a wideee grin on her face !
Pragya gets up and Purab also gets up looking at her. Before he could, turn he hears...
"Pragya Diii...", Bulbul shouts and goes to hug Pragya.
Pragya is surprised to find them there and asks.."Bulbul ? Abhi? Aap log yahan?"
Purab sees Bulbul hugging Pragya and is confused, to say the least..😆
Abhi sees that the guy is Purab and is relieved, to say the least..😆
Purab thinks.. "Bulbul ? And she knows Pragya Di ? And Abhi Bhai? What Is bulbul doing with Abhi Bhai?"
He calls out .. "Bulbul ?"
Bulbul recognises the voice and pulls out of the hug.
"Purab ! Tum ?? 😲 "
"Bulbul..I must be asking you this ! When did you come to India ? "
"I wanted to tell you Purab but then thought of surprising you 😃. But first tell me this . How do you know Pragya Di ?"
"She is my sister and that's how I know her ! How do YOU know her and BTW how do you know Abhi Bhai ?"
"Abhi Bhai ? Arey! he is my brother and that's how I know him and I know Pragya Di because of Bhai. I love her designs and she designed one dress for me and we have been talking ever since..So wait..you are Pragya Di's Bhai and I am Abhi Bhai's behen?"
"Well I guess that pretty much sums it up , yes"
Pragya and Abhi are surprised to see their little brother and sister talking like they know each other for a very long time..So Pragya says.."Guys guys wait a minute..How do you know each other ?!"
"Woh Di.. this is Nightingale 😳 "
"WHAT ?!!! Bulbul ?"
"Haan Di 😳 "
Pragya can't believe the game fate is playing in their lives 😆
Abhi asks .. "Nightingale ? "
Bulbul, who isn't aware of Purab's confession to Pragya about his loving a Nightingale AKA her, answers.."That's how he calls me Bhai 😊 and btw this is the guy friend of mine in London. Somehow I never got to tell you his name. Also, remember I told you about a guy who fought with others when they were coming after me on Ananya's b'day and whom I misunderstood ? That's Purab "
"WHAT ? Purab ?"
"Haan Bhai 😊 How do you know Purab though ?"
"I met him at Rohan's fundraiser while waiting for you during dinner . Forgot to mention it to you"
"You met him that day ? I was looking for him all around the place wanting to apologise to him and that's why I even got late for dinner.."
"You are never on time Gudiya. If you had come as soon as I had called you for dinner, you would've met him too "
Bulbul pouts while the others smile at her .All are still surprised at this sudden revelation / realisation that it takes time for it to sink in . They keep staring at each other thinking of all the times each has mentioned about the other but never really knew it was their loving brother or sister.Finally, Bulbul breaks the silence..
"Okay.. if we are done staring at each other and getting lost in our own thoughts about the number of times we have been stupid enough to not realise that it's just us ..can we go to the water for sometime ?😃"
All smile at that and Abhi and Pragya say at the same time .."Nahi Bulbul/Gudiya.. You go na I'll come in a while"
They stare at each other,surprised at the perfect timing.. Purab and Bulbul chuckle at that 😆
"What Bhai and Di ! Don't be spoil sports come on na "
This time Abhi answers . "Don't force us Gudiya .You both go have fun..Anyway I just came with you sometime back na "
"Ahem okay bye . You both have fun too"she says and Purab winks at Pragya and walks away shouting "Bye Di .. Bye Bhai"
Abhi and Pragya sit down on the sand beside each other..Abhi plays with the sand and Pragya looks at Purab and Bulbul who are having fun splashing water at each other.. Pragya turns and sees Abhi looking at her..
They have an eye lock ,each not able to take their eyes off the other. Some random kid shouting somewhere close by, brings them out of their own world 😃
"So fan girl , finally we meet"
"I guess so , boss 😊 "
"So how are you ?"
"I am cool . When did you come here?"
"Two days back only. Gudiya wanted it to be a surprise so we didn't tell you earlier and I thought of telling you tonight "
"Oh that's sweet. I LOVE surprises" , Pragya says, smiling like a kid.
Abhi smiles at her and asks"When did Purab come back ?"
"Last week . His two month course got over for now so he is back .. He will go back after he decides on what he wants to do in future "
"Oh Awesome. He has great potential 😊 "
"😊 .. You come once a year right ?"
"Ya for Dadi ! We miss her a lot there and same with her here. But she doesn't want to come stay with us cos she doesn't want to leave this house where Dadaji breathed his last.."
"Oh .. She will be very happy now "
"Yes she is . I love her and and can do anything to keep her happy . So despite Gudiya asking us to keep our visit a secret to surprise dadi, I couldn't not tell her when she asked if I forgot about our yearly plan . She covered up well by acting excited when we came here though . Darling my budiya is ❤️ "
Pragya laughs at how he describes his dadi a darling budiya and sees the love he has for his dadi, in his eyes and with the way he gets excited,talking about her.
"I will just keep falling for every single line he says "
"I want to meet her sometime too"
"Come home for lunch one day . Ma and pa will also be happy to meet you. Dadi tho already knows you and would love to see you again"
"Already knows me ? Kaise?"
He describes the temple incident that Dadi had told him long back and says"Aise 😊 "
"Wow I didn't realise someone was noticing the conversation at all !".
"She was all praise for you that day . That was when you walked the ramp for our show here and we both were watching the news and she told me you were the same girl she met in the temple "
"Wow..All this is making me conscious now . Guess I should look around the next time I talk to someone in a public place.. " , she says and pretends to look around
Abhi laughs at that and thinks"Man MV ! she is so cute I can just keep falling in love with every cute action and expression of hers . I will propose to her soon 😎 "
They continue chatting about random things and they are so at ease with each other that the only thought going around in their minds is
"I am going to propose to him/her soon. After that whatever happens can happen but I can't not let him/her know any further cos I have fallen hard for him/her. Chote/ Gudiya is right. I can't give up without trying "
Pragya thinks if she should tell Abhi about Purab loving bulbul but decides to wait for Purab to let their parents know and propose to Bulbul before telling him.
Purab and Bulbul are having fun in the water.
"Bulbul.. What do we do about these two ?"
"Matlab?"
"Di loves Abhi Bhai but is scared to tell him for fear of losing the bond they share now "
"WHAT?!!! Pragya Di loves Bhai ?!"
"Yes.. but why are you so shocked or surprised or whatever ?"
"Cos Bhai is in the same situation! He is madly in love with Di but is scared to propose to her for fear of losing her friendship "
"OMG are you serious ?! Di is going to jump up and down when she knows this "
"Wow wow Purab! Now Di is becoming my bhabhi for sure "
Purab smiles at her and says "Okay wait.. I won't tell Di. You tell Bhai though ..then he will get the confidence to propose to her ".
"Done ! Wow surprise after surprise Purab ! I am still not able to believe all this . First We all happen to know each other somehow and now Di and Bhai love each other . Yayyy ! "
Bulbul hugs him out of excitement and both of them have the same' I feel so complete when I hug you . Now that our siblings also love each other, it's going to be easy to convince family. I will propose to u soon' feeling . They come out of the hug smiling broadly and go towards the water , holding hands and looking far away at the ship ,sailing deep into the sea.
"Okay Purab lets go out for icecream na. A trip to the beach doesn't get complete without icecream !"
"You guys follow that ritual too? Di and I always do that "
"Great then come we'll ask the lovebirds about it 😃 "
They go to Pragya and Abhi who are chatting about something , Abhi narrating something animatedly and Pragya laughing at that..
"They make such a perfect couple Purab! They look so cute together "
"Hai na ? God bless them ".
They both smile and go towards their most favourite couple
"Bhai.. Di ? What's the joke tell us also na ?"
"Nothing in particular Gudiya ... We started talking about something and God knows how we ended up in this topic now. I was telling her about an incident from college ".
"Okay Bhai if you want to keep your conversation a secret then I don't mind "
Pragya and Abhi blush at that but Abhi says"Okay enough stop pulling my legs . You guys had fun ?"
"Yes Bhai a lot of fun . You should've come too "
"It's okay Purab we had a nice time chatting too"
"Yes yes I can see 😆 "
Pragya gives him a 'Keep quiet Chote' stare and he chuckles at his sister's expression
"Okay Di and Bhai. Icecream time!"
"Sure let's go".. Abhi and Pragya say ,at the same time ,again.
"Second time in a day guys. Good going 😃 "
Abhi shrugs his shoulders with a 'I don't know how that happens' expression and all of them smile at that and start walking towards their modes of transport
"Purab how did you guys come ?"
"My Bike Bhai "
"Wow bike ? Purab please can I drive that till the icecream parlour . Woh Kya hai na it's been so long since I drove mine and in London it's just car and car all the time "
"Sure bhai why are you requesting?" he says and gives him the key
" 😊 Thanks Purab.. Now who wants to come with me ?"
"No way I am coming with you Bhai ! You drive really fast ! I'll go with Purab in our car and meet you guys there "
Pragya's heart starts racing with the thought of going on her first bike ride with Abhi
"So fan girl , Let's go?"
"Okay Abhi"she says and smiles nervously.
"Arey dont worry. I am good at riding bikes so chill 😎 "
He puts his helmet on and gives her the other . She wears it and opens the visor , for better view.
"Hold me fan girl . I drive fast like Gudiya mentioned"
"Okay boss . I'll love it though cos I love the feeling of the cool wind against my face"
"Great then "
Pragya keeps her palm on his shoulders and Abhi freezes at her touch. Pragya senses that and is unsure if she should remove her hand when Abhi recovers and says"Get ready for the best ride of your life .You are going to love it 😃 "
"Haha I can't wait to experience it "
And Pragya does have the best ride of her life ,with the love of her life..😆..
The awesome foursome meet up at the icecream parlour and have a wonderful time ordering all their favourite flavours and chatting about every random thing possible . Abhi invites Pragya ad Purab for lunch at his place ,the next day .
After spending around half an hour there , they decide to call it a day and go back home after bidding each other goodbye and talking about how every thing changed in one day ,with the realisation about the siblings 😊 Life seemed beautiful now .
