"Hey Chote ! How are you ?"
"Hi Di. I am good. But so unlike you to call as soon as you get back home.. You usually talk before you sleep na.. All okay ?"
"Yes yes chote all fine. I just wanted to share something with you "
"Bol na Di baath kya hai ?"
"Chote.. I.. I..."
"You what Di?"
"I love you chote "
"I love you too Di..you wanted to share this ? You have been sharing this with me , everyday, for the past twenty four years na ?"
"Arey no chote ! I don't know how to start.. I am sure you will tease me but we both know you are the first person I share anything with. So be nice and don't tease okay ? Promise karo"
"Promise ? Okay Di tum kuch weird si behave kar rahi ho aaj. Promise I won't tease you. Bolo now"
Pragya takes a deep breath and says"Okay fine chote. I love Abhi !"
"Di..? 😲 You SERIOUS ?"
"Yes chote I am .. I love him "
"Wow Di kab? kaise? "
"I don't know when .. I just slowly started falling for him right from that reply to my first wrong mail... Every small thing he said, his spontaneous,witty and funny replies during our chat conversations,his love for his sister... I have always liked him you know that, but now I LOVE HIM 😃 "
"Diii I am SO HAPPY FOR YOU !!! Oh God I am not there to hug you now 😔 "
"Chote, you didn't tease me 😲 "
"Why will I tease you Di ? Firstly, I have always wanted this to happen and secondly, I promised that I wont tease you.. Have I ever not kept a promise that I made to you ?"
"Never. Thanks for understanding me and being there always Chote "
"No emotional dialogues Di. Then I will not know where to begin and where to end for all the things that you have done for me all these years. Remember the promise we made to each other when we were kids na .. We will ALWAYS be there for each other NO MATTER WHAT "
"Yes Chote. We will " she says and gives him an imaginary hug 🤗
"Okay Di so what next ? When are you going to tell him about this ?"
"I don't even know if I will tell him chote"
"WHATT???"
"Yes.. Come on he is THE Abhishek Mehra ... world known designer and all that and you think he will love ME ? I am just another girl , miles away from him .. Thats what makes me feel bad.. I have fallen for someone who I am sure will have no feelings towards me. As far as I know, he considers me a good friend yes but Love ? I don't know chote..."
"What Di! Without even trying you can't just decide that he will not love you back ! Atleast consider telling him Di ! Who will not love you ? Come on Di !"
"Chote.. you are my brother so I am special to you and you think everyone has to love me cos I am very sweet and all that. But I don't want to ruin our friendship .. If I propose to him , if he likes me GREAT but if he doesn't? He will feel awkward to even talk to me after that and whatever little conversation we have been having will also stop Chote ..."
"I get your point Di but I still feel what you are doing is not right. When you love someone, you can't give up without trying ! "
"Okay chote.. Let's see what is in store for me.. As of now I will be happy with my realisation for a while.. I will try understanding with the way he reacts during our conversations in future, if there is any scope for a 'US '.. Hope that happens"
"Good Di. Some good decision at least .. Don't keep judging for too long though.."
"I won't chote don't worry . I was having mixed feelings before talking to you but now even I feel like giving it a chance.. Let's hope it is positive "

They continue chatting about Purab's life in London and the fundraiser event on Thursday. Later both of them bid each other good bye and Purab goes for practice and Pragya goes to have her dinner.
It's Thursday ,the day of the event. Purab and Bulbul are getting ready for their respective programs.
That evening , Abhi comes from office directly while Bulbul comes with her friends , to the venue.
Purab and his friends are in one room backstage while Bulbul is in another room. It's time for Bulbul's performance and Rohan comes to call her.
Bulbul goes on to the stage ,after deciding that she will sing a medley , few lines from some of her favourite songs and starts with 'Manwa laage' (from 'Happy new year')and goes on to sing 'Barsore '( from 'Guru'), 'O Bekhabar' ( from 'Action Replayy') , 'Bahara' ( from 'I hate love stories') , and finishes with 'Yeh ishq hai' ( from 'Jab we met') 😊...( Guys, these are some of my favourite female solo hindi songs.. you imagine Bulbul singing your favourite songs 😆 ) . Her friends Sunaina and Ananya support her with Keyboard and Guitar , wherever needed.
She has such a mesmerising voice that the crowd is so involved in her singing. Purab , who hears the first like of Manwa laage .. goes out to see the owner of the beautiful voice and is surprised to find the very same girl there..
"She sings?? I thought the only thing she knows was to shout ! Woah it's so beautiful !!!"
He is not able to take his eyes off her as she looks beautiful in a white Kurthi and her voice is like velvet that flows so flawlessly ...
"Her voice is just wow ! It's magical ! " .
He is so engrossed in her performance that he forgets that he should be performing next 😆
"Purab.. Purab... PURAB !" , his friend Adhi hisses in his ears as they are seeing the performance from backstage and he can't afford to shout.
"Uh?"
"Yes that girl is singing really well but we have to perform next!"
"What ? Oh yeah perform ! Sorry adhi I got carried away.. But wait na is going to get over .. I will come in five mins"
"Purab we have to practice one last time.. You already came out suddenly when we were practicing inside, so now they want you to come in too"
"What yaar Adhi !" , he pouts and goes with his friend, unable to get the image of this smiling nightingale out of his mind .
Bulbul is awarded with a standing ovation when she gets done with her performance . She bows along with Sunaina and Ananya and grins broadly at Abhi who returns her grin , from the first row and mimes an 'I love you gudiya!'. She then goes backstage as it is time for the next performance
She hugs her friends and thanks them for supporting her in the performance.
"Yay we did it ! It was so much fun, singing here and the standing ovation ! I didn't expect that "
"You deserved it darling. I got goosebumps when you sang. You are truly blessed with a lovely voice "
"Thankyou so much Anu..", Bulbul says and they have a group hug
It's time for the boys from LSD and Bulbul decides to watch from there as she doesn't want to miss even the opening while wasting time to go to the front row.
They come on to the stage and give a mind blowing performance and leave the audience in awe. Bulbul loves it and just as she is waiting to look at the face of the guy in the centre, he turns and she is shocked.
"Purab?! Omg Purab dances SO WELL? Wowww!!!"
Abhi , who is watching the dance is impressed with the performance as such, but in particular with one guy at the centre.( We know who😆 )
"Such grace ! This guy dances really well ! LSD has its way of identifying and developing talent! "
The performance gets over and there are claps for few minutes continuously and the crowd cannot stop praising Bulbul's music and this dance performance.
Rohan thanks Abhi profusely and decides to go meet Bulbul too.
Few more performances follow and once it's done, there is dinner organised for the event and Abhi decides to go there and wait for Gudiya.
Purab gets a call during the last performance so he excuses himself to go answer it. By the time he is back, the performance is over and none of his friends are there in the room. He asks around and gets to know that they have gone for dinner and so goes there in search of them .
He enters the hall where buffet has been arranged . He looks towards the right when he enters the place and so happens to bump into some one..
He looks up to to find Abhi looking back at him.
"Abhi ? I mean Jiju ? I didn't know he was going to be here..Di should've been here.. Oh no ! So much for a good first impression .. Okay Purab, Damage Control !"
"Woh I am very sorry Mr Mehra .. I didn't see where I was going"
"No problem.. Happens 😊 and you know me ?"
"Yeah who doesn't know you ? My sister is from your industry too so have heard a lot about you 😊 " (He doesn't know if he should talk about Pragya working for him ,yet)
"Sister ? Pragya?"
MV: "Ask him Abhi! Ask ask ask!"
"Ok wait"
"Oh nice . Do I know your sister ?"
"Ok now I guess I can tell him.. also, see how he reacts to that Purab beta"
"Hmm yeah she works for you .Pragya Arora "
MV:"Bingo Abhi! So this is your would be brother in law. Be nice to him now "
"Oh you are Pragya's brother ! Nice to meet you 😊 ."
"Broad smile after he heard Di's name. Positive reaction YAY 😃 !"
"Very glad I got to meet you too Mr Mehra"
"Can you please consider calling me Abhi? Mr Mehra is just TOO formal ! 😆 "
"Will be calling you Jiju in few days hopefully, my now would-be-Jiju "
"Haha if you want it to be informal then can I call you bhai? You are older than my sister and I don't want to call you by your name"
"Sure why not ! I am perfectly fine with that . BTW you dance really well young man 😃 "
"Thanks Bhai . I am Purab "he says and both of them shake hands
Abhi feels nice when Purab calls him bhai . He gets a positive vibe about that and he smiles at Purab
MV:"Bhai now and Jiju in few days. Way to go Abhi 😃 !"
"Pragya was telling me you were here for LSD . You are comfortable with wherever you are staying now ?"
"Yes bhai I am staying with my friend and it's fun. London is a very nice place. Expensive yes, but a nice place to visit "
"Yeah sure is . I used to get all fascinated when I was new here too. Now guess I am used to this place 😊 Let me know if you need anything Purab. This is my card "
"Sure bhai that's nice of you. Thanks a lot"
Abhi smiles at his new found little brother and Purab's friends come calling out his name . They don't see that he is talking to someone and so slightly shout
"Purab! Here you are ! "
Purab looks at Abhi and tells him.."Got to go now bhai. See you later 😊 "
"Sure Purab take care"
They both smile and go in the opposite directions , Purab asking his friends where they had gone as he tried looking for them but couldn't find them and Abhi going out of the hall dialing bulbul's number to check why she hasn't come yet.
Bulbul is looking around the place for a glimpse of Purab or atleast one of the LSD boys so that she could ask him about Purab. She somehow wants to apologise to him today . Unfortunately, she doesn't find anyone there and she gets her bhai's call asking her to come for dinner.She says she will be there and soon after hanging up she realises that her laptop , which she had brought along with her, is in the room and goes to get that. She has to walk all the way back to the room and by the time she comes back to the hall , Purab and his friends have left after having their dinner. She feels bad for missing this chance to meet Purab and goes to meet her Bhai and have dinner hoping she will get another opportunity soon.
