He has come to trust her and depend on her ! This kidnapping track was just a means to an end, so Abhi gets a reality check, because this emotional intimacy between them has been slowly building up since after the MMS track !!!

Like you said in the prvious post, Abhi getting shot will not make any sense, the story will only move forward only if Pragya gets shot and that too for taking a bullet, meant for him. He needs to realize her importance in his life, because otherwise he is always taking her for granted.

That was the funny moment also we got to see Abhi with specs again. I love to see him with specs. Also what he told pragya to ask god was awesome.
