Pragya-Tannu Drabble: Laddu

T: Pragya, because of you, Abhi is in such a bad mood. He doesn't even talk to me. Damn it..

P: No, don't use such words. Your baby will hear them.

T: What baby? I mean Oh well... Hope you didn't tell Abhi about it.

P: You should tell him. I will never tell him about it. You should tell him and his mood will be happy.

T: I will see.

P: By the way, I had something to tell you, if you don't mind.

T: What?

P: You know, you shouldn't wear heels during pregnancy. What if you fall and hurt the baby and yourself?

T: Come on, I am a model. I know how to walk in heels.

P: And you are not eating fish na?

T: Fish? I LOVE fish.

P: But it can have mercury. Don't eat all kinds of fish.

T: What the hell, Pragya, I don't want your advice. Why do you care?

P: Because it's a baby and it's his baby..

T: Whatever, are you done with your advices?

P: No alcohol right?

T: (rolls eyes)

P: Just one more thing, you know I made some laddus for you. They are very nutritious. Please have them (hands over a box).

T: (looks at the ghee covered laddus) I am not eating them. I will put on 1 pound if I eat even one.

P: You have to put on weight anyway. At least 30 pounds.

T: No way.

P: Tannu, be a good girl, eat them now.

T: No!!

P: (holds her and shoves a laddu in Tannu's mouth)..

T: Ewww (spits it off)

P: (tries to feed the laddu again)... again.. and again...

T: (struggles to escape)..

P: Girl, you have to eat...

T: Meri Maa, please let me go..

P: No way...

T: I will become fat.. there is no baby in my belly.. please let me go... (begs).

P: What? (lets her go in shock).

T: Nothing (realizes she said the wrong thing). Eat laddus yourself.

Pragya-Tannu drabble: Baby shopping

P: Tannu, listen, let's go shopping.

T: What? Shopping with you, Behenji?

P: Not for you, for the baby. See the thing is I will leave this house in a few days, and I may not be here when the baby is born etc. But I want to buy stuff for the baby. He might refuse to accept the gifts I would want to send later. So, please come with me, na?

T: Seriously, Pragya!

P: Look if you don't come, I will tell him about the pregnancy.

T: (gets worried), let's go.

(P takes T to Chembur, to the busiest road, Tannu is annoyed. P makes her sit in a baby clothing shop and keeps on choosing booties, sweaters, dresses etc. Tannu finds it hard to kill time).

P: Hey look at his one. We will buy neutral colors, would work whether it's a boy or a girl.

T: Buy whatever, I don't care.

P: I am sure the baby will look like him, yellow looks good on him, shall I buy yellow onesies?

T: I hate yellow.

P: It's okay, babies look good in all colors. I will also buy blue and white, okay, and pink too. If it's a boy, may be you can only put it on once.. just to take pic.

T: Are we done here, I want to leave.

P: Wait, Tannu, we still need to buy hats. And some bibs too. And..

T: I have no time for this fricking thing...

P: But what about baby dog tags, bracelets? We should get his or her ear pricked too.. even if it's a boy.. you know I wanna dress him or her just like the father.

T: Then why don't you go have a baby with him, Pragya? I am leaving.

P: Tannu, wait..

(T stroms off, P wonders why T is not at all interested in baby stuff. Wonders who will do all the shopping since neither Abhi knows about the baby, nor Daadi.. feels bad for the baby... but then wonders why Tannu neither really wants to tell Abhi, nor seems happy with the baby).

a: I am George pig *snorts*

a: You are Daddy Pig, now do *snorts*

A: What?

P: It's from his cartoon, do it na.

A: I am a pig? What even?

P: It's a pig family cartoon. Everyone snorts.. do it.

A: *snorts*

a: Yeyyy, and you are Mommy Pig...

P: *snorts*

A: *shakes head*

a: Where is Peppa Pig?

A: Pappa who? I am Pappa..

a: No, I want Peppa *cries*

P: Betu, don't worry, we will bring Peppa..

A: Peppa?

P: Oh, you don't know anything. Peppa pig is George pig's sister. Aaru is saying he wants a sister *blushes*.

A: Ah, I get it.. you want as well, Fuggy? *winks*

a: I want Peppa...

A: Don't worry rockstar, Mommy and Daady will try through the night.. *snorts*

P: Suniye, all that I said in the jungle was not true. I was just carried away because you saved my life. I don't really love you.

A: What the hell? I don't believe that..👎🏼

P: There is more, since there is no love, I will leave you and go to my mother's house. 🤓

A: Wait, let me deal with your going home first, why do you need to go home if you don't love me? You have been here all along without love between us.👍🏼

P: But I gotta go.

A: Tell me why.❓

P: Kyunki aap Paapa banney wale hain ('cause you are gonna be a father).😔

A: Really? Oh Em Gee!! When did this happen? And I get it... you wanna go home because you wanna rest and not stress the baby.. hmm? It's okay.❤️

Tell me the truth, when did we do it? You did kiss and do all that in jungle na? Anyways, I don't mind it anymore.. because now I have realized...Or wait, did we do it in Purab's house earlier today? I felt things that I never felt before.

P: What nonsense? How can a woman get pregnant and know it within a day?

A: Then it must have been the jungle.😳

P: No, nothing happened in jungle. I wish..🥺

A: Then you did some jaadu na?😛

P: My God, I am not pregnant.😔

A: Then, how can I be Paapa banneywala hoon?❓

P: Not for my child, but churail's?😡

A: What? Churails? I am a human being, not a devil or a monster. I am not commpatible with churails to do it.

A: Are you crazy, I never did it with her without protection. Wait, I haven't even done anything for ages, I mean ever since I married you. How can that be possible? I didn't even feel a thing when I hug her also, these days...😲😲

P: Really, then why did she tell me...wait, she could be plotting na?😲

A: Sure she does, she was also trying to get me talk to her dad and marry her.😲

P: And she sent her parents to my house. 😲

A: How could she do that?😲

P: She did..😒

A: Okay, enough. Let's throw her out of the house..

Drabble: I want to forget

(Background: In the current scenario, Abhi confessed his love for Pragya and told Tannu he does not love her anymore. Tannu was planning something bad against AbhiGya while Abhi finally decided to build a life with Pragya).

So that night-

Abhi was eager to finally make Pragya his in bed. He had no doubt that she and him were emotionally together after all that they had been through. Now it was time to act on the attraction that had bothered him for longer than he wanted to admit.

When Pragya came to the room that night, she wasn't sure where she should sleep. She normally slept on the sofa but she was now aware that he wouldn't want that anymore, nor did she.
As she stood fidgeting with her dupatta by the door, Abhi slowly walked towards her.
There was so much excitement, desire and shyness between the two of them that there couldn't be words to speak.

Abhi closed the door gently pulling her in.

He caged her to the door with his arms and smiled naughtily. She smiled back coyly.

And in a few moments Abhi found himself nuzzling her neck while his hands held her waist. He had his moments of pride in her gasps.

He picked her in his arms soon and laid her on the bed. He laid besides her, put a leg across her legs and cupped her face to kiss her.

That was when Pragya put her hand between his mouth and hers to his surprise.

'I want this, but...', she said in almost a whisper.

Abhi was trying to gather her reasons.

'Come with me to the washroom', she got up.

Fuggy wants to do it in the shower?- Abhi was getting naughty thoughts. He followed her nevertheless.

She turned the shower on and grabbed soap wash. Abhi watched in amusement.

'I want to wash off all memories of Tannu' Pragya said with a start. Abhi was perturbed deeply.

'I love you more than my life. But I can't get over the images of you in Tannu's house on our wedding night, you celebrating her birthday, you going to her room in Pune, her hugging and kissing you, touching you... I need to wash it off. Can you help me? Not from your skin but from my head... Can you help me?' Pragya was almost hysterical.

It didn't take more for Abhi to realize the damage Tannu and him caused on Pragya in that moment. He wanted to kick himself for every little thing he had wronged Pragya with.

But his hope was when she crushed into his chest crying, begging for help.

And he knew he had to undo a lot. But he was ready to win this battle.

A conversational TaBhi drabble: What is love, Tannu?

A: Tannu, what is love?

T: It's what we have, Abhi. Like we meet, enjoy, have fun and all.

A: Do you love me?

T: Of course, I love you a lot.

A: Then, how could you allow me to marry Pragya?

T: Because you know I couldn't marry you at that time, and you needed to revenge for Aaliyah. And I thought it's a good arrangement.

A: You were okay to let me marry someone for some other purpose. So did I.

T: Well, that was our deal.

A: You didn't want to kill Pragya when she and I were getting married?

T: Abhi, why are you talking like this, we had this understanding, right?

A: Did you miss me, when I would be here at home, with Pragya?

T: Of course I did. What are you talking about?

A: No, you never missed me enough. Nor did I miss you. Nor did I use to miss you before as much.

T: What nonsense is this Abhi?

A: You know I wanted to kill that.. double batt... and this shirtless idiot..

T: What?

A: Do you understand my problem right now?

T: What problem? Your Pragya problem? I don't give a damn.

A: You know what, I don't give a damn about your problem either.

T: What the hell, Abhi?

A: The bottom-line is I don't love you Tannu. I don't think you love me either. I am sorry if you do. But I have figured out, I don't. And you won't be happy with me.

T: How can you conclude that? What happened to you? Why are you talking this shit?

A: Because love is not what you said it is, love is not whom you want to be with, love is whom you can't live without. Sorry Tannu. I don't know yet if I love Pragya or not, I don't love you.
