This OS refers to a painful past of Pragya which will make her much devastated and crush all her hopes on relationships. Pragya and both Arora and Mehra families will get to know that she was adopted by Sarla. Her real family is none other than the enemy who want to snatch her happiness that is Tanu, her real sister and her parents. What will be reaction knowing this bitter truth?
Tanu's parents : Roma and Shashank
Roma : So this is your wife
Pragya : I am sorry do I know you
Tanu : They are my parents by the way, they want to know abhi and your's marriage truth
Pragya and Abhi are confused on what to say.
Dadi : What truth are you talking about ?
Tanu : Abhi now is the right time to tell the truth, tell dadi everything
Abhi hesitantly reveals everything to Dadi.
Dadi : I cannot believe this
Abhi : It is truth dadi, I created this mess and not only this poor girl also is trapped with me, what should I do
Dadi : You are right, you made this situation complicated so now only you will solve, if you think I made a mistake by making you marry Pragya then you are free to make your decision but remember that you will be responsible for ruining her life
Pragya : Its okay dadi, I had taken insult my whole life, I will take it more, I was not afraid of it before, nor I am scared now
Abhi and Roma are stunned to see the strong headed girl who is willing to sacrifice her life for her love

Abhi goes to his room. Purab makes him understand and guides him.
Purab : Bhai, I am sorry, I am the one who started this and you and di were forced into this marriage
Abhi : No you don't have to, I should be thankful to you and Dadi that she came in my life because of both of you, there would not be better choice than her in my life, but i don't deserve to be with a girl like her

Purab's words echoed in Abhi's mind very strongly. He remembers his all moments including the funny moments and the pain he caused to the girl he is attached to. Pragya finds him tense but decides to let him take his own time.
Next day everybody has a different mood not knowing what is store in them. All of them gathers in Mehra house. Tanu and Aliya seemed super happy as they think Abhi will be in their favor.
Shashank : So what have you decided? I hope you took a wise decision
Tanu : Of course dad,
Roma : Be quiet for a while Tanu
Abhi's eyes looks for someone who he needs to give him strength. Pragya finally comes to the hall.
Tanu : Abhi, why are you so quiet? we are waiting
Abhi : Dadi, you know I always said I never believed in marriage until you brought this girl into my life, I don't care in what situation we got married but I realized one thing that marriage not only needs love but understanding, and I know nobody can understand me more than fuggy
Dadi is very much delighted on Abhi's words.
Abhi : Don't feel I am doing this just for your sake, the truth is that I don't want to stay away from her
Tanu : What are you saying? tell me you didn't start get feeling for her
Abhi : You know thats the reason we cannot be together because you will never understand any relationship

Tanu goes and smacks Pragya when Roma slaps her.

Abhi : Tanu please try to understand, we were never meant to be, you have to forget me, I know it is hard for you but I know you are strong
Tanu : No way, I will never lose you in front of this middle class plain jane
Abhi : Now you are crossing your limit
Roma breaks down seeing her daughter in this state.
Shashank : Hold yourself
Roma : It is my biggest mistake that I pampered her a lot. If our other daughter was with us today, she would have been like her
Pragya ; It is never parent's fault, they always do throe duty, it depends on person's thinking, if everybody in this world would be same then life would be nothing
Tanu ; Other daughter? what are you hiding from me
Shashank : we had another daughter who we abandoned years ago after her birth
Everybody is stunned to hear it.
Tanu : Why did you abandon her?
Shashank : we were being selfish asking for a son, since she was our first child, then we lost the hope of having a boy after you were born. our biggest mistake of misunderstanding, one of the priest told us that she is a bad luck for us
Roma ; We left her at Sanskar orphanage
Dasi : How could someone do this to their own daughter? this much greediness
Sarla gets restless after hearing the orphanage name.
Sarla : When did you left her?
Roma tells her date making Sarla shocked that same day she adopted Pragya same day. She gets little faint.
Pragya : Mom, are you okay?

Tanu : How could you hide such a big thing from me?
Roma : why should we tell you that? in these we never tried to find her
Sarla is in dilemma to tell Pragya the truth which will shatter her. She finally muster the courage to open her mouth.

Roma : How do you know? where is she
Sarla : She is between us right now
Bulbul : Mom how do you know that?
Roma : where is she?
Sarla grabs Pragya and makes her stand in front of her which makes everybody confused.
Sarla : Your daughter is none other than this girl in front of you
Pragya : are you okay ma? what nonsense is this?
Abhi and everybody is astonished to hear the bitter truth. Pragya is not ready to believe the truth.
Sarla : Pragya, come to senses
Pragya : I am your daughter, I cannot be her daughter, never
Sarla : You have to accept this truth dear
Roma : My daughter? I am sorry dear
Pragya : Don't touch me, stay away, I am nothing for you, this is my family not you both
Roma realizes how gold hearted her daughter turned out to be.
Shashank : I know we did a sin by abandoning you, we should never be forgiven for this
Pragya : Even if god forgive you I will never, not for the reason you left me but you both set a bad example for this society, (says angrily)
Roma : Please listen to me once
Pragya ; You know people till date were cursing me because of my status but I never listened to it, everybody calls me behenji because from my young age I shouldered responsibility and then become a professor who wears glasses, I never asked for a lavish lifestyle but a simple life
Dadi and Abhi gets hurt hearing her turmoil
Pragya : I never got a chance to pursue a dream because I never got time to do it, I hate myself more today that I am your blood, seeing Tanu so much selfish today I realized I feel lucky that you both did not raise me, I wonder how can I be your daughter
Shashank : Beta, we don't deserve your forgiveness but if you can forgive us
Roma : Give whatever punishment you want
Pragya : By giving you punishment I don't want to spoil the sacred of this relation, god gave you that in form of this Tanu, It is not my nature to punish anybody
Roma : Sarlaji, it will be less how much I thank you for raising my daughter in a way I could have never did, lets go shashank
Tanu feels jealous of being Pragya's sister.
