Abhi stepped into Arora house closely followed by Aaliyah, Bulbul and Purab.
"Pragya we should start the preparations soon. I have waited so long for this to happen and I am so happy."
Abhi watched Suresh putting his hand on top of Chashmish's... HIS Chashmish's hand. How dare he?
Aaliyah bumped right into Abhi's back as he paused in the doorway seeing the scene unfolding before him.
She peeped over Abhi's shoulder and saw Pragya and Suresh standing together in the hall. She quickly looked at her Bhai and gulped seeing his murderous look.
"What the hell is he doing here? Oh no this is not good!" Aaliyah muttered to Purab.
"So not good!" Purab affirmed looking at Abhi standing with curled fists.
"OMG this is gonna be so much fun!"
Bulbul whispered excitedly earning her two disbelieving looks from Aaliyah and Purab.
"Are you out of your mind Bulbul!? Bhai is gonna kill him! Right here!"
"I know Aaliyah! Isn't that exciting?"
Aaliyah rolled her eyes.
Abhi felt fury unknown ever before running through his veins making him oblivious to everything except Suresh's hand lying on top of his Chashmish's.
How dare he touch my Chashmish! And they think he is the perfect match to Chashmish! How could they even think like that! Look at him! And look at her! I am sure Sarala Aunty has forced her to accept this proposal! Otherwise she wouldn't even think of marrying this double battery!
I am going to talk to her right now! There is no way she is going to marry him! Chashmish is definitely not happy with this! She loves me! She loves ME!? Right?
"I know Suresh! This was my dream! I am so excited!"
The trio turned to Abhi hearing Pragya's words to find him with his mouth hanging open, shock written all over his face.
"Chashmish!?"
Abhi called out in disbelief.
"Oh my god! Abhi!"
Abhi felt his head spinning seeing Chashmish's face.
Oh no! Chashmish's smile! It is her real wala smile! She really IS happy. Happy to marry Double battery. Happy to spend the rest of her life with him. Happy to share her happiness, sadness with him. What am I going to do? What would happen to me!
He stood there numb as the trio went and hugged Pragya offering their congratulations. As soon as they let go of her, Pragya ran to Abhi and grabbed his hand leading him inside the house.
"Hello Suresh! It is so good to see you! Congratulations!" Aaliyah said.
"Yes! Congratulations Suresh! Guess we'll be seeing more of you from now!" Purab patted his shoulder.
Abhi scowled hearing their excitement.
"Thank you!"
Suresh smiled politely at them completely unaware of Abhi's murderous glare!
"Hey guys don't sit there!"
Bulbul hissed to the other two when they went to sit.
"Why?" Purab asked bewildered.
"Oh ho Purab come and sit here in the sofa! You will get a better view!"
Other two quickly joined her in the sofa and turned their attention to the scene unfolding.
"Abhi! Abhi! Abhi! I was just gonna call you! I am so happy! Isn't this the bestest best news!"
Oh no! I don't want to hear this! I can't hear this! Abhi felt a shiver running down his spine.
"Chashmish! Listen! Not now! Okay!"
"No Abhi! You have to hear me out! I am so excited!"
"Chashmish then you have to listen to me first! Really this is important!"
"My news is important too! I have waited all my life for this!"
"I know! Wait! WHAT!"Abhi cried exasperatedly.
"Well! Yeah! I have been waiting for this for ages now! And you know that! Okay! It is not my fault if you were not paying attention to what I have been talking 24x7!"
Abhi was surprised. Chashmish has been talking about getting married 24x7? Well, then why can't I remember it? As far as I remember for the last couple of months she only talked about some research thing! Did I fell asleep? Nah... And I thought she didn't want to get married for another 2-3 years!
"Chashmish but you were talking about this research thing for the last couple of months na..."
The trio, who were giggling seeing confused Abhi and irritated Pragya, looked at each other hearing Abhi's words.
"Oh ho! Abhi! That is...", began Pragya only to be cut off mid sentence by Aaliyah.
"PRAGYA DI! So when are you two starting the preparations?"
"Er... Well, we are planning to start soon Aaliyah. And there is a lot to do! But no worries as I have got the perfect partner!"
Pragya smiled fondly at Suresh.
Perfect partner! So Chashmish thinks double battery is her perfect partner! Well, she is wrong! I just have to make her realize that I... I am her perfect partner! Then maybe... Not maybe! Then surely she will not marry this double battery!
Okay let's show Chashmish who is the best!
"Perfect partner huh?"
Abhi asked mockingly as he went and sat right opposite Suresh.
"Well, yeah..." Pragya answered sensing something amiss with his tone.
"Okay give me 5 reasons!"
"What!"
"Well, you heard me! Give me 5 reasons why he is your perfect partner!"
"Abhi! What are you doing? What is going on?"
Pragya asked suspiciously but Abhi continued to stare at Suresh, refusing to look at her.
"Suresh! Please don't mind him. He is just kidding!"
She tried to assure Suresh who looked uncomfortable with Abhi's scrutiny.
"No Masterji! I am not kidding! I am serious!"
Abhi finally looked at Pragya.
"Now Chashmish give me 5 reasons!"
