CHAPTER 6
The next day when pragya woke up she wasn't expecting to see her mother abhi to come in their house. when he saw her he smiles at her, before walking towards her happily with his hands stretch out. "pragya, i've miss you so much." he said hugging her with glee
sarla seeing this smiles for the couple, she knew this will be a chance for them to sort out whatever argument that's going on, and pragya going back to her in-laws house. decided to give them space, she left them alone in the hallway. Pragya on the other hand was taken back by abhi affection, she was confuse because she was sure he hated her and blame her for what happen to dadi, but what more surprising is her heart, beating rapidly.
while hugging her abhi touches her hair while whispering "i found out you didn't tell sarla that we're divorce." he said making her gasp
"h-how did you know?"
"easy, when she called me she told me some stuff, which made me put two and two together." he said whispering in her ears
the heat of his breath and body, made pragya dizzy, she just wants to get away from him and go to her room. Abhi on the other hand wouldn't let her leave, he removes his mouth from her ears and bends down to look at her with their face so close together one would think their kissing. "i'm planning on telling her myself, saving you the trouble.' he said before letting her go
pragya panicking begs abhi not to inform her mother, but he just shook his head and smile " why should i reconsider your feelings when you didn't to mine." he said
"please abhi, don't do this." she beg with tears, but abhi just ignored her and walk away, leaving her to cry in the hallway. thats how bulbul found her, sitting down with her head on her knees.
"Didi.. what happen?" she asks holding her sister
"abhi" she said before fainting
bulbul worried, call for help while screaming her sister name. while doing so everyone came out and quickly rush to pragya side, they took her to her room and lay her down. worried they all wonder what happen to her, abhi watching the whole thing felt a little guilty, but that was soon washed away when bulbul saw him.
getting up she marched over to him and drag him outside "you what are you doing here, didn't you ruin her life enough." she yelled
abhi just glares at her without saying anything, this irks bulbul alot " look we don't need you or your pity so you can leave. pragya was doing just fine without you, and she was starting her life again." she said now in tears
abhi rolled his eyes, he wasn't gonna be fooled by their tears, he knew she was no different from her sister after all she did take purub from Aaliya just thinking about it made him even angrier " i haven't done anything yet." he said before adding " i will make sure pragya get what she deserve for ruining Aaliyah and dadima life." he said before walking back inside
bulbul worried call purub to tell him what abhi just said, she told him everything and pragya condition. purub suggested that they be very cautious because abhi is unpredictable, and that they should make pragya avoid abhi at all time. agreeing with him she walk back in to make something for her sister.
Elsewhere, aaliya and tanu continues their act to impress dadi. this time tanu decides to massage dadi foot while she rest and she even brought her milk. dadi tiredly opens her eyes she thought she saw pragya. she stretch her arms and touch her cheeks lovingly,making tanu stop what she was doing " even though i'm like this, you're always taking care of me...thank you." she said
tanu smiles at this, thinking their plan is going smoothly and dadi is starting to warm up to her, she holds her hand that was against her smiling before saying " you are special to me like abhi, i would never let anything happen to you." she said making dadi smile
"i knew i picked the right one for abhi, I just hope he sees it." she said
tanu smiles even happier before adding " you must be tired still, i will let you sleep." she said getting up to leave, dadi watches her leave before saying " thank you pragya."
the following day, pragya have been anxious, abhi have been talking and helping sarla out as much as he can. every time they talk she would think he was gonna spill the truth to her, which would make her interrupt them and make excuses. today she was going to work, which was good for her because she doesn't have to think about abhi. When she reached her working place, she went to her class. while teaching the girls wouldn't stop talking about rock star abh and how he's married, this made her panic.
she didn't want anyone to know about her marriage to abhi especially her job, because if they knew the truth they would not like her. pragya continues to write on the board ignoring them, with her books open
"i thought he love the model tanu?" one of them said
"no way, shes just his ex" another said
"well i heard his wife is ugly" another said
"i heard too, why would abhi date an ugly girl."
"yeah if he doesnt love her why marry her, unless it was arranged." another said making the whisper get louder, one of the quiet student who was watching the teacher, saw her tense and watch as the chalk she had broke
"y-y-you guys stop it, dont go around spreading lies when you've never even seen the wife. " she said just loud enough for them to turn to her. she shyly look away before adding " are we forgetting abhi has good taste in girls, so i'm pretty sure his wife is ten times prettier than tanu.' she said making everyone glare at her
"shut up rani, no one ask for your opinion." one of the girls said
"hey leave her alone she was just saying her opinion " another said
"well she should stay out of it, because no one can compete with tanu."
"what's so great about abhi anyway, except for his music.' one of the boys said making the girls turn to him and call him names. pragya who was getting irritated turn around and slam her hand on the desk getting their attention "ENOUGH!"
" if this continues, i will have no choice but to assign everyone a 50 page essay to do." she said making them gulp in horror. once they all stayed quiet, pragya felt like throwing up, but luckily that feeling went away. at least abhi doesn't know that i work she thought
just than her door opens, making everyone turn around. pragya on the other hand was grabbing her chalk when she heard a voice "chashmish" he said walking in the classroom, making everyone gasp.
pragya froze when she heard abhi voice, she got up when she saw abhi in her classroom, looking for her until he saw her. when he saw her expression he smiles, but what he wasn't expecting was for her to back away a little. on the other hand, pragya emotions where getting to her, she wanted to run away. when she saw him get closer to her she felt dizzy again, she put her hand on her forehead while holding the desk to steady herself, that way abhi wouldn't notice what's happening but abhi had already saw it, concern he was about to say something about it when he saw her faint.
'PRAGYA!" he yells worried while running to catch her, everyone quickly got up worried about their teacher, while some went to call the nurse.
